有人話我冇品要睇心理醫生,所以我就要寫多幾篇大坑區餐廳既食後感日開飯....浣紗小廚既野食有好有唔好,薰雞基本上OK但就水準唔穩定,有時會苦左少少,嚴焗雞亦一樣,我試過一次好食到飛起但過兩日再去安歌就有少少走樣,但有一樣野就次次都好穩定,就係佢既雲吞,大粒又好食既雲吞我都係第一次食到.....我會繼續寫唔怕惡勢力既!

首先order了冬瓜盅,但只有两碗,$88,很昂贵!!

再来一个凉瓜炒蛋,再试一个糯米chicken wing,味道ok,!

最后叫一个招牌炒反,老板刹有介事特登捧来又不客气的教我们怎样吃炒饭!吹涨!

最后要提他们的油可能有些欠佳,朋友对食油特别敏锐,他对劣质油特别口渴及反胃!

Based on the name of this place, I thought it was a traditional kind of Chinese restaurant or private kitchen without much renovation or so-called decor, but I was wrong! Floor to ceiling window occupies its entire front and the interior ceiling is more than 10 feet high. Decor is definitely contemporary with conformable lighting and seating. A delightful surprise with the Smoked Chicken with Sweet Soya Sauce. Rich smoked aroma and flavors with tender chicken. Thumbs up! Don't let the sauce go to waste, can consume a bowl of rice just from a few spoonful of the sauce!
Everyone was in a slight awe when the Steamed Winter Melon Balls in Superior Soup was served because it wasn't what we expected it to be in terms of presentation. The winter melon balls were put into the shape of ... a cluster / sheaf / bunch of grapes covered with thick crystal sauce. Not much of a wow factor if you ask me but it was nice indeed. It proves that a little creativity can certainly add some colors to the dish, and in this case, literally. The transparent crystal sauce was creamy with rich flavors. Accordingly to the staff, each little winter melon balls were poked with a toothpicks so to ensure sauce and flavors would be absorbed. Nice touch.
I found the Braised OX-Tail with Red Wine in Casserole to be slightly undercooked with very tough and chewy meat. I like my ox-tail soft and tender. The sauce was wonderful, another great idea to go with plain white rice!
The Steamed Fish (forgot what fish it was)was prepared to perfection, well not exactly but just right in my opinion. The meat was easily separated from the bones and the texture was relatively firm to the bite. It can be due to the type of the fish as well but I liked it anyhow. However, not enough green onion and fish soya sauce, had to ask for more. Never underestimate the importance of these two garnishes because it can make a huge difference to the flavors and the overall enjoyment of the dish.
It took them quite a while to prepare but it was worth the wait indeed. The Fried Chicken Wing Stuffed with Glutinous Rice with its golden crisp crust went extremely well with the soft texture of the glutinous rice inside.With a bit of salt and pepper sprinkled on top, it was a very good dish to cold along with some cold beers in my opinion. I wonder how long it would take de-bone a chicken ....
Veggie is a must in each meal and the Poached Seasonal Vegetable with Medlar in Fish Soup served that purpose really well on this occasion. Not particularly exciting but the soup was very nice with rich and deep fish flavors so one can taste it on every bite.

Likes:
* Fried Chicken Wing Stuffed with Glutinous Rice
* Smoked Chicken with Sweet Soya Sauce - rich and deep flavor form the sauce, perfect t go with a bowl of white rice.
Dislikes:
* Braised OX-Tail with Red Wine in Casserole - meat too tough, slightly undercooked I think.
* Should provide more green onion and fish soya sauce for the steamed fish.
Avg Spending: HKD 100 - 200 per person

We wanted to come back to this restaurant as it had been a while since we came for a Sunday family lunch. We found it hard to find parking in the area and there are no car parks. But the memory of the tea smoked chicken brought us back. So I ordered the chicken in advance when I booked the table. We wanted to come back to this restaurant as it had been a while since we came for a Sunday family lunch. We found it hard to find parking in the area and there are no car parks. But the memory of the tea smoked chicken brought us back. So I ordered the chicken in advance when I booked the table.

For starter, we ordered the jellyfish head as that is mother in law's favourite dish. It turned out to be the thin crunchy type which she doesn't like. I think it is OK and the vinegar dressing quite appertising but am not a fan of jellyfish head.

We had some dim sum to start. The cheong fun was awful, the beef inside not finely chopped and very tough and tasteless, we almost had to complain. The char siu version only slightly better. Turnip cake was good and har gau not up to top quality standard as the skin was a bit floury and not transparent. Cha Siu bao was bad also, wet on the bottom. So don't come for the dim sum.

Luckily, the chicken saved the day and it was as good as we remembered. The rich tea and smoky flavour goes so well with the sweet soy sauce, we asked the waiter to save the sauce for us to take home. The chicken was finished in no time.

Organic vegetables in fish soup with goyza berries was good and the vegetables were tender.

Deep fried garoupa in corn sauce and crab meat was a speciality of the restaurant. The fish and sauce came separately. The fish was fried nicely in a thin batter. It was crispy and not oily but the sauce was like corn soup, needed more taste since the fish had hardly any.

Dan dan noodles was not salty enough and the taste of the flavoured peppercorn was too strong. Most of us didn't like that.

Yin Yan rice was nice and appreciated by all. It's an old fashioned dish that you don't find in many restaurants now.

Fried noodles with spare ribs in black beans was too salted although the noodles were crispy. Again could have complained.

Desserts were fine. I only remember the crispy mar far as being good.

心儀已久的一家店終於有機會一試. 店內環境裝潢不錯, 而且因為早到, 所以可以坐卡位. 點了清香的壽眉茶, 來了兩客桂花西紅柿. 冷凍的去皮西紅柿外觀既飽滿, 柿肉色澤晶瑩透紅, 加上甜甜的桂花蜜味喚醒味蕾感覺, 簡直令人回味 除此之外, 也點了兩客招牌煙燻蛋. 外型沒有廣告上的美, 不錯是有點煙燻味道, 不過令人有種"嗆嗆"的感覺, 而且蛋的"溏心"製作略嫌失準. 雖有魚子醬提味, 不過不足以令我傾倒 另外上了炸珍菌春卷, 素腸粉, 魚腐等 其餘的點心味道都算可以, 不過覺得不太值這個價錢! 還好服務和環境可補不足.

But overall the tables are well spaced apart and the ambience was good, especially the raised cart tables at the side.

We ordered the daily soup which was Sai Yeung Choi with Pork bones. Well flavoured and not too fatty, and tasted just like a good homemade soup should. Next was the deep fried fish with crabmeat and sweetcorn sauce which was served separately so you can adjust the amount of sauce you want. The batter was light and crispy and the fish remained tender inside. The smoked chicken had a strong aroma of smoked wood flavour, but the excessive amount of dark soy sauce made it a little too sweet for my palate, though the meat was tender and succulent and deserved a praise. Then we had the fish soup braised choi sum miu and also with mixed mushrooms, both were well executed and the vegetables was cooked to a slightly more tender texture than I normally would like, but it came out well and didn't taste overcooked. The king prawns with turnip cake came drowned in a thick gooey sauce which had a kick of spiciness and complemented with a touch of sweetness to it, but the sauce was just too thick and looked unappetising wobbly like jelly on a plate. The dan dan noodles was the highlight of the night, the broth had a good amount of peanuts to give it some crunchiness, wasn't too thick, and they added the typical Sichuan Fa Jiu spice to give it an extra punch of numbing sensation, and also some salted fish for extra flavour. It was brilliant. The vegetable Wui Meen was altogether a different story. There was too much soup and the noodles tasted overcooked.

But I have to say that the service was poor as the restaurant was seriously understaffed. Also a newbie brought us the wrong soup 3 times before he found our order. I needed to raise my hand for almost 2 minutes before someone came to refill the tea pots (but the tea leaves used were good, very refreshing). It took them almost 10 minutes to get the bill. Terrible. Maybe it's just our bad timing but if they are going to run a upmarket restaurant in this area, they need to do better.

七時許,推門入進,環境骨子雅致,摩登的水晶吊燈,絲絨靠背椅,以及高樓底設計,低調地流露高貴氣派.

一行五人點了鮑汁雞腳$38,葡式焗螺$28,蒜泥白肉$48,糯米釀雞翼$18,雙瓜炒有機芽菜$78,蟹肉粟米斑塊$168.

鮑汁雞腳--雞腳縱非肥碩,卻味濃質腍富膠質.

蒜泥白肉--被一致讚賞的蒜泥白肉,蒜味厚但不搶味,粉皮則薄透爽滑;而白肉肥瘦適中,全盡其精華!

糯米釀雞翼--飽滿的雞翼炸得外脆,內裏的糯米混入蝦米,冬菇及雞肉,層次豐富!

葡式焗螺--以溫和的葡汁炒香什菜粒及螺肉,繼而釀入螺殼中,比上不足,比下有餘的菜式.

雙瓜炒有機芽菜--雙瓜為味帶甘澀的老鼠瓜及南瓜;將其切絲,跟蘿蔔絲,冬菇及芽菜同炒,清怡的一道!

蟹肉粟米斑塊--色澤淡黃的斑塊入口欠缺斑肉的結實感,幾何斷定那並非石斑肉!幸好炸至薄脆香口,再蘸入那碗酷似蟹肉粟米羹的黃海中,拉上補下,不致太彆扭...

平日早午冇得出街食飯,難得學生測驗時我地可以出去食餐飯,當然出去散下步,吸下新鮮空氣啦。今次跟左另一班同事黎左大坑呢度食左lunch 啦。聽同事說這裡頗有名氣,看見餐單裡面既內容都知道既,名氣菜式,名氣價錢,連擺到上枱既分量都係好精緻 - 手功一流、造型美觀、份量好少^^!食真係幾好食架,我好鐘意個糖醋小排骨,好香又可口,芋頭酥超級爽脆,可能今次叫既食物冇咩特別(可能大家都唔識叫啦),睇唔到呢間餐廳跟其他不同之處,只覺得大家為了可以飽肚,於是叫了很多。最後埋單,每人$115,對我來說,這餐很好吃,但我不會常來了。

再來的是蒜泥雲白肉,看起來也是一般的蒜泥白肉,白肉切得很薄,刀功是不錯,但那白肉不夠肥就真的影響深遠了,吃起來不夠香,瘦肉有點嚡口,反之粉皮嫩滑冰涼,伴上蒜泥豉油同吃,豉油夠濃,伴在一起吃就是簡單的美味,稍嫌是蒜味不夠,若可以加多點蒜泥,一定會更好吃。

水晶肉是老弟喜歡的一味上海冷盤,水晶肉的水晶部份晶瑩剔透,看起來很漂亮,入口一剎那更是非常夠涼,讚!可惜不知道是否因為水晶部份很清澈的關係,水晶凍的高湯不夠味,而肉的部份略為嚡口,肉香不足,幸好有上海黑醋搭夠,醋味濃香而不死酸,也算不錯。

接下來是一隻的煙燻豉油雞,以今時今日來說,百多元一隻雞,還要有咁大隻的,也真的非常抵吃,用上煙燻豉油的煮法,用不用新鮮雞也不是大問題,只要不是雪雞就成了,而今天的豉油雞,雞皮是被浸成深深的啡色,醃得雞轉彎黑透了,雞肉的煙燻挺強,而且被豉油浸得剛熟,連雞胸肉也不嚡口而細嫩,而深啡色的雞皮更是極品,一口咬下,那充滿豉油的脂香在口中爆發回盪,現在回想起,又已經想再吃了,而其豉油非常之香,香起來又帶點煙燻味,用來下飯真的是一流,所以今晚縱然是咁好餸,我也禁不住吃了兩碗飯。

也來間場吃點纖維,豉汁涼瓜炒南瓜的豉汁味不算強,若可以的話,建議店家可以下多點原粒的豆豉,一定會炒得更香,而當中也吃得出有點蒜香,算是彌補了缺乏豆豉的不足吧,而南瓜片偏硬,可能用來炒的就會是這樣吧,或者店家在炒之前,要想想辦法替南瓜片做一點事前的功夫,至於涼瓜片則不錯,軟腍但還有點爽口,甘味仍在,配上豆豉當然合襯好吃。

再來的幾道是這兒的功夫菜,先談那澎湖鹹豬肉,上桌時其樣子像極一把扇,扇的支撐位圓心的位置是鹹酸菜及XO醬,中間的扇骨是鹹豬肉,而扇的頂部是青瓜片,賣相是一流的,吃在口中感覺會是如何?鹹豬肉是五層肥瘦雙間的腩肉,醃鹹了來燒,燒得香而旁邊有點焦,鹹酸菜不是死鹹死酸,少少的鹹當中帶有點酸甜的味道,配上在上的XO醬,有點辛香,然後以清清的青瓜片夾着上述的食材同吃,青瓜的清甜,鹹酸菜的酸甜,剛好平衡了腩肉脂肪的肥膩感,這個超讚,有創意,我鍾意。

再來吃吃魚,其名字為頭抽油浸黃花魚,一心以為是蒸魚,怎知道原來不是蒸魚,或以頭抽浸熟條黃花,原來是起了中間的脊骨後,再將魚的兩邊反開來油炸,難得是炸得不多油,碟底一點油也沒有,炸功一流,要做到這點,爐頭的火力要夠猛,油溫要夠高才做得到,炸好的魚非常香口而且嫩滑,以頭抽加上點生蔥來吃,吃起來又是簡單的美味,用了很特別的調味嗎?沒有;用了很特別繁複的烹調方法嗎?也沒有,但就是一流的炸功,美味的材料,就做到美味的餸菜,以一百三十八元一條咁大的黃花魚,真的是完全值回票價。

最後的那一道是白玉葡萄,放心!不是要吃葡萄作主菜,此葡萄的椗及葉,是以一塊雕了花紋的冬瓜皮做成的;而其葡萄果實,就用上了冬瓜粒來做成,佈置得真是很精美,而做法也不是太難,以高湯餵飽了冬瓜粒後,再打茨及排成一串葡萄的形狀就成,這道菜是一道純吃工夫的菜式,以七十八元吃高湯冬瓜粒,抵不抵吃,真的是見仁見智。

今晚的菜式確是不錯,而且某幾道菜更是非常難忘,原價大概九百多元,有了Bobo Fan Club的九折優惠,折合只是八百多元,以此質素,也算是很抵吃,也高興繼在跑馬地找到彭慶記,另也在大坑找到浣沙廚房,兩所都可說是高品質的開飯熱店,相信會有天再回來試別的菜。

When we got the bill, my friend commented about the price of the 咕噜肉, so I checked the bill and found the price of 咕噜肉on the bill is $30 higher than on menu.

I notified the waiter and he just corrected it in a few second. It is a computerized bill, description on the bill is correct but with a higher price than the menu

今年的母親節,為著避免出現人多無位,早已在上週四訂了檯,但是沒有預料到,當天所能供應的,最少四位的套餐晚餐,我與父母三人便出現問題,幸好是預訂關係,電話內該店小姐建議,安排一個三人使用之 "浣纱浪漫晚餐",而一般 "浪漫晚餐" 只供應兩位用的,時間方面則為該天晚上八點正 (即:該晚之第二輪客)。由於我們早十五分鐘便到達,看到第一輪的客人還未完全離去,但仍可以即時安排到,一個四人使用的卡位桌子上,經點過合適之茶之後,便開始上相關的菜了。 水晶粉皮雞絲:賣相非常好,但當經食用後就感覺到,無任何的特別,只是一般的貨式,比起 "翡翠拉麵" 就差得很遠了。 花菇鵝掌柚皮扒(位):此度菜當上檯的時候,就即時發現 "貸不對單" 了,其中一個主角 "柚皮朳",就不見在蝶上 (可以參閱附上相片)。經過投訴後,才把 "柚皮朳" 補回另上 - 真的是天大的笑話。花菇、鵝掌、柚皮等味道和口感,都沒法可以與 "北角鳯城" 作出比美。 蘿蔔糕中花蝦:本應是蝶上的,反而變為位上檯。另外,附上一碗 "泰式醬" 加上使用。結果,蝦只得一個大字,完全無鮮味和蝦味,蘿蔔糕無蘿蔔味,醬汁亦無泰式的感覺。

本應是蝶上的,反而變為位上檯。另外,附上一碗 "泰式醬" 加上使用。結果,蝦只得一個大字,完全無鮮味和蝦味,蘿蔔糕無蘿蔔味,醬汁亦無泰式的感覺。

酥皮海皇湯飽(位):
表面很明顯是個西式湯的賣相,內裡便是個中式的湯飽,味道則一般並無特式,只是可以看到,少許的魚翅絲在內。搞笑方面,當初送過來的時候,只能見得到二份,而聰明的待應馬上知悉,廚房又搞錯這是一個三人用的 "浪漫晚餐",故此給我們告悉,五分鐘後便會把餘下的一份送上。

鮮拆蟹肉炆伊麵(位):
寫明為位上,出來的是整蝶上檯的。此一度菜式,足足要等了,差不多超過半粒鐘,還需要再三向侍應追討,才能夠出場 - 真的沒有理由,這度極之簡單的菜式,那裡需要這麼多的時間。同時,亦發覺到,無發可以找到,其中之一個主角 "鮮拆蟹肉",經追問之下,得來的解釋是,蟹肉經已容化在伊麵內,此點我們真的無法可以作接受,因為我們吃落後,並無有鮮蟹肉的味道和感覺。

敬送甜品
出場的為 "桂花糕" 和 "蛋白杏仁露",此兩款反過來值得一讚。一向對 "桂花糕" 無好感的我,亦可以接受其味道和口感。置於 "蛋白杏仁露",可說是有了其特式似的,在其他糖水店內,相信很難能夠吃得到的。

整個晚上的廚房,真的可以說是 "烏龍百出",不只出來的菜式不對辦外,每一檯的客人都有時間上的延誤,分別都不停作出投訴,更聽到廚房備料不足,需要馬上到外出購買。總括來說,對請母親吃飯的人不大好過,對母親方面亦不大高興,真的可以比美,電視上的 "地獄厨房" 一樣的感覺。

最後,論價格方面亦不低廉,由其在母親節當天,每位最少要花費$268.00,其中並不包括加一和茶芥等項,經此一試就感到害怕了,怎樣可以再次來作品嘗呢!
