Tartine (Closed)

My experience has been really nice - from the service to the food to the ambiance - everything is wonderful. My favourite place for fine dining in Hong Kong. The restaurant feels like home and the terrace at the third floor allows you to chill in the heart of Soho - Hong Kong, so nice! Definitely a place to go!

每天都路過這間Tartine, 一直替他們擔心能營業多久。說真的, 這幾年在中環又開又關的餐廳十隻手指數不完, 尤其是Soho區。這幾天在行人電梯上見到他們終於把裝修版拿下, 我終於可以來試一試。之前試過他們同一個老闆Upper Modern Bistro而失望, 所以這次來之前已有心理準備。過往, 逢有新開的中環餐廳, 我大多數都會先試午餐。一, 若難食我至少保住了荷包; 二, 若午餐都難食更莫倫晚餐! 這次, 一如過往來試午餐。Tartine 其實在法文就代表 open sandwich。 就像pomme tartine, 法式蘋果批, 是翻過來的。裝修走簡單清新bistro路線。本來還有點擔心會不會是那種$178+ 的法國cafe, 出乎意料 weekday set lunch 只是$118-148。今天就選了 simple lunch: green pea gazpacho, prawn & bechamel tartine, latte. 今天天氣熱, 也是我選 green pea gazpacho 的原因。喝下去很濃的青豆味, 這凍湯加上一絲薄荷味立刻讓我清涼起來。湯匙

Shared dinner with my cousin here last week and we enjoyed the experience, from the food to the welcoming staff. We started with the mushroom soup which is thick and just right in creaminess. It came with a small toasted slice of bread with melted cheese on top. We then shared a couple of tartines. Our favorite was the prawn & homemade bechamel with lobster bisque. The seafood flavours were so rich and the bread was toasted so well. They serve a nice cocktail that has berries, rosemary and a cin
