開宗明義,如果你不想毀了一天的好心情,就別來銅鑼灣的花園餐廳。花園餐廳在港九多區設有分店,但服務態度銅鑼灣這家可算最差。開開心心來吃牛扒,味道也還算過得去,價錢也划算,但最後會因服務態度讓你覺得盤中餐實在味如嚼蠟。價錢不貴也不是可以受氣的理由。最近又去一次,叫了凍檸茶少冰,卻上來凍檸茶走冰。我說麻煩加些冰,上錯了,一個戴眼鏡的50歲上下的中年男服務員竟說「你明明叫走冰!我沒上錯」氣焰囂張,理直氣壯,然後轉身就走人!就算我叫錯,加一點冰又怎樣,又不是要换,至於如此態度嗎?因為不想影響其他客人用餐,我並沒有跟他爭吵,但這類事情不只一次。以後肯定不會再光顧這家分店。

夜晚9點幾喺銅鑼灣收工,講真都唔太多肆可以選擇了。最後走咗去金百利,發現呢度勁多野食,見到有花園餐廳,就忍唔住行咗入去,畢竟有勁多童年回憶在花園餐廳,以前細個爸爸成日帶我去旺角嗰間食,嗰啲侍應叔叔好比澳牛哥仔,但多了一份香港情懷。一坐底,就叫我最愛嘅鑊仔牛柳6成熟,朋友就叫A4和牛扒6成熟,有湯有餐包,但可惜的是而家冇甜品雪糕球跟餐,不過坦白說,味道不變,依舊好食,充滿牛味,不過友人就感覺佢塊扒應該落了不少鬆肉粉,沒辦法,可能品質不一。題外話,侍應都是後生,沒有了叔叔的本港情懷,但要注意的是,經常大聲傾計,又拉扯嬉戲,嘈住客人俾人感覺好不成熟,這點確要改善。

煎龍脷柳(意大利汁)配茨菜。龍脷柳好腍,亦都好大份。茨菜即係波浪型嘅薯條,好耐都冇食過呢種形狀嘅薯條啦!而最令Kiwi困惑嘅意大利汁原來就係蕃茄汁,酸酸甜甜都唔錯。

行街行到又倦又餓,喺銅鑼灣搵食都唔容易...唔係太貴就係有排等位...由於太夜又唔想再行,見喺金百利樓下,就同個FD索性上去食花園算了。朋友一貫喜歡食牛脷,所以點了咖哩牛脷飯,而我就要了一個有齊免翁+蝦+半隻乳鴿,仲可配飯 / 意粉 / 沙律的餐。時移世易,連最出名的紅湯都變質了......儘管已落了PEPPER,但它只可說是勁淡味的菜湯而已。朋友說牛脷味道尚算 OK,有 4 條咁多,而且都幾厚。不過有 2 條係太硬和韌,咬唔開的!......至於個咖哩汁都算夠辣。我個 "海陸空" 餐,好似好豐富,有沙律菜伴碟。我先食隻蝦,唔太熱,咦,仲有 D "叔" 味嘅?!乳鴿OK 啦;至於塊牛則尚可,有三分之一係韌的......。我揀了配沙律,佢係薯仔菠蘿加少許紅蘿蔔嘅沙律,唔太凍,沙律醬唔太夠,味道一般啦。我諗,全晚 D 野食之中叫做唯一有保證的,那怕係個餐包 (連粒裝牛油) 啦!(好諷刺)

工作繁重,午餐有時忙到一個點,只能與外賣盒為伴,最近淡季,能出外午膳,不過不代表有閒餘時間,可以坐在高級餐廳談笑風生午餐宗旨是平靚正,再加上「快」花園餐廳是平民扒餐廳,質素平穩,午餐餐牌未必每日相同,今日有三款選擇。分別有牛柳、龍脷柳和芝士焗火腿吞拿魚意粉。經驗告訴我,選擇焗飯是最飽,通常都大大一碟,加上花園餐廳的份量一向很足夠,不用擔心此問題。我選擇了這個餐,芝士頗多,焗飯有芝士味,但是意粉只沾了芝士醬,沒有做任何處理,要伴著吃才有味道。火腿和吞拿魚的味道挺合得來,不過由於芝士吃多了有點膩,所以很快就飽了同事點這個餐,看賣相已經嫌意粉太頹只是簡單煮熟了意粉,再焯一小撮粟米,加些醬汁,實在欠缺誠意。鐵板燒肉是花園餐廳的經典,侍應一放下已經聞到牛柳的香氣,還有鐵板的「滋滋」聲,令人食指大動。可惜薯條被醬汁浸得太軟,不過牛柳還是不錯的,試吃了一口,味道不錯,肉質飽滿。題外話,港式扒餐廳多數用小唐菜做伴菜,味道比沙律更搭。

我選擇了這個餐,芝士頗多,焗飯有芝士味,但是意粉只沾了芝士醬,沒有做任何處理,要伴著吃才有味道。火腿和吞拿魚的味道挺合得來,不過由於芝士吃多了有點膩,所以很快就飽了

鐵板燒肉是花園餐廳的經典,侍應一放下已經聞到牛柳的香氣,還有鐵板的「滋滋」聲,令人食指大動。可惜薯條被醬汁浸得太軟,不過牛柳還是不錯的,試吃了一口,味道不錯,肉質飽滿。題外話,港式扒餐廳多數用小唐菜做伴菜,味道比沙律更搭。
