To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 但想不到是這個螃蟹煲這麼有份量,大大一個鍋,上枱時真的有點驚訝!揭開煲蓋一刻,冒著白煙,陣陣楜椒香散發開來。大大個鮮紅的蟹蓋就在中央,伴上條條青綠的蔬菜,還有那奶白的湯和粉絲,碧綠叢中一點紅,樣子誘惑得很!

翻開蟹蓋,原來全隻蟹淹沒其中,大大隻蟹蚶和蟹身都埋在奶白的湯和粉絲裏,十分足料!侍應告知,這個蟹湯湯底以十數斤紅花蟹及老雞,經8小時慢火煲成,因此才會有奶白的顏色。那啖湯真的鮮甜到不得了!

湯頭鮮甜香濃而不膩,有點點楜椒香,又有生薑的微辣,飲一啖,暖在心頭,蟹的鮮味在口腔徘徊不散,加上粉絲的彈牙爽口,令人食唔停口!

除了是湯底出色,那肉蟹都不可多得,那碩大肥美的蚶,一拆即開。蟹是新鮮的,所以絲絲的肉都彈牙鮮甜,原以為這麼大的一煲我們會食剩,但最後食得一件不留,湯亦飲盡!!朋友讚不絕口,已經話要擇日再來!

炎炎夏日,點了兩杯香茅蘆薈果凍。想不到也有驚喜,果凍晶瑩剔透,上面有粒粒蘆薈肉和杞子。重點是香茅味道很出,成杯清香而滑嘟嘟,健怡清新,十分適合炎夏的天氣,好好味!而且大大杯不過$48,價錢真的很親民。
