今日中午多一點時間食lunch,去左西環試下呢間Tivo, 係堅尼地城荷蘭街,面向海旁,外面看似外國feel,但入面d櫈係唔多舒服既鐡櫈,又細張。叫左set lunch, 選了西蘭花salad加西班牙炒飯Risotto, 估計應該唔錯,但沙律到時, 賣相普通,吃西蘭花時感覺唔多新鮮。再黎Risotto, 我以為比較正宗的西班牙炒飯,見到真係勁失望,賣相是大碗汁,食落似湯飯,像是雞肉撈飯般,沒有炒飯的味道,雞肉味欠奉。餐茶要加多$20, 所以沒有特別叫。

自從西港島線通車後，一直都想試乘港鐵來走一趟感受有何不同，人流會變得暢旺，食肆愈開愈多自然多選擇。你會發現到處都是外藉人士，暫未被攻陷之城你好來走走。 週六，是次友人同本人預祝生日就特此前來我所選的其中之一餐廳一試，距離港鐵車站步行都不過10分鐘, 便利吧！ 這裡果然不錯！極具南歐式的裝潢，用一絲不苟來形容這裡的佈置是毋庸置疑的，所以環境我給了滿分，我著重食物，但現在回想我卻竟然忘記了我對食物的太深感受，應該是不錯，賣相已夠吸引吧？！ 用餐時望出窗外看見人們較為不太急速的步伐，電車隨隨而行，再望遠些就是卑路乍灣公園， 感覺悠然自得 ，如果多點朋友可以預早訂位坐其最大的圓型桌更好，桌上掛上很多玻璃杯加打燈效果很美，廷特別！大家可以試試，亦會再來：）

近期西環開了很多型格西餐廳, 要逐一試試, 原來這間餐廳已開了一年這間餐廳很容易找到, 只需由香港大學地鐵站C2出口向電車路方向行5分鐘左右上次經過時已被那半落地玻璃吸引住了 餐廳頗大, 近門口有兩至三張SOFA 位, 很多西餐廳都沒有圓枱, 好多時與大班朋友吃西餐時,很難與所有朋友一起談天, 值得一贊, 這裡有圓枱, 下次與大班朋友吃飯, 也可以選擇這裡了可能平日關係, 這裡不算太多人, 平日來的話, WALK IN 應該沒有問題,全間裝修以深色木為主, 配襯了用來照雞蛋的紅燈罩, 成為了餐廳特色之一, 唯一要改善便是坐椅, 坐椅偏小, 椅背比較短餐前經理推介了GUACAMOLE DIP, 應該是一些自家製的牛油果醬和墨西啊哥辣醬, 配以墨西哥片一同吃, 墨西哥片非常鬆脆, 完全沒有油膩感覺, 送酒不錯, 由於這個醬愈吃愈開胃, 所以我們再encore 一碟chips   在openrice 見到有食家post了一杯grapfruit punch, 我都想試試, 但發現drink list 是沒有, 於是打開了openrice, 把grapfruit punch的圖片給經理看,

隨著地鐵進駐西環，一切景物都起了變化。依稀記得多少年前，荷蘭街的這個角落是一間很地道的茶餐廳。眨眼間，就變成了截然不同的 TiVo。裝潢雅緻，一個個照雞蛋的紅燈罩，成為餐廳的亮點。一道道長玻璃門外看著電車走過，別有一番風味，似要帶領人們回到過去...吃了無數件蘿蔔糕實在太飽太膩，只能點一個 Tropical Punch --- 很清新，不甜也不會飲到一肚氣，確是一個醒神的好選擇。悠閒的，或許要再來一趟嘆一個 late brunch / early dinner. 

好耐冇寫食評了，今次本來都冇打算寫，所以食物冇影相，但發生左一件事，忍唔住上黎寫幾句。我用tablemap卜左位，食左個brunch。呢間Tivo環境好好多人提過，地點其實都好搵，當然而家有地鐵就更方便。(sorry 本身冇打算寫食評所以食物冇相）我地兩點食，weekend所以係brunch menu。menu 都好多選擇，價錢大約九十至一百二三十左右，但就冇餐，不過有水任飲。食左open toast sandwich with mushroom spinach avocado $108，好味，有d沙律菜on side. 用料好新鮮，而且有三大件，感覺豐富。試左朋友既scrambled egg with salmon and toasts.  蛋好滑同埋唔油，smoked salmon有五塊左右，味道正常份量好okay. 仲試左朋友既eggs benedict, 可揀salmon, ham or mushroom, 佢揀左mushroom. 兩大件，處理得幾好，唔油，而且用料真係新鮮。有朋友食左big breakfast, 冇試但個樣都好靚。總括黎講食物唔係平，正常brunch價錢，但

環境輕鬆舒適，適合家庭談笑用膳，或朋友聚餐！食物味道十分不錯：Belly bun: 有原始食豬肉的味道，加了青瓜把油份吸收，沒有太油膩的感覺，但又保持油香味Oxtail pasta: oxtail 肉嫩而香，粉粗但質地煙硬有彈性，十分好味；Brunch breakfast: 最喜愛吃腸的我對腸和煙肉的味道都十分滿意；Mini Burger:  新鮮，份量味道啱晒小朋友甜品：有特色，愛吃甜的女士應該十分喜愛！

Went here with a bunch of friends on New Year's Eve, and we did not have a lot of expectations. 以往都想過到tivo進餐，但其他分店一般都要等位，是我很怕亦會避免的事情，後來發現西環分店相對靜，於是這天便來試試。訂好了枱，黃金時間八點鐘到來，其實唔訂枱可即時入座。到餐廳進餐，“食裝修”也是其中一個重點。芝麻沙律 - 芝麻汁味道好,沙律菜很新鮮,洋蔥不會太熟亦不會太辣,味道剛剛好Risotto有生果味,飯面有果皮,本想以生果平衡不用太滯,但我太抗拒果皮的味道,所以不太喜歡這道菜Rib Eye - Medium Rare,肉很嫩,燒得剛剛好,醬汁(燒汁)亦很配,但不算是驚喜之作Grill Pork Rib - 汁跟rib eye很相近但多了lemon的味道,酸酸地味道較清新,與肉很配.好好味,highly recommended

我曾經很喜歡Tivo的環境、氣氛和食物...還記得不久前到Tivo吃飯後，我急不及待地寫了一篇食評，對Tivo的食物讚不絕口。可是這次我再光顧，食物質素大不如前。這次我們點了Chorizo Bag配Side Dish薯條，還有上次曾經嚐過的吞拿魚蓉薄餅及燒排骨。Chorizo Bag $128 (1/10)是西班牙肉腸麵包。份量出乎意料的少，一份兩件，每件一口就給吃完了！是甚麼味道都分辨不了。Tivo Fries $48 (4/10)，薯條炸得香脆，上面灑了芝士粉，味道一般。吞拿魚蓉薄餅 $168 (10/10)，幸好這個薄餅還能保持水準。新鮮的拖羅蓉再配上子薑及三文魚籽，不腥不膩，餅底香脆。Pork Ribs $288 (1/10)，回想上次光顧Tivo，是該店開張不久的事。當時餐牌上沒有Pork Ribs，是我們特地詢問侍應點的，份量十足，很好吃。這次再來Tivo，燒排骨已經上菜牌了！可惜，價錢比之前貴，份量少了，就連配搭的醃菜都消失了。最大的問題是，這排骨燒得很乾，肉不嫰，醬汁很鹹。

Wanted some western meals in kennedy town. Once sat down i ordered an Aqua Queen cocktail. Its a mix of peach schnapps, vodka, pineapple and lemon juice and syrup, taste yaki. Its like cough syrup. Got a Tuna belly pizza and i was curious to try this fusion of japs and italian. Kennedy Town has been opening up left and right with new eateries seemingly almost every other week. And well you know me... I love brunch!!! Breakfast foods are the BEST. So, if you want to leave Central for Brunch, you can go check out the bright, spacious TIVO which has just opened up in Kennedy Town a mere few months back. We have been to many of the nice brunch places in Kennedy Town that have sprung up e.g. Jaspers, K-Town, High Street Grill, etc. and now Tivo. Saw it while catching the bus and thought it would be a nice place to try for a Sunday brunch. We arrived amidst the rain (around 12:30pm) and were surprised to find the place was 85-90% full.
