我們首先看看廚師去示範製作這客Bon Bon Bone, 先把8小時慢煮的鴨肉去炒, 然後再配上青木瓜沙律, 片皮鴨醬, 花生碎, 魚露等等, 放在tortilla上, 過程相當快捷.

賣相方面, 大廚特別把Bon Bon Bone設計得像骨頭一般, 跟Olivia Tsang的五張老虎狗照片相映成趣. Tortilla質感不俗, 不會太厚身. 入面的餡料相當豐富, 8小時慢煮再炒過的鴨肉, 加入了中式的片皮鴨醬後, 味道甜甜的, 很惹味. 而青木瓜沙律味道很清新, 正好跟鴨肉起了平衡的作用. 一客份量十足, 當作午餐吃, 已經相當飽足了.

焦點當然是Urban Bakery的招牌牛角酥,帶香濃的牛油香,加上質感是很鬆脆的,教人愛不惜手。 既然是4幢華廈的宣傳項目,當然要華麗一點,名貴的食材包括有魚子醬及他他醬龍蝦尾。 很喜歡龍蝦尾的味道,他他醬是很惹味的,而龍蝦肉共有100克,毫不吝嗇,很有鮮味,愛吃龍蝦的朋友,應該會滿意呢!

吃過Urban Bakery的牛角酥很多次了, 是日再吃, 水準依舊, 質感相當鬆脆, 牛油香突出, 很討好. 至於龍蝦尾共有100克, 份量十足, 龍蝦肉鮮味十足, 質感爽口, 加上他他醬之後, 相當惹味. 另外, 那半熟蛋帶蛋香, 入口即溶, 質感對辦. 最後, 不能缺少的是魚子醬, 讓這道菜式更加矜貴之餘, 也有芳香的感覺. 而除了這四款主要食材之外, 其他配料還有生菜, 蕃茄, 食味自然是相當豐富.

This is the third time I visit Landmark's urban bakery and I swear it will also be my last time there - at least for lunch in this shop. The key issue with this place is their salad got way too much dressing, I mean, A LOT. Comparing to places like simply life, Oliver, Mana they all got salad at much better quality - at least less dressing and not dripping at all like urban bakery's. Meanwhile urban bakery ingridients are not as good as it's peers also, tomato has no taste, vegetables is extreme

This is the third time I visit Landmark's urban bakery and I swear it will also be my last time there - at least for lunch in this shop. 

The key issue with this place is their salad got way too much dressing, I mean, A LOT. Comparing to places like simply life, Oliver, Mana they all got salad at much better quality - at least less dressing and not dripping at all like urban bakery's. Meanwhile urban bakery ingridients are not as good as it's peers also, tomato has no taste, vegetables is extremely soggy and not crisp, the cauliflower today was so bad it was soft, super wet and not fresh...I have to say I was really disappointed, I was in the hope they will get better since they first open here in landmark but truth is, they have not.

Another problem is, the portion of the salad is EXTREMELY small, you charge me hkd60 for a small box of salad but the staff only filled up like 60-70%...? All peers around central are way more generous. It was not just once but all three times I had salad here...Honestly I don't mind paying for good quality salad (eg mana's salad is worth the price) but not like this.

I also had the duck sandwich. Honestly it smells good but once you start eating it you can get enough water because it is so salty. And SUPER OILY....

I have to say I will not go back again given the bad experiences all three times I went. I wouldn't even recommend anyone to spend that kind of money on the food they offer. Mana, Simply life, or even Oliver serves much better salad, and more generous portion for the amount of money you pay.

毛毛細雨嘅星期六早上,出完中環辦私事後,好想飲杯熱辣辣咖啡暖吓,走到landmark嘅urban,外賣左杯cappucino. Urban出名牛角酥,可惜我唔好食pastry.不過依間urban款式幾多,有用牛角酥做嘅三文治,外型都幾吸引,下次再試。講番杯咖啡,非常夠熱,不過好淡,其實starbucks都叫淡㗎啦,估唔到urban仲淡,我以為我飲緊latte. 佢嘅奶泡亦都唔夠多同滑,不過我明明見佢用明治奶,明治奶出名滑,唔明點解d奶泡唔得。咖啡唔滿足,最後買多支果汁補番數,佢嘅果汁包裝幾型格,味道就正正常常啦。

UBW has a somewhat confusing set-up. There's no indication about this, but you go to the area that cooks X if you want X, then bring the stuff you've gotten to the cashier. My wife already decided on the duck confit sandwich, so I decided to go for something else.

I picked the chicken & guacamole sandwich. The real thing looks less exciting than the mock up. It's just guac and chicken, with one wilty piece of lettuce. The chicken was bland but passable. The guac was good, but they definitely skimped on it-- in the middle of the sandwich there was almost none. The bread was OK. I'd rather have this than Pret, but I wouldn't really go out of my way again for it. Alright/ C+.

The sandwich itself is a little disappointing. A little bit blander and drier than I was expecting. It needed some mustard, and luckily there was some on-hand. It was definitely better than the chicken sandwich, but also not worth going out of one's way. Good/ B+.

The salad wasn't very good. It was pre-mixed and sitting in a big bowl; the lettuce just got wilty and soggy with the dressing. Poor, D.

If I were in the area and I needed a quick bite, I could see myself going here. But I'd much rather go to Fresh in LKF-- bigger selection and better sandwiches. This place gets an overall OK/ C+.

唔駛排隊而且可以舒舒服服咁hea住食鬆脆既牛角包,就應該去置地urban bakery食物慢煮鴨包,本身唔好鴨,但選食物時實在太香,最後買來試,肉香包軟,但乾左少少set lunch,有外皮脆內裡多汁肉嫩既三文魚,仲有3款side,薯仔有啲太硬有啲岩岩好鬆化peach tea,冰未溶時好甜raspeberry danish,最鍾意咁多custard既danish,甜度岩心水macalan 12 ice cream,好香軟滑服務,由於幫人叫錯左americano,拎返去加奶時好親切咁話隻杯好滿,所以比過另一隻杯仔有打起左既熱奶,好warm呢~但有啲員工好唔pro,大聲咁同同事講粗口(個客企正係隔離),感覺有啲似係街邊茶記多過一間high quality既cafe

I was very excited when I knew that Urban Bakery is opening a proper cafe at Landmark. As I am not based in Hong Kong, I only managed to try it out not too long ago. There is alot of hype about this cafe, thanks to their very effective marketing and portrayal of the Urban Bakery as a very hip and cool one. I must say that Hong Kong is lacking of such bakeries as the current ones just seem abit dated.
I arranged to meet Fat Man there for lunch upon touching down. As I was worried that we may not be able to find a seat, I commissioned Fat Man to go there earlier to grab a table. He did a good job! Being super hungry and super greedy (as usual), I ordered 2 sandwiches, duck confit for me and beef for him. In addition, I also got us a small size salad to fulfil our daily veggie intake. Queuing at the cafe is at best disorganized. There is no proper queue system and every counter has its own separate queue, which can be frustrating if you are buying from all of them. Just to get all my food, I had to queue 4 times since the duck confit sandwich has a separate counter from the sandwich one as well. Ridiculous. Thankfully, the food was delicious. The duck confit was very well seasoned, and was a perfect match with the toasted ciabatta bun. Fat Man's beef sandwich was something he tried before so no surprises there either. As for the salad, customers can mix up to 3 types together. We got the caesar (which was slightly over dressed) and some orange pomegranate thingy. They were alright.
I would probably come back for a takeaway if I work around this area next time. The inefficient queue system is a bit of a bummer though. Still, I am looking forward to more creative sandwiches from UB. By opening next to Pret, they are definitely giving them a serious run for their money!

Indeed it was my second visit to Urban Bakery Works in Central. However, I had bad experience on both visits. The basic norms of serving food is hot food serve hot and cold food serve cold. However, the confit duck sandwich was not even warm! On the other hand, the ceasar, corn and eggplant salad were terribly salty. The carrot soup is too stick and look like a baby food. I really cannot tell how to prepare those simple food in such a terrible taste. It is not worth for money and taste terrible!

吃了不少菜蔬的我固之然要來些肉來中和了。肉卷的外層酥皮是極flaky而滿有牛油香的,吃後雖充滿罪咎感但心靈及口腹上卻極滿足;反而肉饀卻覺太鬆散變成一patpat的欠了彈性,而且咬落亦欠了應有的肉味及香....相比之下,自己反而更欣賞連鎖的星巴克所弄的sausage roll...

店內的名物小龍蝦肉牛角三文治今次倒是首嚐,原因在於它的索價委實有點貴。牛角包的水準是一如其他urban bakery店的好,酥皮很脆很flaky牛油味濃;不過身為主角的小龍蝦肉卻是淡而乏味的又偏嚡口,鮮甜度倒沒意料中的強。坦白說小弟倒是寧願花少一點錢淨食一份牛角包就算了;不過倒要一讚的是那個微辣又香的curry emulsion,用來配海鮮倒是出奇地夾....

Service & Hygiene:
Service was okay, but a bit confusing. I ordered twice and each time, the cashier asked me if I have informed the food side, which made me wonder if I was doing this wrong. Also, a staff asked another staff to scoop out the ice cream, so he put down the cleaning cloth in his hands and just started. I think he should have washed his hands for sanitary reasons. 

Taste & Value:
As I said, I had come for the cake "See you in Hell"($60) ! Then, my cousin thought that it'd be a good idea to have some coffee with it. 
 The flat white (12 oz $33) was very average and the same for the cake. I thought maybe the cake would have some sort of hazelnut taste, but it was just a boring cream cheese cake with some chocolate ganache with a Ferrero on top. The cake was dense and I was disappointed with it in general. 
 I felt cheated and this slice wasn't actually cheap. This is a cake me and my mom can easily make, so I think it wasn't worth it at all.

As I was eating, I saw an ice cream sign and remembered the Whiskey Ice Cream ($50) they have! That's why I had to go and make another order.
Although you got a fair amount, I would say it was on the pricer side. However, it was good.
 After the ice cream is scooped, they pour something on top, in which I assume to be diluted alcohol? I liked that they did that, because the alcoholic taste of the ice cream itself wasn't overly strong. I liked this ice cream.
