約咗人響附近, 又未夠鐘, 諗住搵間嘢坐低飲杯嘢嚟等。 其實因為武漢肺炎,周圍d食市都冇乜人, 咁我又見唔係好肚餓, 就入starbucks食少少嘢, 諗住自己嚟個christmas tea, 點知堅瀨晒嘢。。。。。。。 我叫咗杯朱古力, 係佢嘅signature chocolate, 個staff仲好似好細心咁問我要唔要cream, 我話要, 點知坐低一打開, d cream少到冇咁滯囉。。。。 杯嘢都成40 蚊,仲要係得個甜字, 仲叫自己做signature, 佢醜唔醜架?!我仲叫咗個earl grey chiffon蛋糕, 諗住見佢幾靚, 嘩!!!! 點知真係伏到不得了!!! 個cake好似唔知放咗幾耐咁, 我expect嘅chiffon cake係鬆軟嘅,濕潤嘅, 佢個cake都痴線架, 硬架!!! 仲衰過響便利店買幾蚊舊嘅雪芳雪糕, 佢呢個係賣成36 蚊架!!! 原來真係得個樣, 佢件cake又唔係大, 但係外面就好似放咗好耐乾晒水咁, 又硬又鞋, 入面真係叫軟少少嘅, 都唔知有冇1cm蛋糕。。。。 真係食到媽媽聲!!!都唔知係咪佢而家冇乜生意,d cake賣唔晒就賣隔夜嘢, 真係堅乾, 又乾又硬, 好難食, 仲衰過杯朱古力 呢d鋪都真係唔好再幫襯!!! continue reading

The counter staff continued chatting even though I had been standing in front of her ready to made the order. I repeated my chipotle chicken toastie 3 times since she did not quite understand which toastie I wanted, and she was still chatting with the two other staff next to her. I told her I wanted it "toasted" so she placed it into the heater/oven. It came out as refridgerated cold after. TBH that was simple and I do not quite understand how that went wrong, except that the staff was unattentive to customers and kept chatting along the way. continue reading

On such a hot summer day, the best place to have a good rest after a long walk would definitely be taking a comfortable seat in the Starbucks Coffee shop at Alexander House, Central.After having several delicious freshly made croissants (please read from my previous post), my wife and I walked all the way from Wanchai to Central. Our tired legs started to ring the bell when we got to Alexander House. Without much hesitations, we have got into a huge Starbucks shop on the second floor of the building. Both of us have decided to try something we have never had before. I have chosen a Hojicha Frappuccino and my wife purchased an Ice Shaken Strawberry Green Tea Lemonade.On the very first sip of my Hojicha Frappuccino, it was fabulous. It cools my body down immediately. The taste of the hojicha was great. It was not as strong as their other signature frappuccinos, such as, Caramel, Java Chip and Double Chocolaty Chip. With a little whip cream on the top, it added a little sweetness, creamy flavour. When it got to the last sip, however, it was full of ice and water. Nonetheless, I would give this a 4.5/5 ratings.The Ice Shaken Strawberry Green Tea Lemonade, on the other hand, had a fruity sour taste. At the beginning, I could not tell if it was made of strawberry. After having a few more sip, I could slow tell strawberry was added in there. As it was made of lemonade, a little sour was a must. 早餐不知吃什麼好,隨便走進Starbucks,食物櫃的Chocolate Chip Muffin ($18)看似吸引, 便點了一件試試Muffin看似很濃朱古力,加熱後朱古力微溶,甜度剛好,不會太膩。可是蛋糕糕身質感鬆散,咬下時蛋糕碎會散滿周圍,有點麻煩。 continue reading

Spinach Ricotta PieThis pie has a great taste of spinach, and its pastry encasing is flaky and thin, and crispy round the edges - just the way I like it. The ricotta, on the other hand, is rather weak in taste, but it gives the pie filling a good texture. Being a cheese fan, it would be great if the pie could be cheesier! continue reading
