呢次lunch叫左個咖哩牛柳意,意粉旁邊有薯菜賣相可以,但係牛柳似厚切牛扒多啲,帶點韌。咖喱汁味道正常,薯仔都一般入味。以折實$70包湯同熱飲黎講,性價比較同類茶餐廳略低。作為中學飯堂呢度梗係滿載開心回憶。闊別五年,餐牌設計依舊,主要有ABC三個餐。我朋友都叫咗個牛油薯條,不過較為纖幼,幼麥當勞嗰隻少少。侍應講嘢都係一樣中氣十足,食客唔多但有催客落單嘅feel。基於食物質素一般,扒王都係食情懷。但事過境遷,舊伙記咁啱不在,有啲可惜。 continue reading

"久違了~扒王之王" 依句真係事實,自從家住荃灣嘅時候經常食喺愉景新城斜對面間扒王執左之後,都冇再食過扒王之王。大慨係疫情前嘅近年香港經濟順景,港人對扒餐要求漸漸提高,港式扒餐逐漸沒落,唔少傳統港式扒房都愈執愈少,勉強叫做有一兩間會有少許革新,再開分店。是日喺苦思良久之下並受同伴建議,終於第一次黎香港碩果僅存嘅扒王之王食早餐,估唔到都真係會有"驚喜"。喜者,一打開餐牌,嘩,乜個早餐餐牌都咁豐富丫。喺連鎖快餐店求其食個縮水早餐都要40蚊左右嘅情況底下,依度係貴少少,但至少又扒又包仲有餸有麵,點睇都唔似係縮水早餐。繼續強調返本人係選擇困難症末期患者,點解?因為我揀食牛扒早餐定什扒早餐都諗左10分鐘都仲未決定到,最後必殺技係叫個侍應埋黎落單先決定到食什扒早餐。好,野食上枱,港式style,睇落正常食落出事,首先係間餐廳冷氣太勁,食客相對太少,野食野飲好快就凍冰冰熟蛋冇乜味,老晒牛油方包,正常,冇exptectation,茶記嘅最普通質素雞肉腸,老到皺晒皮牛扒,有筋又老,勝在份量足雞扒,一個字,老2塊扒都係純粹靠個汁俾返D味煙火雞絲公仔麵,又咸又老,過火公仔麵,少許浸到發脹嘅感覺總結:唯一吸引之處真係份量同價錢相對平,但問題係咁嘅質素,真係難D再黎食,其實食材應該唔成問題,問題係點樣處理食材,是日係週末,食客亦唔係多,其實有冇必要追求快餐店嘅上菜速度? 我真係唔介意等多10分鐘俾廚師即叫即整我個早餐,但我真係唔想食一個全部野食都過晒火嘅早餐,明明成個早餐份量係好豐富,但食完個心仲係好空虛。細細個仲讀緊書嘅時候適逢經濟不景氣,尤似今日兩餸飯大行其道,是日再食扒王更勾起當年週末經常獨自一人買扒王嘅午餐特價飯盒,除我以外亦有不少老人家購買類似飯盒,只係肉食獸如我獨愛16蚊一盒燒汁豬扒腸仔飯,至今仍點滴在心頭,若餐廳能見此食評,望能改善食物質素為首要目標,其次望能考慮重推平價飯盒,惠及眾多沙田市民。 continue reading

細細個中學時代..尚算中價位既扒王之王..執執下..已經得返沙田最後呢一間..食既只係回憶..味道只係一般茶餐廳既水準了..今日就同朋友黎呢度食個lunch..回憶下想當年既感覺午市推介都有好多唔同種類我地就比呢兩個吸引住..忌廉湯及餐包湯偏小小咸..有洋蔥既香同朋友share一半扒食緊先記得影相美國和牛就真係食唔出..因為都唔太淋反而個BB肉眼就唔錯..但兩隻食落去個牛既質地都好普通..用料完全係茶記感覺..食唔出「扒房」味道.. continue reading

因為剛好在沙田工作,無意中發現原來全香港還剩下最後一間分店。我心想:「已經剩下最後一間,理論上,這公司應該會將結業的分店的租金成本轉嫁給食物上吧?」 於是乎,我給它最後一次機會,結果令人完全失望!🤬 侍應生反應慢,餐廳盲點多,我舉手很久也沒有人向我回應。 我點了B餐,西梅燒豬扒配薯菜,外觀看上非常大份,但一切開才知道,原來這塊豬扒比紙還要薄!🤬 豬扒旁邊的配菜, 薯條看上去是死黃色, 分分鐘用了萬年油炸出來!🤬 旁邊的豆角紅蘿蔔看上去是隔夜蔬菜,色澤非常暗啞! 豬扒整塊吃完也沒覺得特別, 而且連配菜吃完也不覺得飽! 結帳時也要60多元! 完全不值這個價錢!🤬 簡單來說, 這所餐廳, “裝修一流,食物九流“! 完全不明白為何公司還要留著最後一間分店! 還可以生存到今日! 這樣的食物質素理論上應該快快結業算吧了!😤 continue reading
