尼泊爾菜,給我的印象就是咖喱、胡椒脆餅、香料和餃子。今晚就到中環SOHO區初試尼泊爾菜。餐廳地方不太大,以啡色紅磚和棗紅系列裝潢,配襯白底黑色花紋圖案枱布,配深黑色的木椅子,還有牆上特別的裝飾品,整間餐廳充滿異國風情。餐廳採開放式設計,面向街外,非常開揚。秋涼季節,坐在裏面能遠眺街外景色,也不失愜意。Menu 上有太多選擇,花多眼亂。我們還是請侍應推介一些傳統又好味的尼泊爾菜式給我們好了。Mis Mas Khaja(混合小吃拼盤)餃子的外皮薄而彈性十足,內餡的雞肉頗多汁。內裏有獨特的香料,令人回味無窮。茄子炸得很脆,香草味濃郁, 十分好吃。Jhir Kabab(香料燒烤肉串)肉串經過醃製,帶有濃郁的香料味。外層微焦,內裡卻非常嫩滑,肉質鮮美。Macha Lali Gurash(咖喱魚)魚肉咖喱色澤鮮艷,濃郁的香料味撲鼻而來。魚肉煮得剛好,肉質滑嫩,與咖喱的醬汁相得益彰。Kault Chyau(炒野菇)野菇和西蘭花十分新鮮,炒至微焦,搭配香料、蕃茄等調味,使得整體味道更加豐富。Saffron Rice(藏紅花飯)飯色澤金黃,散發著淡淡的香氣,米粒分明,,呈長條型,口感Q彈。搭配着咖喱魚和炒野菇,盡吸醬汁,讓我們每吃一口都充滿感受到濃厚的尼泊爾風情!不是誇張,是真的有這種感覺呢!Naan(尼泊爾包)正宗的 Naan 外脆內軟,口感香濃。帶有微微的煙熏味,用來沾取各種咖喱與的醬汁,又是令我們吃過不停的尼泊爾包。Mustang Premium Lager(喜馬拉雅山泉水啤酒)啤酒入口感覺非常清爽,帶有淡淡的麥芽香,適合搭配較為辣的咖喱魚。微苦的口感中和了食物的油膩。Mohi(拉西)不嗜酒的我叫了一杯拉西,其實就是酸奶飲品,口感滑順,帶有淡淡的甜味和酸味!Royal Sekuwa(皇家燒烤肉)烤肉串的肉質鮮嫩,經過特製醃料的醃製,外焦內嫩!加少少檸檬汁,鮮味盡出!整頓晚餐非常滿足。可以幻想自己在品嚐海拔3300 米以上的傳統尼泊爾皇室料理! 其中的咖喱魚,我認為最好味道。這些咖喱真的有別於印度咖喱,香而不重口味。令我們吃得十分開懷。

甫坐下即奉上香脆的poppadom胡椒脆餅,有青瓜粒、紅蘿蔔粒、洋葱粒等,配上三款醬汁。Mis Mas Khaja這個多樣化的小吃拼盤包含了Momo、Singada Nepal和Bhenta Tareko。Momo是尼泊爾的經典餃子,選擇了雞肉,另選擇了蒸的餃子,餡多、餃皮富彈性。Singada Nepal類似咖喱角,小辣,內餡有薯仔、腰果和青豆。Bhenta Tareko則是炸茄子片,加入尼泊爾香料調味。Saffron Rice藏紅花米飯是這頓飯中的亮點,米粒長身、鬆散,非常有米香,淡淡的藏紅花香氣提升了整體的風味,必試,非常美味!Naan個人偏好的食物,因此評價不會差。烤得恰到好處,外脆內軟。Macha Raja Janakpuri這道魚料理以濃郁的香料和新鮮的魚肉為特色,魚肉鮮嫩。Kukhura-Ko Sekuwa這是尼泊爾式的烤雞肉串,以鐵板上,送來時香氣四溢,聲色味俱全!侍應會即時分菜,將鐵板上的雞肉放到客人的碟上。雞肉鮮嫩富肉汁,沒有皮也沒有骨,吃起來方便又美味!甜品Lalmon可選凍食或熱食,多水果,酸中帶甜。飲品選了鮮榨橙汁和老闆推薦的Mustang Premium Lager啤酒。服務優秀,外籍老闆非常熱情,除了推介食物,還講述餐廳有不少名人明星光顧。餐廳環境採開放式,沒有門,直接對街,因此室內難留住冷氣,幸好當晚氣溫不算高。

啱啱去完一間尼泊爾菜嘅餐廳,我話你知,實系一個正宗風味嘅探險!首先上嚟嗰啲脆片,啖啖爽口🍽,點上嗰絲滑嘅茄汁,簡直太夾啦!Singada Nepal,啲皮似金幣咁鬆脆,入面嘅咖哩角餡料又有啲平時食唔到嘅新鮮感覺。講真,食住佢哋嘅Khasi kathmandu羊肉咖哩,完全唔覺得係羊肉,嘗落去溫潤得黎又帶啲甜香,粒粒米飯又香又滑,將咖哩汁吸晒入去,份量又足夠!嗰隻芝士Naan,望落就厚實過個名模嘅胸脯,拉絲到不停,一口嗒落去,個芝士香涌晒出嚟啵,伴搭嗰盤咖哩,真係讚到冇朋友!食完主菜,就輪到嗰串Kukhura-ko sekuwa,燒得熱辣辣,啲雞肉又嫩又多汁,真系即叫即烤嘅即止水準🔥。我會推薦給鍾意尼泊爾菜,又想chill下嘅你,去感受下佢哋厚重風情同滿足嘅舌尖享受啦,簡直係味蕾嘅樂園!

Wonderful friendly reception and service through out the evening. As we had a few of us, we were able to sample about 7 starters and 4 mains plus a super hot chilli one that I did not personally dare to eat but others loved.Really good to meet up with friends and enjoy a relaxed evening together with good food and wine. (The house red was very palatable).
