一進大門可以看到其簡約曰本風的設計,當進入店內時服務員也十分熱誠的招待,由於一早已訂了枱的關係,所以服務員也即時安排了我和友人在窗邊的二人枱位置。店內環境尚算寬敞,而近窗邊的座位都是能望到海景的,令整頓晚餐增添了不少浪漫感覺 餐牌上食物種類還可以,價格屬於中等吧。我們點了二款刺生,幾種壽司和一些串燒熟食。刺生不算出色,不過不失。 壽司方面留意到飯團裡本身已有醬料和很小的芥末,這點廚師非常用心,壽司新鮮,油脂分佈也十分平均,味道比刺生好 再來熟食我們點了牛舌,雞 翼,明太子腸。牛舌厚而嫰也不太油 明太子腸吃一條還可以,當吃到第二條時會發覺有點過鹹,但味道是可以的。至於雞翼太亁了。令外雞串和那碟墨魚咀也只是很一般,所以不多說了。 最後埋單$8xx, 總括來說環境和服務也是很不錯,食物還有進步空間,有機會還是會再來的。

好久沒來鯉景灣,要不是朋友帶路,也不知西灣河碼頭開了家日本料理,且還有寧靜的無敵大海景,與璀璨的維港夜景相比,是另一種截然不同的感覺。聽說午市很抵吃,不過今次晚餐來到,就試試他們的會席料理。先來兩客珍味小食,蒜頭漬,完全不像在吃蒜頭很爽,一點也不辣,帶木魚的香味,很有趣;冰頭三文魚軟骨,用醋醃漬過,酸酸的,爽脆之中帶點膠質,之前好像從未吃過。刺身拼盤,有螺、大拖羅、池魚、鰹魚,很新鮮,特別是大拖羅,並不是急凍貨,所以一點雪味也沒有,質素很高。壽司有海膽、帆立貝、油甘魚和𩶘魚,海膽是馬糞海膽,很鮮甜,帆立貝是連殼新鮮切的,所以口感有點爽。這裡的壽司飯是紅醋壽司飯,聽說比一般的壽司醋更健康。蔥吞拿魚腩手卷。紫菜夠脆,蔥吞拿魚腩蓉加上芝麻,入口甘香。最後以碗加上大片帆立貝的麵豉湯作結。飯後當然少不了甜品,套餐會附送芝麻或綠茶雪糕。

Packed during lunch but nice and private in the evenings, they serve Kaiseki sets for $800 and $1000.

I had the $1000 Kaiseki which has an appetizer, four types of sashimi and sushi, roll, soup and dessert.

My friend Z told me about Reiki Small Field, which is a new Japanese restaurant in Sai Wan Ho. (1) The lunch menu is compact but enticing. We order a fatty tuna rice bowl ($130), and there is a generous amount of tuna in the serve. We notice that the rice has a brownish colour, and the chef explains to us that he has opted for red, instead of white, vinegar for the rice to make it more healthy. He also deliberately puts very little sugar so the rice is less sweet than usual.

(2) The portion of the eel on rice ($105) is also robust. The sauce is well adjusted, and the eel boasts a delightful texture.

(3) The best part of the meal is the custom sushi set ($280), which includes 8 pieces of sushi specially selected by the chef. The scallop is impressively smooth, the fishes are excellently fresh and the ootoro sushi is utterly mouthwatering.

I didn't have very high expectations for this small neighbourhood restaurant, but I end up being very pleasantly surprised by the lovely ambience, the reasonable prices and the delicious food!

早前到過元朗的小日本,現在就來了西灣河的小日本了! 兩間的水準及價錢都相若,就是新界區和港島區的分別,再者就是這邊會有無敵大海景,而那邊就會有日本師傳坐陣。算是新界人及港島人的口福了,我這九龍人,為了美食,還是要遠道而來嘛! 店子處於碼頭隱蔽位置,並不顯眼,相信不是要到碼頭的朋友都不會留意得到吧!亦正因如此,餐廳與海是零距離的。面對着這海景用膳,同時嗅着海水味,看着碼頭船來船往,真有置身海中的感覺。值得一讚的,絕對是他們的價錢,在於高水準的日式料理餐廳來說,絕對是合理有餘,完全沒因海景而額外收景色費,很有良心! 我們幾個朋友一起到場,所以店員安排我們在私家房,關了門後,就是和朋友們的私人世界,還有海景、露台,環境甚好! 每人先點一份會席料理($1000),包括前菜、刺身、壽司、湯及甜品。 當日的前菜是剝皮魚。很特別吧?我才第一次聽說這種魚,老實話,那魚頭的外貌實不吸引,不過師傳加了花瓣,令整體添上色彩。果然,愈醜的魚愈好吃!嫩滑豐腴,脂香盈凝。而且已先拌入了醬汁,所以不用醬油都已經很有魚鮮! 不過魚獲這事是說不定的,如果大家必需要吃剝皮魚,就要先致電去溝通一下了。我們這次是很幸運才碰得

然後就到刺身。這拼盤是我們七人的份量,內有深海池魚王、秋刀魚、北海道帆立貝及大拖羅,師傳建議是由淺色的開始先吃,因為深色的如拖羅會比較味濃。 刺身全部都不負所望的,非常新鮮爽滑,那帆立貝什至還未死去,活生生的在蠕動!而拖羅的脂香甚濃,入口即溶的感覺實在無法抵擋!

先是饅魚飯($130),這俊魚實在厚身得很!師傳說是用上外面捨不得用的特厚饅魚,比較矜貴。用料上盛,吃下自然不同。饅魚比一般的除了更厚肉,同時更彈牙、更滑嫩、更鮮甜!而醬汁更是濃稠惹味,只是份量比較少,若能多放點汁至足以拌勻所有飯就更美味了!

另一個是蔥花吞拿魚腩飯($168),吞拿魚的份量毫不吝嗇,跟飯的比例剛好,每口飯都能拌以柔美綿綿的吞拿魚,而飯本身亦拌了赤醋,味道比一般的醋更溫順。

還有就是黃花魚一夜干($188)。黃花魚煎得非常香脆,但又不失魚肉的嫩滑,只是味道調得比較鹹了些,但魚本身是新鮮的。
整體來說,食物都令人滿意,用料上乘新鮮不隨便 最滿意的當然是景色怡人,同時價錢合理,值得拜訪!
