Taiwanese restaurant recommended by Foodie; private dining upstairs with bright LED lighting. Here’s what we had. -五味酒醋花甲王 : succulent king clams bursting with complex flavors.-低溫油鹵浸鮮鮑 : tender and flavorful abalone topped with saffron.麻芥撈汁蟶子皇: razor clams too spicy for me; but the others loved it.塔香炸鮮蚵 : mini oysters expertly fried to perfection, with a golden and crunchy coating to juicy meat.老皮嫩肉 : a meat dish by name only; dish actually was tofu; deep fried with crunchy exterior with soft delicate interior; texture resembling tender meat. 青刴椒肉沫泡魚球 : utilizing a whole fish; addition of minced pork and green chili added a spicy and aromatic kick- too spicy for me tho.三杯中卷: a Taiwanese classic with tender squid in a savory sauce made with soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice wine.少爺薑蔥油雞: fresh chicken was used; that’s why the meat was not as tender as we liked. Loved the fragrant infusion of ginger and scallion tho.醉酒東坡肉合夾 : rich pork belly braised in flavorful marinade, served with steamed buns.黃油膏蟹糯米飯: succulent crab indulgently paired with sticky rice.阿嫲白菜滷 : comforting traditional Taiwanese dish of braised Cabbage.台式米粉炒: a delightful medley of flavors and textures, showcasing the essence of Taiwanese street food.紅燒牛肉麵: tender beef and chewy noodles in rich, fragrant, and deeply savory broth.Dessert: various types of balls in coconut soup. 這是我第二次來這家店,我同事向1個員工下了我們二人的單,下單的「新經理」還跟我確定一次說我是要了XX,過了10分鐘,前後可以有3個不同的員工來問我是否要了XX,最終還是上錯了,說好包一杯冰茶(午餐),最後還是會收我凍檸茶的價錢!本身第一次來的時候,對這家的員工印象非常不好,說了不要再來,今天同事說俾多一次機會,所以再一次經歷幾個白目員工的對待。吃一頓午餐都這麼受氣🙄真的氣到我要特意註冊OpenRice來寫下這段文字!這間店的員工到底是不是和老闆有仇?是不是故意做到這麼白癡博炒騙薪水? continue reading
