I ordered the Omurice with the fried pork chop.

It arrived about 5 minutes later.

Omurice with fried pork: It was nicely presented and a huge portion. The egg and cheese was still very creamy on the inside which was amazing. The Japanese curry, was actually bland in flavor and the portion compared to the other parts of the dish was a little small which really hurt the overall dish as it made it dry. The pork chop was done beautifully: fatty, meaty, tender, and great crunch! However, the flavor of it was bland. The egg part had a great texture, but it tasted bland and watered down. The rice was cooked perfectly.

The service was very nice!

小西灣一個彈丸之地,實在沒有太多高質素的選擇。大部份不是領展的連鎖餐廳,就是街坊經營的小店,因此質素偏低,而且質素參差唯獨日常小館屬於別樹一格,鶴立雞群的一間食肆之所以叫小館,因為全店只能大約坐10個人所以大部份嘅時候,都係滿座,需要排隊輪候入座可以令到香港人排隊,可見質素一定有保證日常小館頗注重食物細節,小如一個餐湯,都用特色餐盆送上。當然味道極佳,濃郁滑溜,冬天恩物吉列豬扒蛋包飯,咖喱偏甜,配菜略小不過吉列豬扒炸得非常出色,粉漿極薄,新鮮熱辣仍有彈性及肉汁雞蛋就略嫌缺少鹽巴同時叫了一個牛肉漢堡及炸薯條,炸薯條又是非常有心思,最適合打卡人士。牛肉漢堡用料極足,牛肉有極濃焦香味,但卻沒有常見的燒燶苦味口感整體而言,$50-$70食到這種心思同質素,絕對超值,同級質素在觀塘區價位大約徘徊$80-$90不過就不要期待可以在日常小館坐得好舒服或坐得耐

。牛肉漢堡用料極足,牛肉有極濃焦香味
,但卻沒有常見的燒燶苦味口感


整體而言,$50-$70食到這種心思同質素,絕對超值
,同級質素在觀塘區價位大約徘徊$80-$90
不過就不要期待可以在日常小館坐得好舒服或坐得耐

在小西湾區想選一間特別點的西餐廳是有點難度,偶然知道開了這一間名“日常小館”的食肆,不能稱它為餐廳,因為面積很小,只有幾張枱,坐滿客會頗迫夾,而全場更只有一位侍應負責落單,侍客……等工序,若繁忙時段也真夠忙碌,所以也不能祈求有甚麼服務。說回食物質素,之前己在晚餐時段光顧了一次印象不錯,但晚餐相比下午時段選擇小了很多,於是再選一個星期六的下午再重臨,之前見到午餐時段有豬仔骨供應,可惜今次已在menu上消失,只好選吉列雪魚柳(配咖哩汁)旦包飯加十元有鮮奶咖啡,先說雪魚柳粉漿太厚亦炸得大久令魚很硬身,雪魚亦冇味道、一點都不好吃,而咖哩汁味道偏淡亦欠咖哩香,但最失望是旦只是大塊鋪在飯上而不是以旦包着飯,所以不如改名為咖哩魚柳旦飯更貼切。

餐湯就一般,但係隻蜆好大隻。蒜蓉包又熱又脆,正。

甜品冇得揀,只有opera cake,中規中矩。 (小的不是甜品控。)

小西灣少有出色的西餐, 朋友介紹下找到這間隱西餐, 一行四人膽粗粗一試.日常小館的晚餐是新試業, 頭盤可選湯或沙律另自行加$60的鵝肝.   鵝肝煎得外脆內軟, 配合青蘋果食, 一點也不油膩, 超值之選 ! 低溫烤焗澳洲羊膝配黑松露薯蓉.  羊肉炆得好林好入味, 加埋薯蓉, 分量十足! 炭燒西班牙黑牛豬架配紅酒燒汁.  本以為只是厚厚的豬扒, 誰知廚師把豬架外面煎得焦香, 裏面還是粉紅色的, 保留了肉汁, 意外的驚喜 !法式油封鴨腿伴西芹, 青蘋果配紅酒汁. 鴨腿外皮很脆, 配紅酒汁很夾, 只掠嫌肉質偏瘦.  炭燒8oz紐西蘭西冷扒配蔬菜焗薯.  要了份五成熟, 食到牛肉的焦香, 又保持到肉汁及鮮味, 完全滿足晒肉食朋友的要求  , 最後加杯即磨咖啡作完美的句號 !
