The FCC known for its Indian dishes I decided to order the Kadhi Chicken Biryani, a dish that I don't see very often in Hong Kong.  I didn't have to wait long for the dish to arrive, as expected it is served with a sliced boiled egg, a side of yoghurt and curry sauce. This place is a good top choice for both lunch and dinner. Not only do they have a wide international menu including Western, Indian, and Asian cuisine, their Chinese food is surprisingly delicious and authentic. Also to note is their wide selection of wine choices with very good price 🥂. Definitely a good place to hang for happy hour as well as for proper dinner gatherings.

過時過節FCC通常都有seasonal menu。當然Thanksgiving亦都唔例外啦。佢哋嘅Thanksgiving menu 由11月21-27號都有。2 course $278; 3 course $358; 4 course $418(包一個main course同咖啡或茶, 另外就視乎你嗌唔嗌齊appetiser, soup 或者dessert (Thanksgiving pumpkin pie)喇。我揀咗要Appetizer: Quinoa & Dried Fruit Salad with Cajun Shrimps 同Main: Roasted beef hanging tender with grilled king prawn。個沙律好大碟，啲菜都好新鮮。Main嘅牛肉都整得幾好，但係個蝦就熟咗少少。成個lunch配埋一杯champagne同紅酒，簡直係Perfect。

朋友推介海鮮湯，喝下去估計是新鮮蕃茄、洋蔥、可能有點菜煮成，足料海鮮，味道清甜可口，令人想多嚐幾口。侍應建議可加點附送辣汁，加了真是多了味覺層次，這個頭盤的確真不錯呢!朋友建議1份咖哩加份印度餅便足夠兩人分吃。 果然是份量不少。未開動前，侍應拿了幾樣伴吃，給我們選擇。我選了黑提乾、生洋蔥和咸檸皮。這幾款伴咖喱吃，增添味覺滿足。我吃了2塊印度薄餅，加上1/3份咖喱魚已飽了。咖喱汁有椰香、魚味道新鮮、肉厚結實和彈牙。沾了咖哩汁的蒜蓉印度餅，香脆好味。印度飯略嫌有點多油，可能這是印度風味啦。朋友建議試下薑味梳乎厘，個人認為略甜，份量太大了，淺嚐便是。等候時間頗長，趕時間便可免了。

邪惡指數: 🐽🐽🐽好食指數: 🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️我同事有FCC membership，自從佢帶過我去食飯之後就愛上左，每次佢吹雞話去食我都一定舉手🙋🏻‍♀️😆佢Menu有好多選擇， 中餐西餐印度野都有，我試過嘅都好唔錯，大碟抵食🙌🏻 今次就講講近排食嘅中餐啦，水準依然keep到，尤其係鍾意佢哋啲炒粉麵飯：⭕️ 星洲炒米 - 炒得夠乾身有鑊氣，咖喱粉香，又多配料，正👍🏻⭕️ 乾炒牛河 - 又一鑊氣十足之作，醬油均勻，牛肉片大大塊，加埋辣椒油食咁正🌶⭕️ 煎蛋免治牛肉飯 - 好經典嘅懷舊碟頭飯，醬汁惹味，拮穿埋隻流心蛋撈埋一齊食，滿足🥰

這裏的咖喱是必試食物，正宗度全東南亞數一數二。大大話話在記者會用餐經驗都十幾廿年了，服務和食物水準永遠如一，季節性的新推介也常常有驚喜，相熟的服務員也已經很有默契，基本上已經知道你的要求和選擇。朋友快離開香港在這裏追尋一下大家的回憶。其實喺中環大把西餐有得食所以喺度多是選擇亞洲風味的菜色。 講返咖喱肉類很有層次感，香料風味獨特，細心準備好的配料為本身已經很出色的主菜增添色彩。呢度嘅海南雞飯其實都係要一試嘅菜式之一。

平時成日行過，但完全冇諗過外國記者會Foreign Correspondent's Club係有餐廳😳但只開放俾會員入去，突然有機會跟同事去，就等我掀開佢嘅神秘面紗啦😆第1樣係creme brulee, 超好食！😋面頭嘅焦糖好脆，但又唔會因為燒得太燶而有苦味燉蛋部分有好多香草籽，所以有好香濃嘅vanilla味仲要夾埋mixed berries一齊食，酸酸地可以中和返啲甜味，真係好正👏🏻冇記錯只係賣$39，CP值超高👍🏻第2樣係Vegetarian Pie，冇諗過佢寫係pie，但就好似薯蓉咁中間係蕃茄雜菜+impossible meat，雖然酸酸地，但都未足以中和薯蓉嘅膩所以最後食左一半就飽左第3樣係mushroom salad, 雖然有少少sour cream做salad dressing, 但就唔係好夠味，要自己落黑醋汁去調味😅

My friend is a member here so she could take me for a lunch today~the building is culfural & historic and the interior decoration for Christmas is also fantastic. We came here at 1130am so there was not so many people yet. My friend told me that the Indian food is quite famous here so I ordered a small portion of curry chicken tikka masala～And yes! Usually head to the FCC with my mum as she is a member so we have been going for many years and have a chance to taste a lot of dishes on their wide and big menu. It sometimes is difficult to choose what to eat as there as so many dishes and cuisines to choose from. This stroganoff I found was cooked nicely. Chicken and mushroom pie; first the sides were nice  but very plain and nothing special. Peas and mashed potatoes, very traditional style which reminds of the UK, but also nothing modern or with flair. Now the pie: The pastry was thick, and overall it was a huge pie and lots to eat. I would say without the gravy the pie would have been much too dry. The chicken had already dried out so was not as tasty as it could be. Usually have really good meals at the Main Dining Bar at the FCC, was pretty disappointed with their lamb chops. They were tiny, no bigger than the size of my finger. On a huge empty plate which made it seem even tinier. Most of their other dishes I have are pretty good. But these, not so much. Service is alright, its the usual old guard serving so English isn't always that great and you can tell they have been there for a while so are usually stuck in their ways. After Chablis 2017 last week, I went to happy hours with a friend in a pub with British Colonial design and we had a bottle of Louis Moreau Chablis 2018 ($380). This vintage had a good hint of apple and pear (vs 2017’s lemon and citrus). We also had a dish of fried ho fan with sliced beef and bean sprouts ($85). It didn’t make you feel oily in particular yet the ho fan was very well fried as it didn’t take much effort to eat with a spoon and a fork.

I love how not crowded this place is compared to any other pubs/bars on a Friday night in LKF.Their cocktails and beers are so cheap so it’s a really good place for pregaming or simply happy hour with your colleagued and friends.This green cocktail is the ‘Grasshopper’, which tastes sweet and minty with only a tinge of alcohol in the after taste. A friend being a member, I was happy being invited to try out over 20 Italian white and red wines with some delicious canapes.White wines are more everyday wine, refreshing for summer.
