Food was extremely slow and the restaurant manager was very inch. I ordered 2 appetizers and 1 main course. The appetizers came in 15 mins but the main course came around 30 mins later. However, my book was at 7.30pm but they required us to leave at 8.45pm even though there was nobody queue up in front of the restaurant and it was not 100% full inside. ,我再說餐具剛換完,有菜還未上,她就再替我們換上甜品用的小刀叉(算「兜」得好…)。

朋友說蒜蓉包非常好味,烘得很香脆,蒜蓉味滲滿整個包;我也覺得很美味
,不像有些餐廳只在多士面層塗點蒜蓉就算。 至於那杯「手指餅Tiramisu」就可愛一點
… 可惜試下去就比較失望:味道似濃cream多過Tiramisu,咖啡和酒味差不多沒有,而且杯底竟是冰水!


總結:覺得這裡的裝修和提供的菜式有點「九唔搭八」(如以這西式裝修提供西餐/意大利菜應較配合),食物not value for money,服務不太合格。 不過店子位置好… 意思是可以靠「執死雞」,接收向隅「吉列專門店」的食客而已。

I had a very very bad experience in this restaurant last Fri..

When my friend reserved a table, the waitress requested us to end our dinner by 8:30p.m. It is okay becaue it is the normal practice.

On that day, when we arrived, the waitress reminded us this time (8:30p.m.). (1st time) When we ordered our dishes, she reminded us again. (2nd time). When she served us the first dish, she reminded us againf. (3rd time), Besides, another waiter, who seems to be the manager, came and asked whether we wanted to order our dessert because our dinner should be ended by 8:30p.m. (4th time). Oh! My god! it's only 7:15p.m. During our dinner time, the wainters and waitresses kept passing by, asking whether our dish was finished and they could took the plate away. Besides, the "manager" kept looking at his watch when he passed by. Withing 1.5 hrs, they reminded us many many times about the time 8:30p.m., both verbally and non-verbally. You could imagine how "confortable" we felt. In this dinner, we paid around $150 per head. I thought it's not worthy!!!

In my opinion, if they did not welcome those "non VIP", they could refused our booking. How could they give us such poor service.

Frankly, I will never go to this restaruant again even though the view is good.

For a long time I kept telling myself upon paying the bill... "I paid that money for the view". A cloudless Sunday afternoon a friend and I met at this Vietnamese place in CWB. I noticed the place a few times on the bus ride home, this place used to be Aroma Bakery, now turned into this Vietnamese place with retro decor and fancy lounge music.

I made a reservation for two requesting the window seats. We arrived 5 minutes before noon and sat down, just in time to catch the midday gun outside. Wonderful timing. We had water to drink, and ordered promptly.

Snack Platter ($118) included shrimp cakes, fish cakes, spring rolls and satay skewers and calamari rings
Raw Beef Noodle Soup ($68) for both of us.

The noodle soup was presented to us with plenty of herbs on the side-- Thai basil crisp and fresh, and wedges of lime tangy and sharp. Bean Sprouts are cool to taste, countering the interlaying spicy taste in the beef broth. As I tasted the broth spoonful by spoonful I detacted an increasing note of spices -- cassia bark, star anise and white peppercorns. The spice blends linger in my mouth as I went through the rice noodles, soft and right to the taste. Unfortunately the beef were not sliced thin enough and overcooked. It's hardly "raw" as indicated in the menu.

$118 is a little steep for a snack platter. Fish cakes are too chewy to the bite with plenty of lemongrass and coriander in it, while shrimp cakes disappointed as it doesn't taste like anything and seemed to have overcooked. Satay suffered from the "cardboard syndrome" as chicken is overcooked once again. Spring rolls are crispy on the outside but couldn't make out what the filling is. I wouldn't say I enjoyed the platter, very much. Calamari rings could be enjoyable treat if it arrived hot on the platter.

The dining room in Rice Paper could be really cool. I suggest diners dress warm. The view is excellent on a nice day. The waiters have a knack on ignoring your orders and waiting time gets lengthy even when there aren't many tables occupied in the restaurant. Make sure you order clearly enough and if food doesn't come according to your orders, don't hesitate to let the waiters know. You shouldn't have to settle for mediocre food. The view though, again, is totally worth it.

個女仔登大對眼話,態度極差兼有D大聲:我幫你地叫左佢快D架啦~錦你重有MUD問題?
佢一講,大家都立即黑面,其中一名友人俾佢撩興把火,咪鬧翻佢:問題?問題咪係太耐囉!!!!

一直未試過這裡,這次排了半小時才到我們,reception只得一人而且很亂,根本不能應付來客。再等好一會才安排入座,叫了的菜,較好的有一個咖喱牛腩,椰味很香。拼盤裡的rice paper帶子卷說不出有什麼好吃(不明為什麼餐廳以其為名),其它的也很普通。普通不是錯,但價格不便宜,服務麻麻,應該不會再來了。

easter外遊前,同細妹去CWBshopping,8點幾,唔駛等位,此分店我第1次黎,裝修幾好,2人叫了:-小食拼盤($118)-有魚餅(好香,有香草味,好食)串燒雞(有肉汁,又滑),庶蝦(唔掂,無味)米紙卷(普通而已,無特別)炸鮮魷(幾好,不厚粉)每款有2件-扎肉撈檬($58/$68,忘記了),我好鍾意食撈檬,每去泰/越式食店,必叫,此店水準麻麻,個汁唔掂好淡-蝦鮮魷甜酸汁炒金邊粉($80),少少甜味,蝦球亦新鮮,但鮮魷無味,但不值$80,一般而已-飯後,每人叫1個sorbet(@$16),rasberry,好酸,mango比較好味我今晚好肚餓,全部清碟,離開時,約9點,門口好多人,如果唔係有credit card discount,我未必會黎,水準普通而已,相信貴在地點/裝修!

本來跟女友到世貿的日本吉列專門店餐廳食吉列豬扒,但無奈七點幾到要等成廿張檯,只好退而求其次到隔離的rice paper一試。帶子芒果紙米卷:見到rice paper個名諗住點都要叫一碟誠下,結果有點失望,個皮比想像中厚,d料又食唔到有帶子同芒果。青咖哩雞:好一般,很多泰式的小店也可以好食過佢,唯一可取之處是有兩個法包來點咖哩食。燒豬仔骨:燒得個樣幾靚,但內裏肉就得少少又太靭,比起之前去荃灣的oliva叫的差很多。食到這裏我們也覺得不夠,只好再點多個餸。荷香小龍蝦飯:我和女友都讚成這個是全晚最好吃的,整個飯由荷葉包住上,飯有荷葉味料又足最後甜品是朱古力疏乎厘,原本沒什麼期望的,再加上等了近二十分鐘才到,但又意想不到的好吃。入口香甜,口感有甜像吃燉蛋,個雲呢拿雪糕都幾得。沒想到這一餐仲貴這係隔離食,雖然起初的食物不太好,還好最後的兩樣都唔錯,算是執返個桔啦。

本來跟女友到世貿的日本吉列專門店餐廳食吉列豬扒,但無奈七點幾到要等成廿張檯,只好退而求其次到隔離的rice paper一試。

帶子芒果紙米卷:見到rice paper個名諗住點都要叫一碟誠下,結果有點失望,個皮比想像中厚,d料又食唔到有帶子同芒果。

青咖哩雞:好一般,很多泰式的小店也可以好食過佢,唯一可取之處是有兩個法包來點咖哩食。

燒豬仔骨:燒得個樣幾靚,但內裏肉就得少少又太靭,比起之前去荃灣的oliva叫的差很多。

食到這裏我們也覺得不夠,只好再點多個餸。

荷香小龍蝦飯:我和女友都讚成這個是全晚最好吃的,整個飯由荷葉包住上,飯有荷葉味料又足

最後甜品是朱古力疏乎厘,原本沒什麼期望的,再加上等了近二十分鐘才到,但又意想不到的好吃。入口香甜,口感有甜像吃燉蛋,個雲呢拿雪糕都幾得。沒想到這一餐仲貴這係隔離食,雖然起初的食物不太好,還好最後的兩樣都唔錯,算是執返個桔啦。

今晚同廿多年無見的小學同學碰面,在銅記轉了數圈最終在Rice Paper落腳。門口易拉架賣點係維港夜景,可惜我們那張檯唔係窗邊位置。環境裝飾尚可,但唔算坐得特別舒服,甚至有點侷促。二個人點了蒸包、蝦餅、牛油果軟殼蟹米紙卷、香茅豬肉撈檬。平心而論蝦餅和豬肉撈檬水準都只算普通,但蒸包及軟殼蟹米紙卷由於餡料十足材料豐富而口感一流,不過個人不大喜歡軟殼蟹放太多炸粉,雖香脆卻油膩。整體而言服務不俗、但價錢略貴。

The same girl waitress served us for the two times we went there, and she certainly deserved a big pat on the back!Food itself was good. The waitress offered very sound advice and efficient service, even when serving a table of 12. Good job!And for the price, we could enjoy the same sea view as Excelsior's! What more could I say?A nice place for some casual dining but affectionate atmospehre!

Went there last friday with my family.I booked a table, 8:30. We arrived at 8:15 and the waitress told us to walk around and come back later coz the customer at our table is paying the bill...so we did and came back at 8:30When we went back, to our surprise, there were lots of ppl waiting there...they also booked 8:30The waitress then gave our table to someone else!! I booked a table, 8:30. We arrived at 8:15 and the waitress told us to walk around and come back later coz the customer at our table is paying the bill...so we did and came back at 8:30

When we went back, to our surprise, there were lots of ppl waiting there...they also booked 8:30

The waitress then gave our table to someone else!! It got me a bit annoyed so i argued with her...she was the one who told me to go walk around, then she turns around to give our table to some other dude! (many other customers waiting were quite angry...there was no lining up system so everyone just crowded around the waitress)

At the end we got our table at 8:45...hai~

We ordered:
Fried 軟殼蟹
(yummy! a bit oily but the taste was great)
生牛肉湯河粉
(i personally enjoyed this very much, though it wasnt a big bowl...soup was quite tasty)
Duck with yellow curry
(I loved this curry! i think the yellow curry is the best; the green and red ones arent that great)
牛油雞翼
(okay la...bit too oily, not enough onion bits for me)
Pork's neck meat
(quite average; nothing special)

Generally the food is quite above average, i will definitely come again but will try to avoid peak hours since their management system is extremely poor!
