二月某天,往中環辨點事,之後當然要醫肚啦!腳隨心走,心隨意行,忽然發覺只是漫無目的。路過見店名似曾相識,嗯...之前剛剛有集誌介紹,試吓la!老街坊食店,無裝修但人情味濃,坐下不久即有舊街坊來此小敘,一邊吃一邊閒話家常。先來紫菜魚旦米多青,湯味清香,魚旦好爽口,魚味濃但並非彈牙那種。原來有炸魚皮,來一碟!炸得過火兼且沒有謝記或水記那種酥味,可以不試!不如再來一碗淨魚旦...唔......HALL JACK HALL JACK!!!埋單$54.00 食完覺得好開心。

2008年2月24日,新景記聞說牛腩、魚餃、魚蛋都出名,所以叫了一碗四寶河粉,一次可以吃吃其中兩款。除了魚餃和魚蛋,還有牛丸和墨丸。河粉雖然不是很滑的那種,但它很有沙河粉的味道,令人回想從前的味道。牛丸和墨丸都很普通,也不覺得魚餃跟那些坊間冷凍食品有很大分別,可能我不喜歡魚餃皮太厚的緣故。魚蛋有魚味,但有些小骨,吃得不爽。一面吃湯都被粉吸收了,如果可以放多點就更好。

2/2/2007 午好涷的一天~想食d有湯的麵細佬成日介紹我黎呢間食牛肚粗~剛好經過~就入去試下啦~一行四個人~一人一碗我要左牛肚魚片河($24)牛肚味道唔錯~都有好多舊~魚片個皮好重楜椒味~不過都好彈牙~而且好有魚味~不過得果兩三塊~河粉一般啦~生菜都幾生鮮~煮得唔太淋~不過個湯就無咩味~淡淡的~魚皮都幾好食~是酥脆的~不過$10得果少少我試左朋友少少牛腩~就麻麻地啦~有d鞋口~味道都麻麻

剛好經過~就入去試下啦~
一行四個人~一人一碗
我要左牛肚魚片河($24)
牛肚味道唔錯~都有好多舊~
魚片個皮好重楜椒味~不過都好彈牙~
而且好有魚味~不過得果兩三塊~
河粉一般啦~生菜都幾生鮮~煮得唔太淋~
不過個湯就無咩味~淡淡的~
魚皮都幾好食~是酥脆的~不過$10得果少少
我試左朋友少少牛腩~就麻麻地啦~有d鞋口~味道都麻麻

又一個人情陷夜中環可選擇的不多快要重建的結志街人流稀疏就食街頭的魚蛋檔吧牆上的剪報大讚魚蛋「彈牙」就來一碗魚蛋麵可怒也!這種魚蛋也能用彈牙來形容?香港部分飲食傳媒的質素就只限於如此機械式好食= 好有口感好魚蛋= 彈牙的方程式而已..實情是這兒的魚蛋毫不彈牙不過真的很像魚且慢是很有魚味才對不似平常那種像膠又像粉的普通魚蛋湯底非常特別地香再加上鮮胡椒的味道非常香口又不是飴軒(2006-08-09食評)胡椒湯底的那種偏嗆胡椒味辣油據說也很出名的確是好吃的不過不算是超班吧腐乳通菜滿滿一座山似的物價高昂的今天已是十分豪氣及腰的紙皮石牆手寫的水牌和帶雪花的亞視韓劇十足六七十年代的味道市建局可以保留到這種風味嗎?

不過真的很像魚
且慢
是很有魚味才對

又不是飴軒(2006-08-09食評)胡椒湯底的那種偏嗆胡椒味
辣油據說也很出名
的確是好吃的
不過不算是超班吧

物價高昂的今天已是十分豪氣

來這裡吃麵也是盲摸摸摸到的。未坐低已有人問吃甚麼,看了牆上餐牌,叫了牛筋麵和淨魚蛋加油菜。麵質都幾好,冇乜鹼水味,牛筋都好腍和入味,但湯底好鹹、好濃,吃完碗麵後,喉嚨極渴;魚蛋魚味香濃,可是不夠彈牙,同埋好鹹,可能是因為我吃完碗麵的關係,全場惟一不鹹的是油菜,不過油太多了,有啲膩呢!

幫襯這裡時市建局仍未公佈有關收購這帶重建的消息,現在雖不是塵埃落定,但總覺離遷拆的時日不遠矣;記憶當天幫襯這裡是十月上旬,舊舖頭,舊街坊,舊文化,而這正正是快將被大型商場及大餐飲集團所未能擁有的---人情味!牛腩片頭撈;在這老店幫襯總不會擔心是鹼水味滿溢的全蛋麵,今趟亦是,不需浙醋和之會是食得很舍意,牛腩不過腍過肕,候柱醬的香味加上慢火烹調,當然不能沒有這裡馳名的魚蛋,炸片頭可滿足這個愛魚肉香味之餘更愛炸魚蛋的口感的老饕!

Portion very very small, especially the fried fish skin, only a few pieces! Hygiene is another problem, very oily surfaces. Nonetheless, the fishballs are indeed quite yummy, and the chili oil is the best i've found in Central (so far). Will go again for sure, but IMPROVEMENTS please!!!

現時好多麫鋪都好著重湯底, 例如標榜豬骨湯、鮮魚湯或海鮮湯.....等等, 但此家麪鋪的湯底如白開水沒有分別, 點解因為連少少味道都沒有, 要投放大量豉油及辣椒油才勉强吃下去,丸類又不夠熱, 魚蛋又唔彈牙, 以它的收費不如去附近哪間大排檔好味得多起碼食物夠熱棘, 下次肚餓都不會幫襯, 我寧願食即食麫好過。

當晚到中環買東西, 想找粉麵食, 在圍繞結志街走了一圈大部份鋪頭都收工了, 再行遠少少的九記, 勝香園假日又休息, 於是便選了新景記。只有我一人個食客, 正諗緊食什麼, 老闆便推介食四寶, 因為抵食。便聽他的, 再加生菜全走。生菜以清湯浸著上, 湯幾清甜, 合我胃口, $10。四寶米有魚蛋, 牛丸, 墨丸各兩粒, 魚餃三粒, 餸多過米粉, 又確係抵食, $20。先試出名的魚蛋, 都算有魚味, 咬落帶點點胡椒味, 但不彈牙, 還覺有點散。墨丸幾好, 彈牙, 味道夠, 胡椒味比魚蛋重, 合我口味。牛丸就差了點, 很實, 亦不新鮮。最好的要算是魚餃, 皮滑, 餡亦夠味。還有他們自製的辣椒油, 料好香, 又夠辣。食完後, 印象最深, 難忘的是辣椒油。

昨日去南丫島行完山,回到中環,到了新景記食麵,因為04年平安夜食過它的牛腩河非常回味,所以再來試試,我食牛腩米(16元),阿仔食牛腩麵(16元),食落口,我同阿仔都一致認不及上一次(04年平安夜),今次的是又鞋又痴牙,上一次食時炆得又琳不痴牙又入味,入口即溶;阿仔說可能是上次我們食時是過了零晨,牛腩都炆到半夜三更夠時間所以又入味又好食........
