Salad:
There was a choice of gado gado and shredded chicken salad, I chose the gado gado as I haven’t tried it before.
Basically it was lettuce, cucumber, tofu, beanshoots, potato with sweet curry sauce.
The curry sauce was spicy.
Overall, I found it quite home-made, anyone could have cut some salad vegetables and added sauce on top.

Snack platter:
This was totally boring, it had chicken wings, fried pork chop, squid and prawn cake, fried dumplings.
I felt this was so Chinese. Although the portion was big, I felt that it just acted as a filler.
The chicken wings didn’t taste as good as the previous visit.

Mains:
For the mains, the choice was even more boring especially the vegetables, stir fried choi sum with garlic was so Chinese so I didn’t pick that. Same with sweet and sour pork chop, which is probably the same pork chop in the starter but with sweet n sour sauce.

In the end chose Assam chicken and Buk Kut Teh.

The assam chicken also looked very amateur, it was sweet and spicy, the sauce just tasted exactly like the sauce for the gado gado.
The Buk Kut The tasted how it should, however the meat was slightly too tough and dry.

在九龍城找晚飯吃,見這小店環境簡潔,便入內一試。我與男友2人點了- 招牌炒粉連熱飲 ($38) ,炒粉有蝦有肉有菜,有水準的炒粉,好味道,熱飲選了蒸餾咖啡,咖啡不錯- 馬來亞參蝦套餐連飯連熱飲 ($68),蝦的味道炒得很好,還下了羊角豆做配菜,好味兼有益,熱飲選了阿華田,大杯兼好味- 加多加多沙律 ($20) ,有菜有蛋有薯仔粒,喜歡這個沙律的醬料味道這個晚飯共126元,很滿意,會再去食。

最近發現在南角道開了一所馬來麵店,名叫"蝦蝦麵"的。龍城區內印象中是極少有此類店子。多一點不同菜系的小館子,對我們這羣饞嘴人來說,總是一樁好事....店名叫得做"蝦蝦麵",本應叫蝦湯麵最為正路,但最後吃的,卻是更正路的馬來海鮮喇沙....湯底呈紅黃顏色,油分甚多,看上去好像蠻對版的。吃落則覺辣度頗足,有少許椰味,但卻沒有了香葉帶來的香氣及海鮮的甜味;配料則只是些如魚片、小蝦、荳角及荳卜一類的"行"嘢。小蝦隻的肉是有點脢之餘,也是連腸亦沒有除清的;獅菴固之然沒有影踪,但連人工蟹柳亦出動到,對小弟而言,是絕對不能喚之為一碗好的喇沙了....可幸的是麵底是我最喜好的滲滲兩溝,加了分....反而跟餐的小菜心十分的嫩爽清甜。淋上熟豉油吃,當然比放一大堆蠔油上去好太多....吃過普通過普通的製成品,開始有點懷念灣仔"沙巴"弄的大作了....

九龍城試食第四波, 連食三家己經有點飽, 但看到此店的門面有食評介紹及想念Laksa便進來一試.賣相可以, 一吃之下, 麵及米線還可以, 湯底完全不行, 一點辣味也沒有, 有一點椰香, 但真的不行, 相比在馬來西亞吃到的完全沒法比, 價錢真的差很遠, 這樣的質素這樣的價錢.....XYZ

星期日,因事忙及身體不適,所以沒有回教會結果去了九龍城午饍原本計劃去譚點,試試OR人氣急升的新派點心......但一看到門口的人龍便立即打"退堂鼓"啦.......之後便過了對面街,打算去食拉麵.......過了馬路, 看到這間門面企理的馬來西亞特色的"蝦蝦麵" ,就停低我倆的腳步,望望門口的餐牌及剪報推介,之後再細看入面不太多人, 便走入去了~我們兩個人,叫了下面這些食物:招牌"參參"蝦蝦麵------麵底以油麵及米粉兩種麵混合而成~ 米粉爽口,湯底可惜略鹹.....但米粉索湯後口感一流。內中材料OK 啦,有: 豬肉、蝦仁, 魚旦片、雞旦半及帶子粒等等....再加上炒香的蔥段.......整體不俗~!!GF 的香茅雞翼蝦麵, 雞翼賣相一般,很厚粉似的....但趁熱偷食了一隻, 發現絕對"跌眼鏡": 香茅味非常濃郁,而且肉質頗嫩,一流~!馬拉盞炒通菜,馬拉盞炒得很香,通菜不會炒得過火~抵讚~串燒雞、豬頸肉各二~豬頸肉燒得頗出色, 不會過火; 唯美中不足的是串燒雞,非常普通.......除餐加錢的龍眼冰(特飲) OK 啦.........其實每間餐廳都差不多啦~GF 的熱檸茶~PS.

On this visit, I went to Sam’s noodles, it was brightly decorated yellow on the outside and inside, the logo has two prawns on it.
It turns out to be Singapore/Malaysian cuisine serving the usual Laksa, Pork rib tea’s and prawn noodles.

Ordered the Laksa with lemongrass chicken wings, and their special fried noodles.

LAKSA
The Laksa arrived, and it was very impressive, because the wings were served on a plate, so that it doesn’t get soggy.
The noodles were soft, but the taste of Laksa in the soup wasn’t apparent, I could only taste the spicyness.
The chicken wings remained crunchy, and were quite a good choice instead of the seafood.
French beans were served with the Laksa which is a first in the shops I have tried so far, although for the Gozen cup noodles, they have freeze-dried french beans in it.

SPECIAL FRIED NOODLES
The noodles were a mix of vermicelli and flat rice noodles fried together. The flat rice noodles and vermicelli were thin in diameter, so they were flavoured easily.
It was not greasy at all, and plenty of other accompaniments such as fish ball slices, roast pork etc.
Overall this was very good and the mix of two different noodles fried together was interesting too.

Both the noodles included a drink of either Coffee or Tea.

On my next visit, I plan to try the prawn noodles and see how they compare to the Prawn noodle shop, but so far, the fried noodles are a must eat item.

我一段時間沒去九龍城, 剛巧路過位置比較偏新開張的蝦蝦麵,三點幾歡樂時光來到, 客人比較少, 想吃碗海鮮喇沙, 兩人叫了一個加多加多和海鮮喇沙面加多加多-花生沾醬不夠濃郁海鮮喇沙面-賣相不錯, 喇沙材料有蝦,豆卜,魚片, 魷魚鬚,豆角作配料-湯底辣中帶陣陣香味, 椰味濃香,質感香滑, 但有點太鹹整體而言環境整潔、服務態度有禮、水準只是平平而已。

, 難得呢度開了間蝦麵專門店, 是日趁阿爸阿媽落街買嘢食,「搭單」托佢買了碗「蝦蝦麵」試試.

打開碗蓋, 立即聞到好濃蝦湯味, 不過湯底飲落有點太鹹, 味道比灣仔嗰間同類食店 (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=1908230) 差一截, 可幸 MSG 度唔高; 配料就有蝦, 帶子, 豬肉片, 魚片及烚蛋, 最欣賞魚片及的蝦, 前者香口鬆化, 後者已去殼「斬頭」食得方便, 蝦肉亦結實爽口, 30 幾蚊有咁嘅貨色算不錯; 麵底就揀了油麵, 不過煮得有點太軟腍, 亦帶少少去唔清的「油」味
, 早知食米粉啦.

另仲有一小兜辣醬, 倒落湯內得, 就咁用嚟蘸嘢食亦得, 味道幾辣, 又帶點酸, 乜咁似印尼 sambal sauce?

原來湯麵仲跟一杯飲品, 阿爸就幫我叫了凍奶茶: 係港式, 勁多冰, 飲落幾甜, 不過茶味夠又無澀味, non-茶記嚟講收貨有餘了.

小試牛刀雖然未至於食到嘻嘻蝦蝦嘩哈哈, 不過印象唔算差, 有機會再來堂食試試其他食物吧.

今天同大哥嚟到呢間舖頭食午餐,新開張一個月,位置比較偏,客人比較少。兩人叫了一個蝦蝦面同海鮮喇沙面,大家share食,試下唔同口味。蝦蝦面,湯底帶濃濃蝦味,有點辣,味道唔錯,配料方面有帶子、蝦、旦、魚片、豬肉。海鮮喇沙面,湯底辣中帶陣陣香味,配上蝦、魚片、魷魚鬚等料,相當不錯。見到餐牌尚有一些精緻小炒,如炸蠔餅、加多加多、串燒,感覺賣相不錯,下次兩兄弟定必再找時間逐逐擊破。綜合而言,環境整潔、伙計態度有禮、面湯底一流、材料不過不失,是一間可以encore的店舖。

又試了加多加多,切法不俱一格新派賣相,建議店方統一切法,口感會更一致,花生沾醬不夠濃郁,味道太健康了,不夠開心,令寫意的歡樂時光,留下一點遺憾。更多蝦湯麵分不日公映享@http://foodxfile.blogspot.com/
