今日行過唔覺意見到斑蘭芝士蛋糕特價$28,原價$38已經好平,而家仲要平多$10,忍唔住買黎試下一心抱住咁平應該唔好食既心態,點知真係唔錯,估唔到!首先個蛋糕好有重量,質地好濕潤,可能有人會覺得太濕,但我本身就中意比較濕既質感,所以覺得好正呀。。而且好綿密,沒有打入過多空氣,所以一整個很重身,斑蘭味清香,其實即係好似椰子味,而斑蘭同芝士味兩者味道又不會互搶呢個價錢真心好抵食,性價比極高!

首先個蛋糕好有重量,質地好濕潤,可能有人會覺得太濕,但我本身就中意比較濕既質感,所以覺得好正呀。。

而且好綿密,沒有打入過多空氣,所以一整個很重身,斑蘭味清香,其實即係好似椰子味,而斑蘭同芝士味兩者味道又不會互搶


呢個價錢真心好抵食,性價比極高!

The donut was very airy inside not like the western donuts and the inside was interestingly soggy and cold.

At first I thought the dampness of the dough was the frying oil, but it was not.
The donut is big but when you bite into it, it is actually like a sponge and compresses. The donut exterior was chewier than the western type.
Overall I still prefer the western donut, but the inside of the Chinese donut is nice in the sense that it is moist and similar to fresh airy bread.
It is really similar to a sugar coated soggy American popover.

我有個非常精靈又饞嘴的外婆,每星期總要花心思買些東西氹她開心。前陣子因為新買了一台麵包機,外婆便迷上了手造的麵包和果醬,可是轉眼還未夠兩個月,她竟對我說已經很悶了,叫我買別的,真是有點想暈倒。是日經過青衣城的泰昌餅家,想起他們馳名的蛋撻,禁不住停下腳步,排隊買了幾個回來。雖然不是剛出爐狀態,不過仍然是熱烘烘的。因為有外賣盒比較好帶走,於是問店員要買幾個才有盒,店員回覆說五個。為什麼是五個呢? 沒有深究,買了五個就走。將蛋撻從錫紙盤敲出來,感覺整件蛋撻很聚手,底部的曲奇皮特別薄,彷彿隨時會散開似的。內裡凝固的蛋漿有一寸厚,咬一口又彈又滑,雖有蛋香但不會太甜。曲奇皮不像酥皮油膩,感覺比較健康,口感依然鬆軟,有淡淡牛油香。五蚊便能換到外婆滿足的笑臉,很值得。

蛋撻沒以往在擺花街老店那般美味,是不爭的事實,多年前它開幕時都不是太美味的了。迷你雞批 外皮薄脆,不油不膩,外賣取走當然回暖,叮一會兒仍然美味、多餡,叉燒餡可能比pie&tart更多,pie&tart的「肉類tart」大多都是「掛名」,內裏肉餡極少,而泰昌的雞批,餡多、豐富肉汁,皮薄鬆脆。茶果,紅豆/眉豆餡還是多的,但皮也極之厚,死實實,沒有特別好感,只是肚子餓時可以醫一醫肚的小吃吧。

酥皮不算很鬆化,介乎酥皮與 Cookie 皮之間,感覺很一般。而最令人失望的要算是雞蛋漿了,全無蛋香,跟以前蛋香充沛、晶瑩欲滴的蛋漿比較,實在是天壤之別,幸好甜度調配適中。

我們還是較愛泰昌原有的 Cookie 皮,起碼達到香脆的要求。蛋漿也一如酥皮蛋撻般,沒有蛋香,我的心就跟蛋撻一樣裂開了!

很懷念那些年下班後便跟幾位女性朋友一起到泰昌,臉孔圓圓泛紅,皮膚白皙的老闆,經常穿著短袖白汗衫,襯托著他胖胖與可愛的肚腩,與他的女兒跟我們談天說地,有時更會將他珍藏與肥彭的書信往來,予我們閱讀。那時蛋撻與人情味同樣令人動容。

有時會想,若泰昌老闆仍是獨資經營著泰昌的話,在租金、原材料價格上揚的今天,泰昌是否能仍然生存著呢?賣給大集團後,現在的泰昌招牌遍佈大街、商場、港鐵站,但昔日的品質卻守不住了,到底是誰救了誰?或者誰搞垮了誰?

呢日路過青衣城,見有熱辣辣既蛋撻食。我就即刻買左黎食,結果真係無令我失望。曲奇皮既蛋撻真係好脆口,比酥皮蛋撻更好食。蛋撻係好新鮮熱辣,最吸引既莫過於係個曲奇皮。真係好脆口,而且食完都唔會覺得好滯。而且好有蛋味,真係好正。如果下次路過係新鮮出爐,我都會忍唔住買黎食。其實都唔平架,1個都四個半。不過唔係成日食,都無乜所謂啦。

三月上旬路過幾次,也買了幾次蛋撻在回家途中「走吃」。這裡做法是連外賣托罩跟撻一起賣走,也是收$4.5/件的原因之一吧,值得一讚是傳統皮撻吃起來夠熱,皮不算厚,偶爾也會吃上又鬆又脆的演繹,但牛油香度反不及樓下麵包店新鮮出品,是市場口味之顧吧,脆皮撻加上甜蛋,由細吃到大,在街邊嗅到出爐撻的味道,是不能抗拒的。

黃昏歸家途中…有D肚餓, 腦裏就閃起個”食”字…又睇下商場有咩即食的可買…泰昌o既熱騰騰蛋撻固然好味…但又見蛋撻隔離放住盆雞批播…雞批又係我至愛, 吾知味道又如何呢??...$7.5一個…又試試吖…個酥皮同佢地做o既蛋撻皮一樣, 都冇乜好挑剔!!...夠酥又鬆!!...好好!!...裏面亦見大大粒雞肉…白汁做得挺好味!!...唯一就係佢地落左急凍蔬菜雜豆 – 即有青豆、粟米粒同甘筍粒…顏色就豐富左…不過, 因為雞吾屬於味濃o既肉類…蔬菜雜豆會有D搶味!!...個人認為吾放仲好呢!!!

以我這個縱橫擺花街老店之顧客, 青衣城這新開, 摩登新店, 與老店相比, 可謂高下立見.當然還是吃蛋撻.蛋撻, 外皮總算不過不失, 可能沒有放很久, 外皮還是脆脆的.但蛋, 這兒的全沒震盪感覺. 亦沒有燙手之觸感.吃下, 只像街邊普通貨色. 沒有告訴你是泰昌的話, 應不會有太大回響.還是老店的最佳.p.s. 之前買過龍鬚糖給小豬兒反而很好吃
