To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 此店潮州菜馳名很久,我和太太多年前慕名以來,但又不覺值回票價,之後未想過再試。今晚正值大夥兒在附近打網球,於是有人選定此店飯局。 枱號在樓上,我們佔了雨張枱,共十六人。另有一枱坐了六位客人。我們叫了大約十款,記憶中幾味主菜計有椒鹽炸九肚魚、香煎蠔烙、普寧豆腐、蠔仔肉碎粥、油泡墨魚、鹵水鵝片、糖醋麵。因為大家席間閒話非常,所以沒閒拍照菜式。本來也不打算寫寫食評,但飯後卻忍不住寫少少感受。鹵水鵝片有點老,蠔仔肉碎粥做得馬虎,糖醋麵和普寧豆腐有部份炸得有點燶。整體來說,不似我們預期的馳名店水準。整晚樓上七時至十時就只有我們三枱。大家都有一疑團,馳名不代表能保持水準,但來來去去幾十款菜式,煮法幾十年應該可以日日如是,為何水準卻走下坡呢? 有點可惜。
