To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 近期多了往新世紀廣場逛,發覺這個昔日頗為熱鬧的商場,現在已變得寂靜得多。廣場經過過去幾年龐大的改裝後,除美食廣場以外,其他商店大致已重新投入服務。商店經過重整後,多了一批新面孔,當中尤以集團式經營的中餐廳最多。之前開業的有翠園、鴻星、小南國和北京樓,還有較近期的百樂潮州酒家。  滷水鵝片, 4/5來到潮州菜館必叫的滷水鵝片,這裡做得非常出色,鵝片入口嫩滑而不油膩,滷水汁亦點到即止,不會過濃郁。   菊花石榴雞, 3/5菊花石榴雞是當晚唯一擁有菜蔬的菜式。石榴雞的材料頗為豐富,當中包括有雞絲、野菌粒和蔬菜粒。但茨汁比預期中清淡,似乎未能帶出餡料的鮮味。   乾煎糖醋麵, 4/5大家最初傾向揀選炒飯,不過最終還是較心儀較有潮州色彩的乾煎糖醋麵。招牌食法加入醋和砂糖,口感脆卜卜,的確暢快。   椰汁西米露, 3/5甜品方面,母親大人依然鍾情椰汁西米露,味道一如以往的清甜,沒有太大的驚喜。
