上次錯過了The Place的漫味英倫主題自助餐, 一直都覺得很可惜, 最近它又有新主題-「味遊巴斯克」, 看畢介紹好像挺吸引, 於是決定一試。即興的於同日下午預約晚市自助餐。印象中它之前的芝士主題很不錯, 所以今次我對新主題也抱有很高期待。準時6時半進場, 走了一圈, 發覺有部分令人熟悉的菜式, 例如香煎鵝肝, 叉燒, 咖喱, 芝士白汁龍蝦, 烤牛肉和炒西蘭花等等....當然, 也少不得特別主題的食物。推介葡式香煎牛扒肉質不錯且富牛肉味, 調味亦剛好, 不過建議挑牛扒邊位位置會比較焾法式焗鮮蝦忌廉汁好香, 青瓜, 菇類和蝦都非常美味西班牙烤薯仔薯仔夠焾, 加上少許香草等, 淡淡的不錯!芝士白汁焗龍蝦味道不錯, 龍蝦肉不會太韌, 不過多吃會較膩香煎鵝肝多士即煎熱辣辣, 鵝肝肥美, 配上脆多士和果醬, 香口不油膩中規中矩之選咖喱牛腩今次的咖喱不夠惹味,整體普普通通吧!壽司壽司飯有點硬, 味道不過不失, 整體一般吧!刺身是晚有3到4款選擇,個人只吃三文魚, 今次師傅刀功不夠俐落, 每片刺身夾起來都互相連住。味道方面, 勉強能吃到魚生的鮮味, 一般吧!中伏之選西班牙雞肉飯很creamy, 但

上次吃過它的叉燒, 不但肥瘦均勻, 肉質還很焾, 蜜汁亦很充足; 但今次再食, 嘩! 肉太瘦了, 肉質又嚡又韌, 蜜汁又不夠
質素和味道大不如前, 令人失望

完全中伏
本以為有海鮮同煮會更好飲... 但事實是:海鮮跟湯底味道完全格格不入, 海鮮沒鮮味, 而湯底味道像茶餐廳的例湯。雖不想浪費, 但確實難飲, 最後只喝了幾口就投降!

吃完正餐, 又到了最期待的甜品時間
這兒的款式很多呢!還記得上回的甜點味道很好, 很高質。巡視了一圈, 今次仍有部份眼熟的甜品款式, 另外還有幾款新蛋糕。

事隔幾個月, 質素上沒有大進步, 反而退步了!?味道大不如前, 雖然部分甜品款式跟上次的一樣, 但味道比較普通, 未見很突出, 不過不失吧!反而即煎法式班戟有驚喜。

班戟即叫即整, 班戟皮薄薄的, 不會過厚, 加上適量忌廉, 芒果肉粒和雜果粒, 感覺很fresh又不膩; 再到雪糕區配上一球香甜的MöVENPICK楓糖核桃雪糕, 不錯!
