To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今晚約了去德福看电影, 為方便起見, 大家約了去地鐵站口的美心皇宮晚飯, 因為裝修好, 又容易揾位, 座位也寬闊, 價錢也合理.侍應開茶之後, 送來餐牌,  我們趕着看电影, 也速速看餐牌便落單了.上菜很快, 先來老火湯, 用煲仔上, 好足料, 有候头菇, 雪耳, 瘦肉. 湯底很甜, 夠熱, 份量多,  我們5個人, 每人碗半.生炆斑腩煲, 用窩仔上枱, 保持熱量, 班腩滑又少骨, 沒腥味, 配大蔥和薑來炆, 惹味而不油, 很好.菠蘿生炒骨, 鑊氣好賣相也不錯, 生炒骨不只是骨, 頗好肉而不肥, 炸得好香脆不乾身, 配菜自然是新鮮菠蘿及青椒,  酸甜醬汁夠惹味. 不太酸也不覺甜, 真的好睇又好食.客家釀豆腐煲, 豆腐很滑, 釀魚肉也好味, 但配菜少只有幾條西芹, 而整體份量也太少.艇皇泡翡翠苗, 炒菜苗, 配料有少花膠絲, 冬菇絲, 蝦米絲, 筍絲, 好簡單的健康菜式, 少油入口爽最後我們叫了甜品是:  杏汁薏米豆腐花, 木桶仔裝, 豆腐花又滑, 加入杏汁薏米又夠甜, 又有口感, 分五個人吃, 剛好每人一碗很平均,  蛋散, 香甜鬆脆.  美味佳選.此晚餐中規中舉, 沒有帶給我們特別驚
