作為荃灣最具名氣的清湯腩食店之一,生龍可說是一個時代的標記;維持著傳統氣息茶餐廳的裝潢而整潔有致,又能保持著出品高質食物,難怪其人氣長居高處;放假的這天早上,趁天氣尚晴約好友在葵青打網球來舒展一下筋骨,完場後當然想吃一頓豐富下午茶來填填肚子;好友提議到荃灣區,且要大份量食物,我就突然想到生龍清湯腩;確定後就搭巴士前往,在沙咀道落車穿過眾安街來到兆和街,行前一點就見到頗為醒目的金漆招牌--生龍清湯腩;進場坐下之後,從枱面玻璃板下到放在枱面上已過膠的厚厚的彩版餐牌,再到牆上亦貼滿手寫款餐牌彩紙,加上餐枱凳的款式與舖排,在燈光映照下,突出了屬於餐廳自然而獨有的懷舊風格!與好友都不約而同相中了至尊套餐的B餐,加上一個很特別的小食--香辣烏雞腳,共有4款菜加主食,就馬上落單;小食首先登場,隱藏在油綠芫茜下的香辣烏雞腳已透出一陣麻辣的香氣;雖然外形漆黑一片,但因已去骨,咀嚼起來是完全的爽脆彈牙,免卻吐骨的麻煩!而香辣醬油雖只滲在雞腳的表面,但味道豐富足以提升烏雞腳的味道與層次,甚有開胃之效!時菜魚腩湯有濃郁的胡椒風味,足以令湯中爽滑的鯪魚球祛腥提鮮;本身用魚骨魚腩熬成的湯已很鮮味,加之鯪魚球的鮮味
