To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

從電視某"食家"及openrice 食評推介下, 特地於今天公眾假期去永合隆午餐.到達後在櫃檯跟阿姐說要一盒燒肉飯, 索價三十大元. 滿懷希望地以為可以一賞美味燒肉, 怎知一見斬燒肉師傅, 左一邊右一邊拿些肉碎, 頭頭尾尾拼起來便放入飯盒給我. 心裡已經涼了一大截. 實在不明白為什麼中午十二點買的燒肉只餘下"爛肉"可以賣給客人? 還是師傅是看人來決定給什麼品質的斬料?回到家一打開飯盒, 那些"肉碎" 已經散到整盒飯盒周圍, 其中一半的"肉碎"是肥豬肉, 一口咬餘下的廋肉及燒肉皮, 一點都沒有任何肉香, 肉味, 燒肉皮不脆, 不香亦不好咬, 唯一好處只可以說肉不會韌口. 而白飯亦以"極差"來形容: 沒有飯香, 温(不熱), 乾, 黏乎乎的.雖然三十元一個燒肉飯不算貴, 但以這樣的質素, 實在不敢恭維!!!
