To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日探個親戚,咁因為親戚都有番咁上下年紀,咁就同佢去一啲中式酒樓度食飯,咁聽佢講想食羊腩煲,佢話28蚊咁我以為佢係咪搞錯咗呀,因為通常羊腩煲都要二百幾蚊啦,點知原來佢係冇睇錯,我亦都冇聽錯,羊腩煲係28蚊, 即係唔使講咁多嘢,咁就梗係衝過去食羊腩煲啦,28蚊咩年代呀街市都買唔到啦。 廢話少講睇我食咗啲乜:古法羊腩煲: 燘得好冧,羊腩汁炆得固然入味,羊腩都幾夠肥, 配料都有冬菇冬菇幾厚身, 呢間嘢啲羊腩煲我覺得係價錢上面真係數一數二,28蚊係冇得頂。清蒸龍躉件:呢個鮮龍躉片我覺得個肉真係幾好食,因為佢個肉質比較彈牙而且亦 保持龍躉嘅鮮味, 有時都驚一啲舖頭將啲食物放得太耐令到鮮味會流失咗, 所以呢一個魚我就比較推薦。酸菜豬手煲: 食落去個豬手,我已經充分感受到嗰種骨膠原嘅味道, 我自己覺得都幾滋補 ,而且我會覺得佢個酸菜汁用嚟送飯真係唔錯,師父炆到個豬手幾淋 ,可能因為個汁酸酸哋,令到我要咗個飯嚟食。菠蘿生炒骨: 呢個生炒骨我覺得個味道都幾好,一來唔係太甜又唔係太酸,味道恰到好處,而且佢件數亦都算係多,所以呢個生炒骨我都幾鍾意。最後呢間酒樓嘅羊腩煲我覺得真係幾抵,如果有興趣嘅朋友可以嚟呢
