是日難得放假,下晝同老公行逛太古城,行到差不多食飯時間,老公話不如搭電車去東大街食飯,我二話不說贊成,因為一來好少去果頭,二來東大街名店林立。去到總站落車,原來老公已一早諗好食咩,咕嚕肉係佢至愛,佢想去皇苑一試招牌菜拔絲骨。既然佢想去食,當然奉陪到底。皇苑地面門口好細,酒樓要行上一層到二樓,行過未必為意。酒樓面積不大,屬於飯店格局,我倆不太肚餓,叫咗兩盅燉湯加兩個餸。根據中醫學不同顏色嘅食物歸屬人體嘅五臟,黑色入腎,咁呢個黑枸杞子燉竹絲雞一定係滋陰補腎。黑杞子同一般紅色杞子食味冇太大分別,雞湯入面除咗黑杞子竹絲雞外仲有瘦肉,雞湯味道鮮美。拔絲係將糖煮至一定嘅濃稠度,再將預先炸好既食物放到入糖漿中,快速攪拌,用筷子挾起食物時可以拉出長長嘅糖絲,通常都喺甜點製作出現,咕嚕肉真係第一次見。咕嚕肉炸得十分鬆脆,同糖槳好夾,連我平日不愛吃咕嚕肉都食上半碟。懷舊拔絲骨用蜜桃片伴碟,甜甜的很匹配。西蘭花大蝦球中嘅蝦球十分爽脆,西蘭花用上有一個份量,味道清爽,十分清宜。飯後甜品奉上南瓜西米露,南瓜味略淡少甜作為免費甜品已經不錯。

Each cube has a nice pink color at the centre.

The macadamia nuts are superrrrrr crunchy and buttery creamy flavours.

The croutons are actually the eggplant/ aubergine coated with flour and deep fried them.

又跟住在筲箕灣的朋友飯聚,今次選擇來到筲箕灣的食街 - 東大街,地鐵出口直達,十分方便!每次都離不開中菜,今次亦一樣,隨意選擇了這間,反正大家未試過麻。《豉汁蒸鱔 $138》豉汁蒸鱔同樣也是超值!份量絕不吝嗇,而且每件都肉厚滑嫩,豉汁能更提味,真是絕配。《兩隻乳鴿 $48 x2》乳鴿眼看比較乾身而且瘦削,但肉質仍然入味。所以如果乳鴿能保持光澤及水潤會比較好。《薑蔥美國桶蠔 $168》以為只有2-3隻怎料有5-6大隻!桶蠔用薑蔥爆香過後十分惹味,每隻都肥美鮮甜,啖啖是肉。環境是比較傳統的茶樓裝修,令我有意欲下次一試午市。
