檬粉端上桌後第一個感覺是它的材料擺得相當工整,無論是主食的豬扒或是配菜如紅白蘿蔔絲、青瓜絲、莞茜、生菜絲以及碎花生樣樣放齊而且新鮮企理,絕不是亂堆一通,值得一讚。倒進魚露將所有配料連同檬粉伴勻吃,加上香脆的豬扒醃得非常入味,肉質稔而不韌,光是這一味已很okay了

先讚吓個粉,湯夠熱,多葱多辣椒,但僅此而已。湯頭太鹹同味精,完全飲唔到牛肉鮮味,牛肉無味又唔鬆化,食得好吃力,檬粉煮得太腍,一夾就散,唯有撥落匙羹食,而且無其他香料例如九層塔嘅香味,已經唔可以稱得上係合格嘅越南粉。

椰汁冰,顧名思義就係椰汁加冰,用糖調味,但呢杯嘢冰唔夠多,椰汁有色無味,仲要熱辣辣沖落杯冰度,其實就係飲緊一杯涼嘅淡椰汁味飲品,只有死甜,沖呢杯嘢嘅人可謂藝高人膽大,就都夠膽比客飲。

一分錢一分貨我名,但同樣嘅料只要烹調得宜,一樣可以做出好食品,但人為失誤導致浪費食物就令我深痛惡絶,希望厨師正視問題,莫因下午茶利潤少就等閒視之。

身為主角的燒豬肉水準也不賴 ---- 一嗅下去隱然便能感受到燒烤帶來的焦香,咬下去肉是爽彈而不韌硬且醃得非常的入味,最重要是就連邊位亦燒得帶丁點脆口的。這樣的把一塊甜而惹香的肉放入口,感覺真幸福....

下趟再來的話,小弟一定要試試大菜才行....

是日去鴨寮街買野路經過見到有間越南野就入去試下,點知有驚喜,食越南野想知水準叫個湯粉就知 叫左碗香芧雞翼湯河{本來想要金邊粉,不過賣曬為有要河粉}凍檸水走冰。5分鐘左右D野就黎,洗試左啖湯先入口甘香清甜有當年淘大越南灣既水準!不過雞翼就炸到太乾身,有機會再試埋豬扒好似有法包食,都系果句下次再試啦

It was late afternoon so we ordered from the afternoon tea set.

Raw Beef Pho ($32). The beef was tender and the noodles were not mushy. A good sign as I find a lot of places, the noodles are mushy for some reason. The broth had a bit too much MSG and didn't taste like beef broth at all.

Mini Pork Banh Mi ($25). As an afternoon tea set, they offer a mini banh mi. I chose pork. This was very mini as it was the size of my hand. But for a tea set, it was a decent portion size. The pork was tender and tasted pretty good. The banh mi included lettuce and few slices of cucumber that wasn't pickled. There was no real mix of tart and spice. So this tasted more like a pork sandwich that you can get from Macau. I think they used the same bun.

Ice Longan Drink. A drink is included with the tea sets but if you want ice, it's an extra $2. So, I chose this as my drink. It was super sweet and tasted more like sugar syrup than longan. Wasn't very good.

I asked for a rare beef pho with a iced longan drink for the afternoon set. It took 10mins for the noodles to arrive. Good thing the aircon worked. I took a sip of the broth, and it was clear and sweet however I could taste a little MSG. It was a huge bowl of flat rice noodles and ample beef slices. It was topped with a big heap of spring onions, sliced onions and mint leaves. I mixed in the provided chili for an extra kick. I asked for extra mint and the staff obliged. Top marks. There were a handful pieces of longan fruit in the drink and the syrup tasted a little too sweet for my liking.

Will visit again when I'm in SSP and looking for a restaurant with clean environment
