表哥五十歲大壽，疫後剛好可大肆慶祝，表嫂就喺金鐘嘅「The Continental」同佢搞咗個戶外派對。金漆路牌明明指示前往「The Terrace」要向左轉，點知該路不通，所有客人必需從正門進入會場。炎炎夏日中午時份用餐，室外氣溫極高，店子除咗設有帳篷遮擋陽光之外，四周仲擺出多把大風扇，可惜風力強而唔涼，吹到賓客個個頭髮亂了，仲不停要抹汗，認真唔過癮囉！午宴有幾款紅、白、汽酒提供。最受歡迎竟然係平事最少人飲嘅香檳，可想而知嗰日係熱成點啦！客人於回覆邀請時早已點選好頭盤及主菜，壽宴當日只需埋位等食。主人家致詞後，溫鋺嘅服務生先呈上麵包籃；舅母第一啖即食出包品內含果仁，所以細佬就冇試到。頭盤有兩款可選，其一為湯湯「Celeriac and Apple Soup」。Smoked Loch Duart Salmon：細佬所揀嘅煙三文魚厚薄適中，配料齊備，濃潤量足。主菜則共有四款，家禽代表有燒雞半隻「Half Roast Chicken」。素食之選為椰菜花意大利飯「Cauliflower Risotto」。海鮮就有三文魚餅「Salmon Fish Cake」。Steak & Eggs：食肉獸當然係揀牛扒啦！頂面隻煎蛋還好呈半流心狀。敗筆在於薄薄嘅西冷過熟而變得老嚡乾硬，加上勁多筋，食到成身汗仲要用力咬，極其艱辛！可能怕檸檬甜品會酸，甜品環節XO仔嗰枱人清一色點哂「Chocolate Delice」，不過個人就覺得朱古力甜品濃厚得黎好溜。生日P結尾當然係唔少得簡單而隆重嘅切餅儀式啦！金鐘名酒店區內之西餐廳「The Continental」室內用餐大堂樓底高高，環境高優，可惜戶外派對嘅安排未能解決香港出名濕熱嘅天氣，開行大風扇都完全散唔到熱，搞到全場人大汗𢱕細汗，無一幸免，加上食物質素比較一般，即使服務生落力都難以取悅肥肥家族個胃囉！ continue reading

    朋友仔見面選址來了The Continental位於金鐘西餐廳，聽聞跟Salistxxa像同一大老闆所生,真假與否今日也要試一試。。。平日午市分別(兩道菜與三道菜套餐價錢是$358及$398另加一服務)。。。環境是蠻舒服，不過自己就覺得音樂開得太大，客人交談就好像要跟音樂比拼，套餐沒有太多選擇下亦如不合適都可以自行單點～(朋友)未到已經先上餐前麵包，是一籃麥包，自己就覺得普通過(普通)，比起應該是同兄弟出品的另一間餐廳真是直分高下）★頭盤蘇格蘭三文魚是朋友選的,切來一口吃魚肉非常嫩滑，土豆沙律歐芹醬怪我味蕾較為遲鈍，味道上沒有太大吸力，只可以覺得贏在賣相~★★★自己的薄片牛舌金䱽魚醬醃洋蔥，就如其名薄薄的牛舌墊底，加上所謂金䱽魚醬，味道鮮明，但不是太懂欣賞，亦不會有嘩然的感覺～★★★主菜油封五花肉，又是好一道（慢煮料理）五花肉烹煮細稔，不過味道上就係平凡了一點，加上伴上的黃油卷心菜土豆泥洋蔥醬所造成的配角，這份主菜理應夠飽★★★自己的主菜（蒸比目魚）繼續彰顯「慢煮料理」的烹調製作，依舊一樣有水準，其實時間的掌握好影響到食材口感，這一點廚師絕對明白，但·若然這麼多款式都用上慢煮料理其實會否令客人覺得廚師沒有太大的心思？😮‍💨今次伴上是扁豆/莎莎醬/味噌醬配炸茄子，食材來得平衡，亦都係一個夠飽的主菜★★★餐牌上沒有包上飲品，我們每人叫上一杯收費$50.latte & Cappuccino 沒有太大深究手上這杯latte，因為主菜同前菜都沒有太大驚喜， 味蕾上亦都給這個平靜振作不起，唯一覺得可選的是在這個地段吃着這個價位的午餐不算有太大落差自己已經覺得不錯~服務方面沒有温度的服務其實隨處可見,但理應高階場地實在不應遇上。★★★ continue reading

      已經唔係第一次幫襯太古廣場嘅The Continental. 之前多數係食brunch，價錢合理，係一間氣氛唔拘謹嘅西餐廳。保持一貫水準，環境好，服務好，食材質素好Presentation亦好今晚四個人，簡簡單單食4個course 嘅dinner set，由入門口到入坐，到每一道食物上菜，都有令人賓至如歸嘅感覺戶外係pet friendly 的，天氣涼啲會埋帶寵物再來🐶絕對會再幫襯，值得推介 continue reading

      小姐妹生日，已經食過下午茶了，所以不想再叫甜品，但是餐廳都贈送了甜品生日牌，真心值得加分，超細心，超窩心的！💕食物方面我們沒有點set 餐，散點了，魚，雞，牛，出乎意外，比想像中好味😋，魚不會太油，仲有薯蓉，好用心的製作，雞皮燒得特別惹味，牛肉嫩！環境舒適，闊落，午餐，happy hour，晚餐都好適合，價錢合理！ continue reading
