Back to the Better Ole and golly there was a line! Managed to squeeze in the bar and had a pint. I have a suspicion it somehow got cheaper than I remembered.Opened a bottle of Merlot. South African Merlot, can’t fault it for the price, lovely, a steal in fact.Friends arrived and moved to our table. I had the sirloin and we shared escargot and wedges. Steak was juicy and meaty, cooked correctly. Rosemary potatoes were crispy. The presentation was very nice, and the garlic sauce was just right.Esc

Friends arrived and moved to our table. I had the sirloin and we shared escargot and wedges.

Steak was juicy and meaty, cooked correctly. Rosemary potatoes were crispy.
The presentation was very nice, and the garlic sauce was just right.

Escargot was delicious. Served bubbling hot and buttery, very nice and fragrant.

The toilets have had a long needed upgrade too.

一家人慶生日🎂食飯食到一肚氣😤一行連大連細7個人,有家人先到取位,當我們到達時,在門口遲遲唔帶入座,完全唔知已訂座的同人已到,也有提及,無奈😮‍💨點菜先,點青口無青口,點豬手無豬手,而我入座是6點多,第一輪晚餐已經無想吃的食物,不知是好生意還是無入貨。雜菜湯像水一般,無味無道,又唔熱,唉😫忌廉湯只說可入口,質料比想像中差。麵包🥖比較正常,肉醬意粉,意粉與肉醬要分離的,肉醬與意粉分開焗再合體上檯🍝咖哩飯配牛腩,似連鎖店的出品,不過不失,這個唯一不伏的👎🏻羊架要5成熟,加埋鐵板上,近乎全熟,唔似食羊,完全唔知自己食緊乜😵‍💫肉眼才是重頭戲🥶🥶湯未飲已經上檯,要五成熟,上檯柴皮一樣,二百幾蚊的扒是這樣😮‍💨要求更換,再上檯的扒是即煎,可惜血淋淋,像三成般,已經不寄於任何希望,沒有再更換。呢個時候有人問今晚的食物啱唔啱食?我還未望到誰再問,我已經即時答佢唔啱食,將肉眼這個事情告訴他,他取消這個肉眼及道歉,到結帳時,收取飲品及湯的錢,我告訴侍應,這是一個餐,他不明白還跟我理論,我叫他問經理,最後也取消了。這個店舖的價錢不算貴,糟蹋了食物,浪費了七十幾年嘅招牌,希望再有機會惠顧

喺上水返工咁耐 多數都係食醉雞米線🤣
又俾我同事搵到一間性價比咁高嘅扒房🥩

餐湯有紅/白湯揀 我揀咗個羅宋湯飲
除咗比較稀之外 其實味道唔差的
作為送既餐湯 都冇咩好挑剔

主菜食西冷扒五成熟 冇咩血水流出
但係肉質唔會太un 好有肉味!
冇落鬆肉粉的感覺 所以都幾滿意
有得揀黃芥辣 黑椒汁 仲有幾款汁
同埋另外有細細碗意粉 好重牛油蒜香味🧈
食埋就好夠飽

啤酒 有幾款揀 全日happy hour🍻🙈
餐廳入面 有幾部大電視!幾啱睇波⚽️

下次好想試埋青口

今次同朋友來鋸扒,門口有啲歐陸式,入到餐廳見到menus原來都幾十年歷史我哋叫咗份德國咸豬手、香草焗羊扒同法國田螺💎焗法國田螺有6粒,焗得啱啱好,蒜蓉加橄欖油勁香,啲汁流咗落薯蓉度,令到佢無咁乾,出色💎德國咸豬手我平時麻麻地,因為好多時都會好咸同乾爭爭,但呢個反而我覺得好好食,佢皮脆又唔會硬,肉又多汁,夠味但唔會好咸👍🏻💎香草焗羊扒自己冇留意,原來鐵板上,本人鍾意生少少,如果有需要可以走鐵板,味道中規中矩💎酥皮龍蝦湯加咗錢轉龍蝦湯,啲湯新鮮滾熱辣,但就覺得佢唔夠濃郁,有啲淡整體嚟講都唔錯,會帶朋友嚟再黎,舊式扒房嚟講佢算唔差推薦度🌟🌟🌟(5星最高)

我平時麻麻地,因為好多時都會好咸同乾爭爭,但呢個反而我覺得好好食,佢皮脆又唔會硬,肉又多汁,夠味但唔會好咸👍🏻

自己冇留意,原來鐵板上,本人鍾意生少少,如果有需要可以走鐵板,味道中規中矩
