Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. On my own and wanted to grab lunch before heading home from Mongkok. I had tried this brand in CWB before so decided to try this branch to save time and brain cells.It was very busy over lunch on a weekday and there were lots of takeaway orders.Their menu was simple and clear and you could choose noodles/toppings to make your favourite combo. I had not tried their noodles without soup so decided to try it out this time. Given the cold weather, I chose hot noodles. There was an option to choose 涼拌. I chose 水晶粉 while there was an option to choose 紅薯粉. According to their menu, it was 秘製撈麵配微辣肉醬,花生,榨菜,鹹菜,醋,秘製撈汁. The transparent noodles were very very al dente and smooth, just like their 紅薯粉. Portion was quite big! At first, I found it not seasoned enough but actually it was not. And finishing all did not make me thirsty at all. The amount of minced pork, pickled veggies and sauce was quite appropriate to eat with the noodles. The addition of peanuts enhanced the texture of the bowl. I chose 微辣 and I did not find this level of spicyness spicy at all.

There were options to top up for different toppings at different prices. I tried these squid heads which were super fresh and crispy yet not hard to chew. Portion was quite a lot too.

Just $8 more for this cold soy milk together with the noodles. It was a whole bottle and was made in Hong Kong. The server passed me the straw rather than placing it on the table. Quite hygiene-cautious right?

It was my favourite snack here and it did not disappoint me again. There were 14 slices of grilled pork neck, although some slices were small. The grilled pork neck were very crispy on the surface which smelt and tasted very good. Yet they were not overly greasy or fatty but super super tender. They went even better with the sweet & sour sauce on the side. It was really appreciated that they were served warm.

In short, their 秘製豬頸肉 and 水晶粉 were really must-try!
