It is interesting to see Traditional Chinese bakeries sell their own teas as well as pastries.Apart from Wing Wah, Kee Wah has teas too.Tried the Iron Buddha which came packaged in a nice silver round tin.The dried tea leaves inside were impressive because they were whole leaves and not brittle tea dust, hence the strong fragrant taste of Iron Buddha.

The dried tea leaves inside were impressive because they were whole leaves and not brittle tea dust, hence the strong fragrant taste of Iron Buddha.

中午飯後,我因為是幫公司 exercise 兩張月餅券而來到了榮華餅家。近中秋,整個餅店都充滿了節日的氣氛,人人人,來餅店,都是取月餅。而我也不例外,取兩盒回公司交差。反正來到了,我又請老闆們試一試香港的傳統餅食啦。請人食榮華餅,老是老婆餅也許會太悶了,這次我請食的,就是國內國外人少見少食的,皮蛋酥。在分店買同在元朗買,的確是很有分別。工場在元朗,出爐的皮蛋酥的確是好食好多。就算我那次在落馬州買,在地利上 (而且是早上),皮依然酥化香口。這一次係灣仔買。皮蛋酥就是一直在熱爐內焗著,本來也沒什麼,因為在其他的分店,也會這樣的烘著,不過一直的沒有去買。而這一次一試,就知分別大了。皮,一樣的酥,但沒有了化的感覺。咬落,內側的皮已經變硬。內心的餡,太過乾身,也許是因為焗了一大個清早的問題吧。而是日的皮蛋也不靚,硬如鐵蛋,失望。感覺,要食真正好的惠婆餅,皮蛋酥,還是要入元朗買才會好食。

皮,一樣的酥,但沒有了化的感覺。咬落,內側的皮已經變硬。內心的餡,太過乾身,也許是因為焗了一大個清早的問題吧。而是日的皮蛋也不靚,硬如鐵蛋,失望。

感覺,要食真正好的惠婆餅,皮蛋酥,還是要入元朗買才會好食。
