夏天午飯沒什胃口,到置地廣場,本來想去CIAK, 路過Urban Bakery Works, 聞到很香咖喱味,結果選了咖喱。Chicken Tikka Masala $75, 以類似雞蛋盒盛著,像環保物料。chicken tikka masala很香,一點也不辣,添加了香草,聞到已食慾大増。雞肉肉質只屬合格,但配麵包和薯仔沾咖喱汁,很美味。另外兩格,一格是車厘咖,很新鮮;另一格的豆,放久了,顏色不夠亮麗,但上面放了少許杏仁片,算不錯了!份量算適中,如果大吃男孩,最好加個包用來沾咖喱汁,更㠪!

I always thought these things are just gimmick but out of my surprise, the Ball Law Cowssant was actually pretty good - flaky and crunchy and everything you can imagine from a good croissant with a tint of sweetness.  Oh, you could opt for an extra slice of butter too (or margarine?), which would cost you $12 on top of the $18 Cowssant (yeah I know, doesn't really make sense to pay $30 for a croissant which you can finish in 3 bites, well ok maybe 5, I DO have a small mouth).

the duck confit is a great idea, wrapped in a tortilla with salad, but ours were much too salty...and almost inedible. I threw half of mine away. I don't think this is an isolated instance as one of my colleagues said his duck confit was very salty a few weeks ago.It also wasn't very cool to hear the manager (?) yelling at one of the staff.

記得去年有股牛角包熱潮 2間於hysan place的牛角包店都相繼成為食客的追捧對象時至今日urban bakery已在朗豪坊及landmark開設分店對上2次都買了焦糖牛角包 一來認為原味太乏味 二來個人喜歡焦糖果然沒有令我失望 包面上的焦糖十分香脆 不會太甜 與牛角包的一甜一咸非常合拍牛角包極度鬆軟 不像其他bakery的出品過於硬身 令人難以進食 而且好有層次不難發現包入面有好幾層 即使索價10多元也不過分今次挑戰的是菠蘿牛 $18 名字夠搶眼 也有趣 故名思義 就是港式菠蘿包與牛角包的cross over同時也推出了大膽菠蘿牛 即菠蘿油crossover牛角包 價值$30最後叫了菠蘿牛是因為大膽菠蘿牛似乎太肥膩感覺上包身硬了一點 沒有從前的鬆化 而且未見十分驚喜 可能因為單純將牛角包的皮改成菠蘿包的皮可能放了一會才進食所以口感沒之前的好 建議大家買完就盡快進食啦能夠將牛角包crossover 加入不同的配料仍然值得likemenu上亦有不同的牛角包 例如小龍蝦牛角包等等 但定價就更進取希望日後會推出更多不同的味道挑戰大家的味蕾吧

首先我們就看看廚師去製作這客Bon Bon Bone, 當中的鴨肉已經經過8小時慢煮,然後再在大鑊

天氣熱, 吃吃Tortilla也不錯, 質感方面不會太厚身. 而餡料當然跟平日吃開的墨式風味不太一樣, 鴨肉質感對辦, 畢竟是經過8小時慢煮再炒過的, 而配上片皮鴨醬之後, 實在是別有風味, 很特別. 青木瓜沙律就幾清新爽口, 加上了魚露之後, 味道亦提升了不少. 一客Bon Bon Bone, 份量十足, 女孩子以此作為午餐, 真的相當足夠.

雖然是飽了, 不過沒有甜品吃又怎算圓滿呢. 是日就一試店子的大熱之作, What The Fudge. 單計賣相, 已經很吸引. 中間的是70%朱古力蛋糕, 朱古力味道很濃烈, 質感也鬆軟, 一問之下才知道是用上來自意大利的朱古力, 怪不得是那麼香濃了. 而圍邊的是Kit Kat 朱古力, 我小時候就最愛吃Kit Kat了. 除此之外, 還配上M&M's 朱古力豆在旁邊, 層次分明, 教人著迷呢!

菠蘿牛, 特別之處在於這面頭的曲奇餡面, 就是菠蘿包那曲奇餡面, 質感是相當的香脆, 原來店方是用上風爐去把菠蘿牛烘焙, 怪不得有如此效果了. 當然, 底下的法國A.O.C.牛角包依然是相當的出色, 新鮮焗起的法國A.O.C.牛角包, 質感是相當鬆脆的, 牛油香十足. 而加入了那塊法國 Beurre D'isigny AOP 優質牛油之後, 半溶的牛油慢慢滲透到菠蘿牛入面, 更是超級味美, 教人忍不住一口接一口的吃下去.

第一次令我要寫食評分享的用餐感受喔!第一次來這食店 >.<食物無咩特別,唔難食,又唔算好好食,d包唔係新鮮整,全部一早整好,包哂放响度賣,搞到d包扁哂林哂,Langoustine太少,沙律醬太多,Roast Beef牛肉細片到差d揾唔到,淨係見到2片好薄既煙肉,各$50元,果杯湯$33元,咖啡$32元,餐廳價錢但Food Court環境和服務=無服務,全部自己搞掂,膠兜膠用具n紙杯,50元的這個牛角包,真的不外如是,物不所值,收這價錢,吃這種品質,大把食店選擇好過呢間了,失望!

七點半晚飯,未係時候。唯有走去置地happy hour先。叫咗一杯Chardonnay,45蚊杯,無加一。杯酒入口沒有太大感覺,無特岀的花香或者果香,味道一般。不過服務員好好,用冰洗酒杯,一讚。可惜,唔知點解,杯白酒一啲都唔凍。唔知係咪咁,酒嘅味道只係好一般。
