I think they avoid using ingredients / condiments that are too strong in favour so I felt the meal does “cleanse” my body and soul! LOL BTW, the bar looks AMAZING (and with the Harbour view of coz) - i’m going for some Makegeolli next time. HKD 258 for the lunch menu with mushroom + tofu + mains and desserts!

很少見到這個配搭,泡菜包裹著豆腐!
泡菜與一般的不同,這是完全不辣的泡菜,鹹鹹酸酸。
而裏面的韓式凍豆腐則有點像布包豆腐的口感,不過豆味比一般吃到的更爲濃郁!

個人很喜歡這個豆腐菜式,一整磚的豆腐沉浸在甜甜的韓式大醬醬汁之中。
以前不太喜歡吃大醬,因爲總覺得很鹹,但這個大醬醬汁很有驚喜!
因爲惹味得來不會太重口味,而且還有點甜甜的味道,配搭清淡的豆腐很合適,還有旁邊的炆雜菜很入味很好吃。

主菜方面我選的是五色蔬菜拌飯。

Honestly, everything looked simple but most of them literally blew my mind with their complexity in terms of of flavors. For instance, the amuse bouche that’s made with a piece of mushroom tasted both sour and bitter. It was steamed to give it a very tender and juicy texture and the way it’s topped with sesame made it so refreshingly delicious.

And out of the main dishes, my favorite would be the sweet and spicy mushroom. It basically was the Cantonese sweet and spicy chicken, but with mushrooms, so it’s apparently healthier and less greasy. The mushrooms were very crispy and if you found them too spicy, you could mix them with the next dish which was the fried rice with kimchi.

The interior of the restaurant was amazing and the service was great too, the staff would always introduce and explain what each dish was and how to eat it. However, the food itself was very bland and flavourless. The japchae I ordered that came in my set meal had no flavour at all and just tastes like oil. 主菜方面,少不了韓國菜較為健康嘅菜式— 韓式拌飯,呢個五色蔬菜拌飯顏色較之前嘅菜式鮮豔,底下唔係白飯而係黃色嘅飯,食落味道無咩大分別,質感幾彈牙,食前要倒入辣椒醬,跟住將所有食材如茄子、紅蘿蔔絲、菠菜、昆布等拌勻,辣椒醬味其實唔太明顯,反而茄子味道更加重,相信之前有熬煮過,豐富口感,好食~

There's a contrasting taste with the soup and the rice. The soup is thick in consistency due to the taro and it tastes extremely healthy. The wrapped rice, on the other hand, is sour and gives a burst of taste to your palate.

So the gelatinised mushroom terrine is made from clear soup broth. The mushroom inside is thinly sliced and you can be assured that every bite includes some of it. The sauces at the side include Korean gochujang, sesame sauce, as well as pesto sauce.

Ooo, this one was definitely different to the rest. Whilst the rest of the menu was fairly mild, this was a firecracker. The deep fried mushrooms are covered in sweet and spicy sauce that at first seem innocent, but soon, explodes into a kind of spiciness that is reminiscent of Korean rice cakes.

紅棗玉桂糖水煮香梨:擺盤好特別,就算香梨用糖水煮過也不會太甜,保留香梨天然清甜!紅棗和藍莓增加不同口感和味道,而且旁邊的柚子果醬非常清香!


韓國花茶及精緻甜點:這期的韓國花茶是紅菜頭番茄茶,本來覺得用作做鹹食的食材做成茶會很奇怪,但非常特別,但味道偏酸!精緻甜點是果凍和不含蛋奶的brownie。果凍清甜,brownie可可味道非常濃郁,上面的cream是純植物性的!
