I walked past this place thinking I’d found a hidden gem somehow missing the Michelin signs! Today I came back and managed to get in for an early lunch dining solo with no wait. The food was delicious, not overly salty but seemed a slight cut above the other BBQ places I’ve tried. Pricing was reasonable for quality and location, staff were friendly. My only request would be to offer an “everything with rice” option so I could try the bbq and roast pork, goose and chicken in one dish. Will go

没想到2023年打卡的第一家米其林,竟然是它,中午路过难得看到没人在等外带,那就择日不如撞日了·烧味和汉堡作为中餐和西餐的两个垂类,在香港占据着一部分不可撼动的江山,可惜我对这两种食物都不太热衷,以前基本没留意,但最近发现偶尔尝试下也不是不行·中环的地段所致,又有多年米其林一星的加持,这家在烧味饭中算贵的,但在米其林餐厅中又算最便宜的了吧,吃饱喝足人均不到100·【烧鹅切鸡双拼饭】烧鹅和白切鸡味道都不错,但肉质比我预期的还是欠了一丢丢,烧鹅口感虽然不如堂食那般好,但脆皮依然紧致而挺立,皮下脂肪油润丰腴的香气随着肉汁在口中炸开,配了质地比较浓稠的酸梅酱(但我竟然吃完了才发现……)·介于本人对鸡肉爱得深沉,甚至觉得切鸡比烧鹅还好吃诶——在吃鸡这件事上,真的可以相信省港粤!鸡皮爽滑弹,鸡肉清淡细腻的香味正好中和了烧鹅的油腻,一旁的葱油鲜得很有灵气·米饭淋了豉油,吃着不觉无味,但煮得有点软,【腐乳通菜】通菜品质一般,就当补充今日份蔬菜,腐乳酱调味很棒,滋味深厚,能再多给点就好了

【烧鹅切鸡双拼饭】烧鹅和白切鸡味道都不错,但肉质比我预期的还是欠了一丢丢,烧鹅口感虽然不如堂食那般好,但脆皮依然紧致而挺立,皮下脂肪油润丰腴的香气随着肉汁在口中炸开,配了质地比较浓稠的酸梅酱(但我竟然吃完了才发现……)

時移世易,眼見老店一間一間離場,更加要學懂珍惜。「一樂」開業於 1957年,據聞到現在每天也堅持只出爐十隻燒鵝。$60 一碗普通燒鵝瀨算唔算貴?怎算也不能說是便宜;若將回憶放進食物裏加乘,我還是會幫襯。始終今日唔知聽日事,而家餐飲業又難捱,這些美味老店情懷,別要愛得太遲。

Haven't been here for a while so gave it a try for a lunchbox, plus a portion of blanched choi sum.  The portion size was on the small side, the roasted goose were mostly skin and bone, but the little meat that I managed to gnaw off between the crispy skin and hard bone was surprisingly tasty,  how I wish I could have some more meat!  The choi sum was perfect, good texture, good temperature, very pleasing green.  Not cheap and would I go back?  maybe not for a long while.

Haven't been here for a while so gave it a try for a lunchbox, plus a portion of blanched choi sum.  The portion size was on the small side, the roasted goose were mostly skin and bone, but the little meat that I managed to gnaw off between the crispy skin and hard bone was surprisingly tasty,  how I wish I could have some more meat!  The choi sum was perfect, good texture, good temperature, very pleasing green.  Not cheap and would I go back?  maybe not for a long while. 
Other Info. : At this price point I expected a bit more substance - it seemed they were just giving lunchbox ($60) the least appealing part of the roast goose, despite the good taste, is lacking in portion size.

今次重臨一樂再食燒鵝脾瀨粉,因為真心覺得好食,所以同個日本朋友黎食。雖然鵝脾既價錢比較貴,但食落味道真係好正!皮脆唔肥膩,瀨粉而家唔係咁容易係茶餐廳食到,所以點都唔轉米粉或麵,佢地果湯底和梅子醬係食燒鵝既最佳配搭。腐乳通菜當造,所以都要試埋,反而果凍o茶就一般般。一坐低兩位靚姐已經好熱情,服務好好,仲成日問我地好唔好食,可能我果朋友係日本人,好奇心下佢地又講多兩句,我果日本朋友都話好好食,仲想下次再黎試其他野食。
