唔記得幾多年前,應該都有十年,去過旺角中心對面同埋深水埗的生龍清湯腩,當時嘅清湯牛腩同咖哩牛腩簡直一絕,又夠辣,雖然稍為貴啲,但食完會再嚟幫襯。今日路經荃灣,見有間生龍,即管入去試下,清湯腩味道平平無奇,煎鯪魚餅太淋完全唔得,雲吞麵嘅雲吞一咬好散,食唔到有蝦味,凍咖啡味道一般。剛剛睇完openrice的分店,原來只剩兩間分店,睇嚟想繼續在香港生存,應該要好好提升水準,始終價錢比一般麵店貴,味道要有番咁上下才會吸引客人重臨。

唔記得幾多年前,應該都有十年,去過旺角中心對面同埋深水埗的生龍清湯腩,當時嘅清湯牛腩同咖哩牛腩簡直一絕,又夠辣,雖然稍為貴啲,但食完會再嚟幫襯。今日路經荃灣,見有間生龍,即管入去試下,清湯腩味道平平無奇,煎鯪魚餅太淋完全唔得,雲吞麵嘅雲吞一咬好散,食唔到有蝦味,凍咖啡味道一般。剛剛睇完openrice的分店,原來只剩兩間分店,睇嚟想繼續在香港生存,應該要好好提升水準,始終價錢比一般麵店貴,味道要有番咁上下才會吸引客人重臨。

這裡出名有Auntie語氣麻麻,有食客劣評,但肯定未至於鬧人 ...至於Menu,挺豐富,選擇多,sidedish品種貼地。我們點了一個油菜“西洋菜加腩汁”,勁呀,西洋菜雖然當造也好吃,其實很少茶餐廳會用它做油菜,又難洗,又只可以存半天,這餐廳肯用西洋菜造油菜,用心、貼地,但那清湯腩汁太肥,雖然夠香,十分邪惡!再來一客地道sidedish,“煎釀尖椒”,不會一口粉,百份百魚肉。“金牌咖哩牛腩飯”,牛腩的確好吃,咖喱汁更是一絕,但跟那腩汁一樣,“肥”!

星期日,諗住去城門水塘行下,去到荃灣差唔多中午12點幾,就喺對面先搵間店舖吃飯再出發。之前喺旺角幫襯過”生龍”,今次就試下荃灣店。估唔到星期日中午時段都唔太多人,唔使等位可以直接入座。1. 清湯牛腩河($52),河粉幼細,不會叠埋一齊,而牛腩比較碎,份量一般。2. 蕃茄豬潤牛肉米線($50),蕃茄湯底無特別,蕃茄味唔特出,似煮豬潤同牛肉時一齊加落去滾幾滾。整體來講,牛腩真係好一般,而蕃茄湯底亦不見得特別,下次去到兆和街可以選擇其他食店了。
