是日中午選了這裡和食友慶生, 除了想品嚐牛扒之外, 最重要是想試試他們的心太軟, 原因很簡單, 就是食友喜歡吃甜.連日來已經吃了不知多少頓生日飯的食友, 甫坐下已經說不要點太多鹹食, 所以祇簡單點了一份 Set Lunch 和一個沙律. 點好菜後便拿著相機四處拍攝, 反正客人不多, 加上室內環境自然光充足, 喜歡照相的我們都拍得十分暢快!先上是一藍麵包, 以這個價錢的餐廳來說, 麵包的種類是稍欠驚喜了, 幸好味道和口感尚算不錯.午餐menu內的煙三文魚沙律先上, 新鮮的蔬菜全部集中放碟的中央, 被切得薄薄的煙三文魚在外面緊緊地擁抱著, 置頂還有一片脆脆作裝飾, 整體感覺儼如一棵矮小聖誕樹; 經過眼睛的洗禮後, 輪到嘴巴測試了, 三文魚略嫌煙燻味不足, 但和著伴碟的藍芝士和醬汁同吃, 味道實屬不錯; 當然鮮味滿載的蔬菜亦是我們喜愛的食物, 連日來吃得飽滯的食友, 亦可以抓緊機會清清腸胃.另外單點的蕃茄牛油果雞肉沙律亦於差不多時間上卓, 一層蕃茄一層雞肉加牛油果粒, 總共分了兩層, 賣相十足一個雙層蕃茄漢堡包, 讓人食慾大增; 同樣新鮮的食材沒有難吃的道理, 喜歡酸和甜的配搭, 每人多吃幾口, 瞬間便清碟了.同樣午餐menu的洋蔥湯芝香十足, 加上足料洋蔥, 芝香混和著洋蔥香, 十分配合個人口味, 可惜是食友不大喜歡洋蔥, 不能分享到當中美味.午餐主菜理所當然地選了牛扒, 雖然祇是午餐menu的收費, 但水準絲毫不差, 點了半熟的牛扒, 外層烤得有一點微焦, 帶出陣陣肉香; 切開看看, 是呈粉紅的嫩滑的肉質; 放進口試試, 肉味足加上有咬口, 以午餐水準來說, 實在是十分不俗! 配菜的烤蒜頭, 車厘茄和鮮炸薯條, 質素同樣合格, 但要留肚吃之後的甜點, 每一款都淺嚐即止.是日的真正主角在稍侯片刻後正式登場, Opus Hot Chocolate Cake for Two雖說是二人份量, 但和 “香港際酒店扒房+吧” 那個二人份巨型心太軟相比, 在體積上是不能相提並論的… 旁邊放了兩個金屬杯盛著的雲呢拿雪糕球, 不是自家製, 選用了Movenpick, 祇要好吃其實是不是自製問題也不大; 用刀把蛋糕切開, 是吃心太軟的指定動作, 朱古力漿慢慢從蛋糕內輕輕流出, 想要缺堤式震撼, 抱歉, 這裡欠奉; 雖然視覺享受是稍有不足, 但味道和口感卻十分出色, 焗得脆身的蛋糕外層不會過份乾旱, 正好配合濕潤度剛好的內層, 不會出現外面過份乾而裡面過份濕的不相襯效果; 朱古力漿夠濃郁但不過甜, 配合雲呢拿雪糕同吃, 絕對是稱心滿意的享受!以甜品當作主菜的食友, 當然不會滿足於一款甜點, 但不想增加食友連日來的腸胃負擔, 所以第二款甜點選了感覺較清新的Rhubarb and Wild Berry Crumble, 既可滿足甜胃, 又不會過份飽滯; 賣相同樣精彩, 鮮紅色的野莓放外面, 中間置頂一球雲呢拿雪糕, 下面舖了一層Crumble, 感覺精心細緻; 野莓層實際混入了煮溶了的Rhubarb, 顏色同樣是紅, 天衣無縫的配搭; 味道酸中帶甜, 結尾來一個開胃甜點, 說合適又好像不太對, 但正正切合我們是日的需要, 感覺良好!吃罷結賬離開, 午後陽光輕輕灑在身上, 感覺溫暖舒適, 亦不忘向天許願, 祈求食友在新一年都能吃得開心, 活得精彩!! continue reading

生日天在Steak House吃了夢寐以求的超巨型心太軟,切開蛋糕後,朱古力流心熔漿澎湃地流出,視覺上已經叫人無法抗拒。伴著外微脆內軟綿的蛋糕及雪白的雲尼拿雪糕吃,實在叫太滿足,感到很甜很幸福。如此巨型的心太軟,二人胃納真的容不下一整個,加上一整天都不停在吃,即使用盡最後一分力,最終也剩下四分一個。老實說,這一刻真的吃到有點怕。這晚曾狠狠地說了數遍要隔一星期,甚至兩星期以上才再吃心太軟,男朋友聽到後立即笑著說這是根本沒可能發生的事,一餐不吃甜品已經很難,何況是我最愛的心太軟。果然不出他所料,只是數天後,我又敵不過心太軟的誘惑了。約了食友來到中環LKF Tower的Opus Grill吃生日午飯,真開心,真的謝謝!來到Opus Grill,穿過了型格的吧檯,被安排坐到窗前的梳化位,光線充足,裝修不錯,感覺舒服。感到奇怪的是午餐客人不多,連我們計起只有三檯客人,可能是價錢比較貴一點吧。跟食友點來一份沙律及午市套餐共同分享,點餐後麵包先送來。跟午市套餐的是煙三文魚沙律,薄薄的三文魚片包著新鮮沙律菜,形狀擺放得有如金字塔般。沙律菜新鮮,伴菜的藍芝士味道很濃,而三文魚的煙燻味較為淡。 另一散點的是蕃茄牛油果雞肉沙律,蕃茄層間隔著牛油果粒及雞肉粒,賣相精緻討好。鮮紅色的蕃茄與微綠的牛油果大大勾起食慾,伴上甜美的焦糖杏仁粒,令口感更添層次。味道上,酸酸甜甜,很清新、開胃的沙律。洋蔥湯,面層的芝士雖然不多,但內裡的材料也不少,可是我不吃洋蔥,沒有試,食友說洋蔥湯味道不錯。來Opus Grill當然試試牛扒,五成熟,外表烤得較為黑,牛扒內裡呈鮮嫩粉紅,肉質較實點,有些許韌性,牛肉味十分香濃,表面更帶點烤焗焦味,也很好吃。配菜有烤蒜頭,車厘茄及新鮮炸起的薯仔,十分豐富。主菜後,多等大概十五分鐘,Opus Hot Chocolate Cake for Two便送上,看到已經叫人興奮!雖說是二人份量的心太軟,份量相比起Steak House的真的太渺小了,一個人吃掉絕不難。兩球Movenpick雲尼拿雪糕獨立地用銀杯盛載著,每人獨自可享用一杯。輕輕的把心太軟切開,已聞到陣陣香味。朱古力溶漿流心程度不高,緩緩地流了些許出來,看下去稠稀度十分高。溶漿入口味濃郁,不會很甜,可可味在口腔持久不散。蛋糕質感濕潤,但表面可以焗得再脆身點更好。蛋糕伴著超滑的雲尼拿雪糕吃,真的感到十分幸福!只得一客甜品怎能滿足,再點來一客味道較清新的Rhubarb and Wild Berry Crumble,鮮紅色的野莓伴上一球雪白的雲尼拿雪糕,表面有些金黃色的金寶,賣相十分吸引。Rhubarb是植物的莖部,外表像西芹,但是嫣紅色。通粉都會加入糖煮成甜品,常見的如Crumble及餡餅等。這裡把Rhubarb煮蓉,加入雜莓及焗金寶製成甜品,Rhubarb帶些許咬口,不會稔得像糊般口感,味道酸酸的,清新怡人,如金寶份量多一點更好。午餐後,跟男朋友說我已吃了心太軟,他說沒有甚麼的出奇,把持了數天不吃甜已經很厲害,當愛甜女孩說不再吃甜品,請別當真。 continue reading

Went to Opus Grill for dinner last night. The meal was fine but not the amazing experience I was expecting after reading the reviews on here. My boyfriend and I both had the dry aged steak, him the rib eye and me the new york strip. Like I said, it was good but I don't think I'll be rushing back. I much prefer the steak at La Pampa or Bistecca. We had a selection of side dishes: fries, roasted potatoes, sauteed spinach and broccoli & cauliflower. The fries were great and we both enjoyed the broccoli with cauliflower but the spinach was quite bitter and the roasted potatoes weren't what we were expecting as they were almost a bit soggy and not very crispy on the outside.On to the dessert... I had seen pctures on here of the chocolate lava cake and was really looking forward to that. We ordered it but unfortunately were told they had already sold out. That was a big disappointment but there was crumble on the menu and we both like that so ordered it. Unfortunately it wasn't what we were expecting and rather than being cooked like a crumble usually is it looked like the fruit and topping had been cooked separately and then a few sprinkles of the crumble had been added to the fruit at the end. The flavours were good but not a crumble in my opinion.So, all in all a decent meal but I would have expected more given the price. continue reading

本來就是衝著心太軟去的,結果主角不失所望,然而其他的甜品抑或主菜卻全部悲摧,令我倆想吐槽都無力…餐包是意大利香草包與麥包,麵包溫溫的帶點熱度,個人更喜歡質感鬆軟、混合香草與橄欖香的意大利包,而麥包則韌勁太足,但賣香十足也很好吃。只是牛油雪得太硬塗抹起來令人不爽因為重點是甜品,我們只叫了一個lunch set分享,前菜選了Greek Salad,味道濃厚的Feta Cheese配上清爽脆身的青瓜與辛香的洋蔥,再以橄欖油與碎橄欖調味,是夏日很美妙爽口的一道前菜然而隨後的主菜蕃茄意大利米飯就令人欲哭無淚了…看賣相已感到不妙,飯煮得過濕,米粒口感也較軟身,而且通體都是菜青味,感覺很像給病人熬的稀飯,健康輕怡卻沒啥味道,好不容易才能吃到一丟丟洋蔥的辛香…主菜敗興,只能寄希望於甜品了。跟餐甜品是抹茶朱古力慕斯,朱古力不算濃郁但也甜美,而那些灑在表面的曲奇碎碎,則根本吃不到抹茶味除了跟餐甜品,我們也另外單點了三件。下圖是大黃野莓crumble,以為大黃只是用來增加酸度的配角,沒想到竟然變成主角,是野莓與crumble的兩倍左右,令整個甜品都是一股酸澀澀的野菜味,唯一的慰藉就變成雲尼拿味很香醇的雪糕…是餐最大的慰藉變成了心太軟,說是兩人份其實也不是太巨份,比洲際的纖細太多了。這裡的出品濃稠度與洲際相當,當甜度較低,朱古力的苦感有滯後性,會於口中迴旋幾秒才散去,個人而言更喜歡洲際的版本,更甜美也更盡興,但這裡的出品也實屬出色了心太軟吃得心滿意足,可接下來的收尾就變得無比汗顏,這款甜品原名為Grilled mint pineapple,英文註解是with coconut pastry cream mille feuille, stawberry ice-cream,乍一看還以為是千層酥配椰子忌廉夾心,結果端上來卻發現是夾心餅乾,餅乾中間夾的是薄荷味極強的烤菠蘿,配在一起味道古怪又難吃。而草莓與菠蘿雪糕的味道也不夠真實自然埋單五百多,卻換來詭異的甜品與主菜,心裡自然不是滋味。想發牢騷,可一想到心太軟,就彷彿面對犯了錯誤的無知小女孩兒,也無力吐槽了。還是下次再訪,吃一吃店子的招牌牛扒,少點不中吃的甜品吧! continue reading

may 21, 11, 3人來lunch,叫咗 : 1) bread basket (免費)-有別於1般常見嘅款式-有麥包同白包-先食麥包,摸落仍暖熱,似喺自家做,因軟熟之餘,個密度都高,麥香明顯-之後嘅白包,就+上黑,綠橄欖同香草,所以唔會單調,也是很軟熟 2) executive lunch set x 2 (@hk$198)i) startersa) cornflake crusted hokkaido scallops-chorizo, sweet & sour onions, grilled corn puree-帶子大隻,有溫和嘅鮮味,肉質不是爽彈嗰種-洋蔥仔調味都不錯,而伴著的粟米puree很有粟米的香甜 b) sweet corn soup-少"杰"身-味道就好似樓上嘅corn puree嘅+水+忌廉版-也是ok不俗 ii) mainsa) 6oz usda prime, swift, petit filet mignon (+hk$70)-友人要了7成熟-原來真喺好細舊,不過好厚身-已經咁熟,但難得裡面嘅肉質沒有變"鞋"變乾/"un"-但牛肉味就唔喺咁濃,外面所撒嘅鹽都多咗,所以外面都幾鹹吓-串燒車厘茄好甜,亦食到grill香味-薯條雖是配角,但廚房都沒有掉以輕心,炸得外脆內軟,外面撒咗d類似淮鹽嘅物體,難得喺之後唔熱,都唔覺得油,又無腍晒-那個銅兜仔好cute好靚,裡面嘅dressing,少少酸,但我食唔出喺咩嚟,不過1定唔喺芝士-侍應好細心,上咗菜後,就即刻捧咗4款mustard出嚟比我哋揀,有英式,法式,mustard seed同另1款聽唔清楚 b) jb's pork rib-steak fries, pickle coleslaw-pork rib本身嘅食材有質素-有3大截,很啖啖肉,亦有脂肪膏-肉質是pork rib嚟講少見咁鬆,嫩,juicy,滑,所以好易離骨,個bbq sauce亦夠味,又唔過鹹,整體味道的確好味-不過個煮法都同時食到嘅唔同,佢無烤到外表微脆,裡面嘅肉質喺鬆,但唔夠結實-我哋每人只食到1截都覺得好充實,如果1個人要食晒佢,都要大胃口嘅人士先得-因為3度主菜同1時間上枱,女侍應見我哋分緊牛柳,好主動來幫忙分咗個pork rib,因為佢話食物喺要趁熱...........真喺對佢嘅服務態度+10分先得.........我相信佢都應該好鍾意食嘢,佢完全可以掌握到我哋呢d為食人士嘅心態 iii) dessert x 2-嗰日喺green tea pavlova-很鬆脆,無諗過喺中空的,所以我用"匙羮"壓下時,就全個表面下陷-所以個內結構相,唯有影友人嗰個-綠茶味唔多食得出,但頂頭嘅cream好有奶香味-個pavlova,入口即溶,甜度唔喺死甜,可以接受的-碟上暗紅粒,就喺dried桑莓粒來的,甜中帶多微酸味 3) jb's chopped salad (hk$108)-iceberg & romaine, artichoke & palm hearts, bacon, roquefort, chopped egg, onion, olives, semi dried tomato, capers, honey mustard dressing-是很多材料刴碎,初時食得好開心,直至我食到佢.............roquefort cheese-好勁好勁"so"味,很勁羊奶味,差點想吐出來-回家上網check,原來喺blue cheese grade,唔怪之得啦,我食芝士嘅接受程度還未上到這個殿堂級-extract自google : "is a sheep milk blue cheese from the south of France, and together with Bleu d'Auvergne, Stilton and Gorgonzola is one of the world's best-known blue cheeses"-如果喺blue cheese嘅粉絲,呢個1定令佢哋thumbs up 4) opus lobster risotto (hk$160)-browned butter and mascarpone-食友嘅高度推崇喺我嚟呢度嘅主因之1-端上枱時,已聞到蝦鮮味-入口飯有點挺身,但唔會叫有咬口-裡面食到有龍蝦肉,爽彈-飯同青豆都好入龍蝦嘅鮮味-食到龍蝦鮮味,食唔到燶味,鹹道適中 (因食龍蝦飯/飲龍蝦湯,都會好容易鹹味頗重) 5) the opus chocolate lava delight for 2 (hk$100)-呢個都喺食友高度讚揚,亦是我嚟呢度嘅第2主因-上枱時,佢嘅熱氣已散發出朱古力嘅香味了-即時放低個pavlova先-我今次呢個朱古力蛋糕嘅"流"度唔嚴重-很濃朱古力味,甜味不重-友人分好雪糕之後,我就左手揸雪糕,右手"匹"朱古力蛋糕,左1"羮",右1"羮"咁送入口........好忙呀~~~但好滿足..........hahaha* sat lunch,呢度唔多客 * 近來比較忙,少了出外吃飯..............呢餐喺我近期食到滿意的 (食物+服務)........心情都變得愉快.........2位友人都滿意.........我都高興有嘴巴相近嘅食友.........簡直喺我嘅明燈~~~ * 結帳時,侍應介紹逢星期4 lunch嘅promotin,女士嚟lunch (12noon - 2.30pm),可以+$40任食生蠔同飲香檳 continue reading
