話咁快又到新年,係時候搵間傳統的中菜館和家人團年…今年我們就選擇了一間老字號的餐廳“新斗記”,無他,就是要吃得傳統。招牌即燒乳豬,乳豬不會太肥,入口少了點油膩感,加上燒得爆晒脆的皮,這便是最好味的乳豬。薑蔥美國桶蠔煲,用上看似簡單,但容易比較的薑蔥做法,因為有比較,才知道鹿死誰手。大大隻的桶蠔,每一口除了蠔香味,還多了一份薑蔥香氣,配上白飯,更是一級的享受。啫啫唐生菜煲,彷似這里的一道招牌菜,燒得熱烘烘的砂煲,配上幾乎全生的唐生菜,職員會在你面前把菜即場炒熟,免得上菜時,唐生菜因砂煲的熱力而弄得過老,加上蝦醬的調味,只可說「不得不試」!!碧綠蝦籽柚皮,一道手工菜,做法不難,要的是時間和耐性,機乎找不到的一道傳統菜式,來到這裡,有可不試的理由嗎?生滾拆肉泥鯭粥,這裡的招牌,泥鯭已拆肉,怕魚骨的你,不用怕,大大咬,吃個滿足的。紅豆沙,雖然是贈送的甜品,但味道一流,仲要煮到起沙!!

As I said, eating good food is always luck as you don't know which part they will give you and whether it is what you prefer.
The suckling pig I was given was extremely fat and there was not much meat on it.
The sweet and sour pork was just the same, it was very fat and different to the sweet and sour pork you get in UK which is just lean and meaty.

這間新斗記好得意,佢位於北角粵華酒店裏面,1樓,我哋以前成日係度book間房搞生日派對㗎🎉🎉🎉⋯⋯我哋特別喜歡訂北角店的,點解?因為北角店比起其他店小啲人,可以唔使食得太趕,經理同服務人員都會好好招呼,服務好殷勤。




今次我哋叫咗以下食物:



招牌即燒乳豬,皮肉分開,豬糕層已切走,食起來一點都不油膩,豬皮燒到非常香,非常脆,豬肉入味,好好食。如果佐敦店,有時可以見到師傅坐係度慢慢燒,因此知道呢隻燒豬咁好食,全部都係手工功勞。

招牌粟米大魚塊,$158,契女非常喜歡食,平時食飯好慢,經常被佢媽媽責罵,但是呢碟餸可以令佢乖乖咁自動自覺咁食曬啲飯,佢仲叻叻咁講比我哋知,佢啲飯已經食曬,童叟無欺,証明呢款餸堅係得。魚片炸到好脆,魚塊裏面依然軟熟,粟米粒味鮮,粟米汁質素濃,一點都不咸又不淡,剛剛恰到好處。

啫啫唐生菜煲,$78,特式是到枱時,啲菜都仲係炸炸聲,汁味香濃,菜質幼嫩,香味極重。食過好多次,其實食啫啫彊汁芥蘭會更加好味。

金牌炸子雞,1隻,$328,叫得金牌此餸也是首選,師傅炸到啲雞皮非常香脆,但雞肉依然鮮嫩,好有雞味。落單時,經理好好咁提醒我哋,一隻雞都幾大,怕我哋食唔曬,不過,以我哋嘅食力,只要係好味嘅餸,當然會應付有餘啦。最後,全部食曬,連經理都嘩然,哈哈。

鴛鴦蒸豆腐,$108,契女最愛吃豆腐,此餸也是給她食的。豆腐香滑,鴛鴦,一面是蝦膠,另一面是鯪魚肉,蝦膠彈呀,有鮮蝦味,鯪魚肉,魚味重,兩款連豆腐一起食,餸飯非常合適,好味,怪不得今晚契女咁開心。

啫啫鮮潤滑雞煲,$98,當然到枱時也是炸炸聲啦,豬潤厚切,潤裹依然有肉汁,不干身,豬潤彈牙,好味。滑雞入味,不過我覺得雞粒切得太細,大返小小,味道會更正,當然咁細粒都能帶小小雞骨,師傅一定有挑選過才用。

朋友是熟客,當然由他點菜。先來一味香口的「大排檔菜色」椒鹽鮮魷 ($118),椒鹽鮮魷雖然是最尋常不過的小菜,但要做得好,其實相當困難,每次點吃,不是粉漿太厚,就是椒鹽味不足。不過這裡嘅鮮魷,水準真係唔錯,咬落彈性十足,帶脆口,不太腍亦不太韌,而且粉漿極佳,只是薄薄的一層,入口金黃鬆化又不死實,連喼汁也不用蘸!

接著的紅燒 BB 鴿 ($48x2),水準亦不遑多讓,兩隻乳鴿件頭雖然不大,但外形脹卜卜,體態結實。咬開外皮,相當香脆,而且一點也不油膩,連入面嘅骨都有豉油香,加上肉質幼嫩,肉汁豐盈,令人愈吃愈滋味。伴吃的蝦片亦有水準,鬆脆可口,蝦味濃郁,記得唔好錯過。

招牌即燒乳豬 ($188),乳豬點左 1/4 隻,上桌時會跟埋醬料。先挾起一片乳豬試試,皮薄而鬆脆,入口充滿油香,而且師傅在上檯前已事先片去黏著乳豬皮的肥膏,所以食落完全不覺油膩,好食到停唔到口。至於下面的乳豬肉,質地亦夠曬嫩滑,的確名不虛傳,不愧為鎮店之寶,吃時亦可蘸少許乳豬醬,以增添風味。

接住上桌嘅係臘味炒芥蘭 ($108),碟芥蘭分量都幾多,臘味有臘腸、潤腸和臘肉三款,臘腸略嫌硬身,而潤腸就比較腍同香口,加上肥瘦適中,食落煙韌帶嚼勁。臘肉肥滋滋,頗為油膩,不是我杯茶。芥蘭非常新鮮,外表碧綠,而且炒得唔錯,夠曬鑊氣,色澤油亮,既爽口又唔硬身,清甜而不苦澀。

飯後有糖水送,有紅豆沙同綠豆沙可供選擇,揀了前者。紅豆沙送上後,先舀起一看,原來入面有好多紅豆粒同蓮子,紅豆大粒得來又充滿豆香,蓮子煲至腍身,入口粉綿,食落又甜又香。整體來說,店裡的食物和招呼都唔錯,水準穩定,人人啱食,大家都吃得很滿意。

I’m an expat and I’ve been to several Cantonese restaurants in Honkong. Among all the Cantonese Restaurants, this resturant was best!! The fried menu was not so greasy that they were all good. Especially the tofu menu is good. The suckling pig is amaaazing! Sweet and sour pork is a must!!!!! U need to try it with sugar. The service is very kind! I will take my friends here again for Cantonese food!!!
