來筲箕灣《U購select》為家中的小伙子搜購零食,其實每次完成任務後,都會留在東大街覓食。上次吃了《民聲冰室》的鹹蛋蒸肉餅,所以今次就決定揀過另一間食肆。選了這間門外貼滿小菜相片的《皇苑》,沿著樓梯拾級而上,店內地方不大,用餐區以圓檯為主,細看布置,雖然只是一派中式酒樓格局,但地方尚算寬敞,加上裝潢新淨企理,座位亦不覺逼狹。往另一邊轉,發現原來酒家設有一間特大廂房,如果想宴客的話,包咗間房擺番兩、三圍,應該無問題,就算嘈吵一點也不怕影響到其他食客。選了個牆角位置,安坐後先翻開餐簿細閱,菜式分門別類,有皇苑八大名菜、燉湯、魚翅、海鮮、豬肉、牛肉、雞肉、煲仔菜、健康小菜、田園蔬菜及飲品等。至於散張嘅餐牌方面,選擇就包括有孖寶至尊、秋冬精選、皇牌推介、足料燉湯、拿手小菜、清蒸海上鮮、新鮮蔬菜、新口味推介等等,實在多不勝數,未能盡錄。侍應姐姐推介「孖寶至尊」,其實我亦早有此意,皆因清蒸一份沙巴仔都要 $108,現在一個價錢,就已經包兩款小菜,雖然未至於抵到笑,但細心一計,即會發現價錢較散點菜式更加划算,一於揀份孖寶再加幾款招牌小菜試試。沙巴仔配蒜香BB鴿2隻 ($168) 率先上桌,雖然叫做

沙巴仔配蒜香BB鴿2隻 ($168) 率先上桌,雖然叫做沙巴仔,但都唔算細條,絕對足夠兩人享用。先挾起魚肉一試,火候掌握得宜,魚肉入口柔嫩鮮美,魚味不俗,而且肉質富彈性,只是稍嫌魚皮咬落膠質感不高。早兩天同事見完營養師後,獲告知魚類所含的飽和脂肪雖然極低,但魚頭的膽固醇含量則頗高,皆因魚頭包括魚唇、魚腮和魚腦等,這些部分都是膽固醇的「集中地」,只宜淺嘗!

至於2隻BB鴿,Size 雖然是有點瘦弱嬌小,而且肉汁不多,但外皮入口金黃乾爽,加上入面嘅鴿肉,食落酥香,夠嫩滑,就算一人一隻亦不覺膩。

接著的懷舊拔絲骨 ($98),一上檯就已經即時傳來陣陣濃烈的醋香,細心一看,原來大廚先用青紅椒及洋蔥墊底,並以蜜桃圍邊,再於拔絲骨面頭灑上芝麻,睇得出下過一番功夫,擺碟夠曬精美。馬上挾起一件試試,不但可以拉出糖絲,而且酸甜平衡得剛好,吃起來沒半點嗆喉,糖醋汁味道適中,外層香口微脆,內裡啖啖嫩肉,稍微放涼後依然脆口帶肉汁,非常美味,但緊記不可凍食,因為糖漿遇冷後會變硬。

筆者愛吃炸物,選了客椒鹽鮮魷 ($78),椒鹽鮮魷雖然是最尋常不過的小菜,但要做得好,其實相當困難,每次點吃,不是粉漿太厚,就是椒鹽味不足。幸好這道鮮魷水準唔錯,咬落彈性十足,帶脆口,不太腍亦不太韌,而且粉漿極佳,只是薄薄的一層,入口金黃鬆化又不死實,香脆好吃!

吃過幾道濃味食物,最後決定簡簡單單,點客蒜茸芥蘭 ($60) 來平衡一吓,芥蘭份量不少,非常新鮮,外表碧綠,而且色澤油亮,入口爽脆,清甜而不苦澀。

吃過飯後,原來還有甜品贈送,而這晚的糖水南瓜西米露,筆者對南瓜雖然興趣不大,但呷一口,糖水嘅質感頗軟滑,而且西米亦沒煮得過腍,入口清甜滋潤,唔錯,為圓滿的晚飯作結。

安格斯牛肉粒分量足夠, 啲牛肉粒質地嫩滑,有咬口,彈牙,口感好正,食嘅時候冇黐牙亦都唔難咬同埋食完之後唔會有殘渣. 佢嘅配菜茄子亦都好好食,  我自己本人覺得呢一道菜好適合送飯食!

內容有蛋白,牙菜,粉絲同埋蝦米,仲有一啲好細粒嘅蔥粒炒出嚟嘅

我覺得做得十分之精彩,蛋白炒得好有蛋嘅香味同埋好滑口,櫻花蝦嘅份量亦都幾多下,櫻花蝦好有蝦既香味,而呢一道菜好適合送白飯,但我哋今次用餐冇叫到白飯就咁食都覺得好正!

飯後餐廳仲有奉送紅豆沙作為甜品去埋齋, 呢度嘅紅豆沙唔會做得太濃亦都唔會太甜! 食完晚飯之後用佢嚟賣尾真係啱啱好!

是生炒骨的變奏版, 很少地方可以吃到,夾起拔絲骨來發覺真有拉絲效果, 汁料濃稠掛在肉骨上, 咬落外層微脆, 味道酸酸甜甜, 肉質鬆化有新鮮肉香, 真令人一口接一口食不停呢, 再夾底下的洋蔥, 甚為爽甜, 與別不同, 拔絲骨果然是來皇苑必食的, 別的地方吃不到, 令人回味無窮。

本來還怕一隻波士頓龍蝦不夠三人分, 因西餐常吃到的波士頓龍蝦很小隻, 幸好在這裡的龍蝦好夠分量, 肉夠多, 三個人食也足夠分享, 上湯味道濃香而不過咸, 龍蝦肉超級彈牙爽口又夠鮮味, 很驚訝一間小酒樓可以做到這樣的水準, 原來用了游水鮮活龍蝦來做的, 難怪了, 而伊麵吸收了龍蝦和上湯精華也特別美味。

沙巴仔該是小的沙巴龍躉吧, 雖說是較小但也足夠3-4人吃的, 蒸魚最重要是火喉, 這裡就做得好了, 魚肉狀態超滑溜, 又有淡淡的魚香, 有很多魚我也不吃, 會嫌腥和肉不夠滑, 但沙巴龍躉卻是我的愛魚之一, 又滑又沒有細骨, 吃多多也可以。

人不可以貌相, 鴿也是呢, 一看這些鴿, 樣子像瘦又乾, 不抱期望下, 卻發現質素有驚喜, BB鴿是每日限量, 保証新鮮, 說是BB肉質果真夠嫩滑, 真正外脆內軟熱辣辣, 配上少少椒鹽更惹味, 不過標題所示的蒜香就不太吃得出來了。

 有時候出外吃飯食完回家會好口渴, 但在皇苑食就沒有這個問題, 餐廳最常在湯裡加味精, 喝口湯就知道, 這裡用的都是真材實料, 沒有味精, 用料尤其新鮮, 特別是海鮮, 不輸給著名吃海鮮的地方, 每道菜都精采, 今晚本人最愛是懷舊拔絲骨和龍蝦伊麵, 好想再食呢! 皇苑是一間有實力的小店, 新開張幾個月, 用心經營, 有水準, 強烈推介!

The Chicken was well cooked and the meat was tender and there was also a little bit of chicken oil at the bottom to keep the chicken juicy. The portion was huge as well, and if I didn't look carefully, I would've thought it was a whole chicken!

The Steamed Sabah Grouper was another success because it was perfectly cooked so that the meat could be easily separated from the bone, yet still maintaining a smooth texture. The soy sauce was not too overwhelmingly salty, which I thought went really well with the fish

The third dish we ordered was the Nostalgic Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs ($98). The sweet and sour sauce was consistent and thick, creating a stretchy texture. The crispy exterior of the meat contrasted well with its soft, meaty interior. Definitely a dish for sharing as it can get quite heavy.

We also decided to order the soup. The first being the Braised Chicken with Black Wolfberry Soup ($68) and the second was Stewed Pork Lung and Vegetable with Almond Juice ($58). Personally, I preferred the prior because it was a lot more flavourful, but they were both very delicious in general. I recommend orderly a large bowl instead if you have more people as it's cheaper that way.

不論大枱小枱,飯後枱枱都有甜品贈送,的確很窩心。可能大家會覺得紅豆沙($0)很平凡,但偏偏是我們一家的喜愛,補血健脾,是中式糖水中的好選擇。入口暖笠笠,雖沒有煲至起沙,但內有不少腍身粉綿的紅豆,啖啖紅豆的香甜,甜度亦合宜,不錯!若然加埋蓮子陳皮就更完美。

有個內地朋友黎左香港,上網睇睇下video見到個飲食節目,突然之間心血來潮想食柭絲骨。之後我地都好肚餓,想行下搵間又近又平又好味既既野,不過都沒諗過會有拔絲骨。落左樓下抱住搵食心態周圍行下,隨便搵食,竟然真係見到酒樓有「金線拔絲骨」立即去見識下。見到佢周圍好似普通酒樓甘,但呢間原來都系新式粵菜黎,菜單都幾特別,好多五同既菜式。「金線拔絲骨」$108有甜甜酸酸的感覺。糖醋汁張每粒肉都沾上醬汁 。 見到拉起一條條絲時個下,真系好過引。因為我哋只係得2個人,其實都沒諗過黎酒樓食飯竟然食到甘出色既餸,不過2個人食五到好多樣所以只係叫左2個餸,好可惜。因為仲有好多想試好岩送飯「西班牙黑豚豬仔骨」$138係正宗既黑毛豬呀~一定一定要記得點佢個醬。點左好食好多!竟然比我係酒樓食到呢個質素既中菜,太開心了

一家人過冬 ,當然選離家近又方便的食肆啦,最後決定選筲箕灣東大街 皇苑酒樓拔絲骨名副其實 ,乳猪香脆而不膩(我3歲的女吃得不停口)紅瓜子好事成雙,清蒸蟹鮮甜可口,看 一盤燙渣就知味道如何啦,料足同埋粉腸特別 特別好食😋😋😋最後全家人都食得盡興 玩得哈皮😄😄😄
