食自助餐,除了食物質素和價錢之外,噱頭也很重要。近日,再次來到金域假日酒店的 Bistro on the Mile 餐廳食自助餐。餐廳為了保持新鮮感,每日都會供應不同主題的海鮮自助餐。不過今次體驗更加特別,因為餐廳內放滿懷舊海報,天花掛了一個又一個鳥籠。原來,遇上了五至七月限定的「老香港傳統美食」海鮮七重奏自助餐。海鮮區是重點攻略的地區。日本長腳蟹、龍蝦仔很受歡迎,當然不會錯過。凍蝦和凍藍青口也很甜。何況,星期二的海鮮主題是「美國生蠔」之夜。作為愛蠔之人,當然要食夠一打即開美國生蠔,鮮甜,幾 Creamy,有不俗海水味。濃郁惹味的莧菜白汁焗蠔也是我喜歡的。其他以蠔入饌的菜色,還有蒜蓉蠔肉青口炒長通粉、炸蠔、蠔海鮮粥、蠔肉忌廉芝士甜椒卷、意式蠔肉多士、蠔香檳啫喱,以及各款蠔沙律等。每次來 Bistro on the Mile 都會喝他們的原盅燉湯。是夜燉湯是乳鴿燉螺頭,十分足料,鮮甜而不油,必定不可錯過。飲完,暖意從心頭湧出來,無比滿足。粉紅色的燒牛肉,烤得剛好,肉味濃郁。當然,除了西式美食之外,「老香港傳統美食」怎會少了懷舊港式風味?可以吃到避風塘炒蟹豉汁炒蜆、鹽焗雞、椒鹽賴尿蝦、鮑魚

可以吃到避風塘炒蟹豉汁炒蜆、鹽焗雞、椒鹽賴尿蝦、鮑魚鴨掌、琵琶鴨、金錢鷄、紙包骨……

還有地道的街頭小食煎釀三寶和錦鹵雲呑。
