在餐廳網頁上宣傳由品味廚藝總監細意打造八道菜色的晚餐,每一道菜賣相看似很吸引,於是訂座和家人慶祝生日。於用餐當日去到餐廳時,告知那個宣傳在早一個月己完結,當我們詢問職員餐廳網頁仍然有這個宣傳單張,她竟然告知我們在酒店某一層有一張宣傳海佈清楚地寫上完結日期。為何不是在餐廳網頁上提供呢?是不是要客人到酒店行一趟才可以知呢?或是只提供給酒店入住的客人呢?外來客人不需理會?如果沒有提供菜單為何仍然張貼在網頁上?是否想欺騙客人?之後我們告知大堂經理這個荒謬的宣傳網頁,叫他們快些把這個宣傳品下架,很可惜,在我打這篇食評時仍未下架! continue reading

住係附近,由於餐廳太隱蔽,宣傳唔多,一直都無去食。今晚係398 8個course嘅海鮮大餐,全場有人介紹菜式,服務非常好。野食真係好有心思,全部擺盤好似幾千蚊西餐quality,仲要好食。 佢有份子料理成分,例如車里茄其實係蟹肉。然後全部食材都好新鮮,同隔離自助餐質素明顯係2個級數。甜品好靚,我覺得淨係呢個係出面賣都100蚊唔過份。佢幾個月就會換menu。佢中午好似係做semi-buffet lunch, 200蚊樓下呢個價錢我覺得好得。會再黎食。 continue reading

自從屯赤隧道開通,屯門牛筆者到東涌逛街非常方便。上次就試過Novotel Citygate的自助餐,今次就再試他們另一間餐廳「Olea」。「Olea」位於酒店大堂,其高達9米的樓底和開揚景觀,予人舒適之感。今次選擇了晚巿的「From Farm To Fork」菜單,6道菜都是$388加一,價錢相宜。打頭陣的是吞拿魚蓉塔塔!它的賣相非常精緻,捲在了餅皮中, 還放有魚子醬。倒入醬汁後,引出陣陣煙霧,甚具視覺效果。第2道是彷以荔枝球的章魚丸。外層舖上染了紅色的鹹蛋黃粒粒,再放有金箔點綴裝飾,入口脆卜卜。廚師建議一口一個地進食,內餡爆出流心奶皇醬,味道鹹鹹甜甜幾吸引。碗內放有羊肚菌和釀蝦膠,然後倒入清菇湯。釀蝦膠口感彈牙,羊肚菌則順滑脆嫩。兩者配以清甜鮮香的菇湯,入喉後感受到濃郁的菇味,相當好喝。金目鯛入口香甜,質感柔軟,有魚油香。醬汁creamy,是由白酒蒸煮熟而成。另外還伴有茴香、蜆肉、菇菌幾款配菜。A4和牛煎香,入口肉質彈牙有嚼勁,滲出陣陣濃郁牛香味。伴菜有酒釀蜜桃配多士,以及薯仔croissant。前者香甜重酒味,多士塊烘至十分香脆;後者外脆內軟嫩。而同行朋友不吃牛。餐廳把menu改為燒雞胸肉,伴以煙三文魚配多士和薯仔croissant。雞胸肉頗為juicy,有酸瓜醬供蘸點,味道更豐富。甜品以酒杯盛載着,進食前先移開面上的栗子lady finger。中間的一球雪糕咖啡味香濃,伴有浸了酒的軟淋lady finger、幼滑忌廉和雜莓,有點像吃tiramisu的感覺。整杯吃完後,未算有太甜太膩之感。栗子lady finger質感酥脆,配上微甜棉密的栗子蓉,味道口感都不錯。 continue reading
