To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

The Place combines a wide array of seafood delicacies with an exquisite selection of cheeses, promising a symphony of flavours that will elevate your buffet experience from now until 30 November 2024.
Premium Cheeses and Seafood Delights
The brand-new buffet features an exquisite selection of premium cheeses and seafood dishes that are sure to tantalise guests. Guests can savour a spread of salads and appetisers featuring seafood and cheese, including Thai-style Seafood Salad, French Goat Cheese Tomato Salad and more, offering a refreshing twist on traditional favourites. Seafood lovers will be delighted not only by a wide spread of iced seafood such as Seasonal Oysters*, Snow Crab Legs, Whole Lobsters*, as well as the ever-popular steamed seafood* featuring Abalone, Scallop and Shrimp during the dinner buffet. Culinary team have also curated an array of new hot delicacies, which include delectable Baked Stuffed Scallop with Cheese and Mentaiko, Deep-fried Pork Cordon Bleu with Tartare Sauce and Wok-fried Shrimp with Chili and Garlic. Meanwhile, guests can also savour also a range of cheese offerings, including an assortment of cheeses with delectable dips such as Blue Cheese, Emmental, Red Cheddar, Brie, Edam, complementing with two selections of Black Pepper Cheese Dip, Smoked Salmon Cheese Dip, Garlic Cheese Dip or Onion Cheese Dip. The live Raclette Cheese Station* is a highlight of this dinner buffet as guests can savour the hot, creamy and rich flavour of cheese. Executive Pastry Chef, Roy Ma and his team have crafted a series of must-have desserts to satisy the discerning palate. Highlights include Charcoal Black Sesame Cheesecake, Pistachio Green Tea Financier, Durian St. Honoré Cake, Kyoho Grape Jasmine Tea Mousse and cheese egg waffle, as well as 11 flavours of MÖVENPICK® Ice Cream.
“The Seafood Place” Weekend Afternoon Tea Buffet
The Place also bring in “The Seafood Place” Weekend Afternoon Tea Buffet, available on every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat iced Lobster Claws or Crayfish, Snow Crab Legs, Blue Mussels and Poached Prawns at the Seafood Station; as well as a selection of Sushi, Salad and Cold Cuts. Newly-added highlights are local bites including Hong Kong-style Swiss Chicken Wings, Wok-fried Pork Ribs with Garlic and Chili, Mini-sized Sticky Rice Wrapped in Lotus Leaf, Hong Kong-style Soy Sauce Fried Noodles and more. Other international hot dishes such as Roast Baby Pork Ribs with BBQ Sauce and Deep-fried Prawn Toast will also be available. Guests with a sweet tooth cannot miss the large spread of desserts including Grass Jelly Station, Macanese Egg Tarts, Yuzu Macaroon and eight flavours of MÖVENPICK® Ice Cream etc., The Place’s Seas and Cheeses Feast Buffet with free-flow beverage package (including house wines, juices and soft drinks) is available during lunch and dinner hours.
