係西營盤返工既我,平時附近真係無乜好食,正宗美食沙漠,不過近排同事發掘到附近有新既餐廳開張,唔係普通港式茶餐廳咁簡單,仲要係比較特色既印度菜,中意試新野既我地,一於黎試試,我地叫左以下菜式:1. 鐵板代碟保持熱度,加上大量雜菜如洋蔥絲、椰菜絲和蘿蔔絲,感覺健康啲

嗯。如果說mango lassi是印度的國民飲品的話,應該沒有人會反對的吧。雖然,香港有不少印度餐廳,但要找到好飲又合口味的其實都不容易,有些太甜,有些也太淡味;但這杯mango lassi,芒果和乳酪的份量好平均,味道剛剛好,如果份量再多一點都太好了(嘿嘿...)

每次吃印度菜,咖喱角總是我必點的小食之一。果真沒有令我失望,這個咖喱角釀入薯蓉和青豆,酥皮不太厚也不太薄,再配以秘製的薄荷乳酪醬,簡直是完美的配搭。嗜吃的我吃了兩隻,已經有飽肚的感覺。

這道菜是店員極力推介的,羊腿用廚師的家傳秘方醃過夜的,再用香草和木炭燒烤。店員還特別用鐵板上菜,在我們面前表演了火焰羊腿(!!!) 我們未放入口已經口水直流了。本身很抗拒吃羊肉,因為怕會有羶味,但經過火燒後(?)的羊腿肉質還保持著嫩滑,味道夾雜著不同的的香料和煙燻味,說實在這道菜真的很有驚喜。

除了咖喱角之外,另一道必點的菜便是印度烤雞咖喱了。辣度中等,咖喱混合了不同的香料,很有層次感;而雞肉很嫩滑,沒有雪藏味和雞肉的羶味(應該說是雞味嗎?哈哈)再配上naan bread,簡直是完美的配搭!

跟烤雞咖喱一樣,辣度同樣是中等,味道沒有太大驚喜,中規中矩。但不要看小它的份量好像很少,裏面有椰菜花、紅蘿蔔、粟米粒、豆角和青椒等等,這道菜為這餐飯提升了很高的營養價值(哈)

吃印度咖喱當然少不了naan bread吧。這裡提供了不同口味的印度烤餅,譬如有蒜蓉、牛油、芝士、洋蔥、薯仔等等...還有我最愛的 黑 松 露(!!) 我們毫不猶豫地點了蒜蓉和黑松露味。 最令我們驚喜的是每片薄餅都有很多黑松露,店家果然是很大方豪爽啊!嘿嘿 你要知道嘛黑松露是不便宜的啊。另外,不得不讚的是他們造的naan bread有外脆內軟的效果。

其實一直對印度菜沒有太大的感覺,總覺得不是很濃味,就是將不同種類的香料煮好而已。但經過是次晚飯竟然令我另眼相看,印度菜不只是重口味,他們用的香料都是對身體有益的,譬如是黃薑粉、肉桂、洋蔥,大蒜等。所以說嘛,印度人真的是很聰明,運用不同的香料都令每道菜的味道和營養價值提升。


另外,店內的環境很愜意很有情調,而且亦很乾淨企理,但如果有印度音樂作背景音樂的話就更加好了。不得不讚的是店員的服務也很有質素,都很細心地向我們講解每道菜。


如果下次有機會的話,一定會再來試試其他菜式。

上菜的速度也很快,先來南瓜餐湯,湯頭熬得不錯,帶有南瓜的甘香,又有點濃郁,適合大熱天喝。接著主菜和餐飲也一併上來。主菜的份量很小,本來我以為咖喱會另外上,沒想到是碟頭飯。印度咖喱有幾十種,以我所知,masala是以番茄作為底料的咖喱,咖喱汁應該是略帶紅色的,但這裡的masala很明顯沒有紅色,吃下去也吃不出番茄的味道,而且咖喱汁淡而無味,如圖所見,雞肉只有兩三件,其中一件還是馬鈴薯。我一個小女子把整盤咖喱連飯、連汁、連囊餅全部吃光依然覺得不是很飽,只是不餓而已,也許這樣更適合午後工作不容易打瞌睡吧,後來4點左右我不得不再去特地吃個下午茶去充飢。奉勸大家如果來這裡消費一定要有心理準備,份量少得可憐,不過座位舒適,而且地點離King’s 和港大很近,適合附近的師生聚會。

Charcoal grilled boneless pieces chicken marinated with the restaurant special secret recipe.

Strong, abundant, deep intense spices flavours .Very tastyyyyyyyy.

Loads of veggie beneath the chicken (i.e. finely shredded upper cabbage, turnip, carrot and sweet corns...etc) which add freshness and help balancing the heavy seasoning chicken.

Highly recommended drizzling the buttery mint sauce on top of the shredded veggies.

The mint sauce lifts up the flavours of the veggies, so don't worry that you have to eating bland, dull veggies XD.It is veryyyyy delicious.

This naan is sooooooooo fluffy, airy, chewy with gluey cheese cubes stuffed inside.

Very delectable!!!

The paratha of this restaurant is less oily and less greasy than those of other restaurants.
