又逛街累了, 是時候醫肚, 路過此店, 多次都未有嚐試, 今次終於有機會雖然是簡單的雞翼, 沒什麼期望, 但吃下都有驚喜, 脆身多肉少肥, 甚至內裡的肉很有味道, 像中式般醃過的感覺, 加上甜甜酸酸的汁伴著吃, 真的不差兩大件CRAB CAKE, 份量不少, 味道很好, 質品不錯, 沒有一咬就碎, 碟邊的汁醬很BUTTERY, 是精粹所在, 帶出更出色味道厚批邊都不致於令人很飽, 感覺良好, 芝士香, 菠蘿多, 火腿都不少, PIZZA醬味道有點甜, 整體美味!

假期前一晚要搵野食都註定係幾難架喇。只係唔知 Elements 都咁多人。Wildfire 係唯一唔使等個間。叫左一個 Wings,一個salad 加 salmon 3個人分。個雞翼有驚喜,又香脆,又入味,有美國炸雞的水準。再要個 parma ham pizza 加一個pasta。pizza 係意大利正宗薄底的,個底夠脆,上面的 parma ham 同芝麻菜好好味。pasta 就ok啦,冇乜特別囉。最後要一個 banana boat 三個人分。分量原來超多,美國 size ,4人分都夠呀,上面是普通超市水平的雪糕。都係冇乜特別囉。

與老爸行完西九大戲棚,訂咗Wildfire食晚飯,坐低先點了飲品再先來一個「火熱拼盆」,有洋蔥圈(面的粉很薄,口感很脆),雞翼(燒得恰到好處,入口皮脆肉嫩),其他有魷魚圈、三文魚就—般。主菜來了:蟹肉露筍天使麵~汁與料的比例剛好,蟹肉不小,食入口感到蟹肉的鮮和有口感,味道清甜。西冷牛扒配威士忌汁~我們要求五成熟,在其他的餐廳大都做到六、七成,在這裏就真的是五成,牛扒本身外脆香,中間切開略見一點紅的血水,但又不是流出的血汁,十分鮮牛味加上特別的威士忌汁,更帶出無比的牛味,真是一絕。還有一個Pizza,味道可以,但批底略賺厚一點。

Other Info. : 值得一提的是,當晚我自已不小心打翻了牛扒的威士忌汁,侍應見到後,除立即主動送上紙巾外,見我破醬汁沾滿了衣服,還立即送上一杯梳打水,教我用梳打水抹上衣服沾污處,幫我救回一件衣服,真是感激他們的主動幫忙。

煙三文魚虎蝦沙律
在一大片綠葉下找到了煙三文魚卷.
先試了沙律, 配上濃味沙律醬, 也蓋不到菜葉的苦味
這種苦澀味, 只有高級料理店的沙律裡吃到.
我並不反感.
肥美的三文魚內包裹著大蝦及醬料. 但三文魚的味道蓋了一切, 只吃到虎蝦的彈牙.

洋蔥圈
在餐牌上沒有寫名洋蔥圈跟魷魚圈是可以分開點及雙拼, 所以我們只說了炸洋蔥圈就以為是拼魷魚圈, 就錯了!
洋蔥圈賣相精美, 用一個圓木碟盛裝, 旁邊放了特制沙律醬, 酸酸甜甜很開胃.
吃第一口洋蔥圈, 很油膩, 炸粉又太多. 心想, 下一個魷魚圈應該好一點吧...點知下一個, 再下一個都是洋蔥圈.
越來越後悔自己沒說清楚

大蝦露荀天使麵
大蝦也是虎蝦, 這次可以吃到虎蝦的鮮味.
但最突出是新鮮的露荀, 有點草味, 不過會吃上癮.
意粉可選較幼身的天使面, 就可以把creamy的忌廉汁濃濃包著每條意粉, 更入味.
面上的芝士可以跟意粉混和, 而蒜蓉包的香味會蓋過意粉, 可留待最後吃.

上菜比想像中快, 店員都很年輕, 落單都很快.
因為名店人流不多, 整個過程吃得輕鬆愉快.

平安夜當天可以早點下班,就趁機相約太太與小友到圓方行一圈,順道在此讓我們做一件平常較少機會可以做的事 --- 那便是一齊吃頓下午茶....路經一樓的"野火",看到她的二人tea set甚抵食,在圓方一帶貴價食肆林立的情况底下,$198 for two的茶餐的而且確是一個頗大的吸引....嘢食未端來前飲品先送至。左邊的熱朱古力甜得漏人,只喝了兩口便要打退堂鼓;右邊的凍檸茶則相反茶味極淡,最後結果還是跟熱朱古力的命運一般,喝不了一半便放棄了....食物放在分成兩層的層架上,有點扮"high-tea"的意味....頂層是自選意式薄餅。兩人為了遷就小友之關係便揀了toppings比較大路的新奥爾良口味的。批底夠薄而焗得香脆,最重要是入口熱辣辣,面頭的半溶芝士與各配料及茄醬融為一體,是相當的滋味...底層是各式的鹹及甜點。胡亂地每樣也吃一口出來的效果是沒有一款是能令人留下深刻印象的,反而記得的就只是魷魚圈是味如嚼臘;芭芙及蛋白批兩者的甜度十分驚人;蕃茄及水牛芝士toast則又硬又乾。最對版的就只有入口豐腴的三文魚卷而已....食物是很一般的,不過以如此的價位來講,又真的不可要求太多了...

平時在圓方番工但就沒有經常在圓方用膳,今天放假就去WILDFIRE到試試。今天我選了SET DINNERSTARTER 有吞拿魚配蜜瓜OR SOUP OF THE DAY 我選了CAULIFLOWER SOUP 侍應拿上桌時已聞到很香的味道,濃旭的忌廉味,內裡有CAULIFLOWER粒,再加上上面的BACON碎令這個湯多了另一番風味,鹹鹹的、可口的。這個餐包了餐飲但我加了$35 轉PEACH MOCKTAIL,濃旭的桃味,當然是桃味SYRUP的功勞啦,而且冰過多,真正可飲的只有三分一然後MAIN 來了,US LOIN ﹠ SCALLOP有4塊LOIN,過得去GE,但不算很好好吃,因有‘鞋“的感覺。LOIN 下有KETCHUP + SOYBEAN,OK GE但是SCALLOP 是不熱的,有些生的感覺。最後我未食完MAIN 已叫侍應上甜品,士多啤梨醬雲呢拿奶凍佢所謂的醬係碟邊果幾滴,勝在係真材實料真係有雲呢拿籽,唔係是但的雲呢拿味。

佢所謂的醬係碟邊果幾滴,勝在係真材實料真係有雲呢拿籽,唔係是但的雲呢拿味。

Other Info. : 當時是21:30,客都是佔店內一半,有足夠員工,但可惜不體貼,多次揮手都沒有人看到,沒有幫客人換刀匙。未食完的東西也想收走

來到這裡,總會想吃些美式comfort food.叫了這個煙燻豬仔骨,無論份量大而且賣相非常精緻,而煙燻味亦非常強烈,吃下去亦帶濃郁燻味,豬仔骨非常入味,肉質鬆化,配上BBQ燒汁,及新鮮的蔬菜作伴碟,令菜色的顏色更加豐富,非常美味啊!

Caesar salad($79)雖來去都是那幾種材料, 但經過不同的調製後, 偏偏又會有不一樣的味道。 生菜葉沒過份細碎, 切成一大塊, 嫩綠爽甜, 表面沼上奶白的醬汁, 甜度剛好, 沒將酸味蓋過, 麵包粒吃起來不太像像烘多士的鬆脆, 反接近硬脆挺實, 不失香口, 充斥濃厚的牛油香, 只是有點油, 跟脆煙肉和鯷魚配搭出簡單細緻的美味, 後者份量稍欠了一點, 以致咸香未算突出。

剛剛才完成pizza, 已急著為甜牙齒作打算, 五款選擇各有動人之處, 雖然欠缺至愛的軟心朱古力蛋糕, 但一點也沒失望。 焗蛋白的清新、cheesecake的香濃、香橙朱古力餅的甘醇、拖肥布甸的香甜和香蕉船的醉人。 當見到由三款精選甜品拼湊成的甜品拼盤, 實在難掩興起之情, 但當然只是想想好了, 以當時的作戰力, 只容得下一款, 最終取了sticky toffee pudding($68)。

記得早期還未算很嗜甜之時, 對焦糖拖肥一類沒太大的好感, 直覺認定只得甜膩二字, 記不起什麼時侯想作出新嘗試, 誰知一試之下便深深愛上。 成品論賣相以言, 已是先聲奪人
, 布甸個子不小, 深啡近黑的用色, 未吃已飄來一陣甜香, 焗至溫熱, 入口濕潤, 綿密細嫩, 比燉蛋輕飄飄的感覺更為實在, 沒蛋糕的鬆泡, 微黏稠, 將雙唇也漿著一樣, 滲出牛油和焦糖煉製的味道, 是預期中的甜, 但不感單一乏味。 那球雪糕雪至冷冰冰的, 混有密麻的雲呢拿籽, 香氣倍添, 滑溜得來帶點挺身, 跟熱布甸同放入口, 冰火交融, 使人為之心動。

其實心底倒想多點一份甜品, 盡情甜蜜一番, 但還是適可而止好了。 或許下次會到赤柱的分店, 大可坐出露天位置, 面對開揚的景觀, 吹來陣陣的涼風, 相信一定會更難忘暢快。

“Watch out, there’s a wildfire in your mouth!”

Located in one of Hong Kong’s most prominent shopping malls, Elements, Wildfire is going to make you hot! Wildfire Elements is one of seven franchises in Hong Kong. The Auburn interior and the glowing Ferrari Red fire in the entrance drag your feet in closer like a bachelor searching through an online dating site.

The place was healthily decorated with rich colours and friendly smiles all around. It was the orthodox Italian cuisine; the one that I have adored for the past decade. As soon as we entered the restaurant, our noses filled up with the smell of pizza receiving a tan in the stone-grill, and the saccharine tomato sauce. We immediately felt welcomed and our stomachs were shrieking for the food.

For starters, we ordered the house salad, which was recommended to us. As I hurriedly put it in my mouth, the unique combination of chilled meat, spackled vegetables, crunchy croutons and wildfire’s flavorsome traditional sauce shattered, as my tongue began to explore the food. It was very bland, yet satisfying.

The highlight of the day was the main meal; all that I looked forward to. The Pizza hovered in first, and it appeared to be something over my expectations. It looked very appetizing; it was like staring at a brand new phone. I was drooling, waiting to get a slice of what looked to be a present from the heavens. The first bite of the pizza was remarkable; the texture was very indulgent and juicy. It had an inch-perfect taste that made your mouth melt in joy. The barbecue sauce made it seem rekindled my memories of making pizza with my grandmother.

If you are an Italian cuisine lover, the pasta here would make you high. We ordered the It had a white chocolate creaminess, and a very nice appeal. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection, in the sense that it had not been cooked to hard, or too soft. Although very tiny for its price, the dish was absolutely charming! The sauce and pasta was perfect, it oozed flavor from every angle. A must get dish if you ever go to Wildfire.
While the portions at Wildfire are quite small I would still recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys a good quality food; the menu has a lot to offer! If there was one promise I could make you, it is that you will leave the restaurant wanting more.

Executive lunch的主菜是Char-grilled sirloin steak with sautéed potatoes, red pepper, french bean in butter & pommery mustard gravy。Medium rare的厚身sirloin steak,有炭燒的香味,裡面的肉呈嫰粉紅色,可是再生一點點,不過現在也剛好,那個pommery mustard gravy帶點甜,配搭起上來也不俗。最欣賞是墊在下面的配菜,法國豆和紅椒條吸收了肉汁,爽甜好吃。

Spaghetti with thyme chicken and onions, mix peppers in chili butter sauce。同桌不吃辣的同事看到意粉的顏色本來還擔心會辣,而且是寫著chili butter sauce,但結果一點也不辣。雖然不辣,但味道不錯,幾惹味,意粉煮得不錯,有咬口,雞肉的份量也多。

Salsa tiger prawns pizza($138)。是這個月精選薄餅,看到檯上面的直立餐牌裡的照片不錯,所以就點了一個來試。配料除了虎蝦外,還有牛油果片、 mozzarella cheese, 車厘茄和salsa fresco醬。批底都算薄,味道還好,不過餡料有點吝嗇,不太看得到有完整的蝦,對愛吃牛油果的我來說牛油果少了點,最多的就是車厘茄。

Blueberry mousses in chocolate cup with vanilla sauce。賣相都頗有心思,一個朱古力做的小撻,裡面有灰紫色的藍莓慕思,慕思味道很不錯,不人工,有藍莓果味,甜度也剛好,不過那個朱古力撻就麻麻, 選用的朱古力的味道很廉價,同事們都說像小時候吃的平價朱古力金幣,只有甜味而沒有朱古力味。

員工證套餐沒有折扣,所以只有薄餅可以打折,最後每人一百二十多元,對比起上次吃的泰國菜,大家不約而同覺得多付一點錢來這裡吃更划算,食物整體上不錯,份量又足,絕對是可以再光顧的午餐地點。
