一轉眼已經數年沒有來過Sabartini,猶記得剛認識K先生的時候來過這裡吃Brunch,對於當年的情景及對餐廳的印象也顯得有點模糊不清,要仔細記得當時吃過什麼應該有點難道吧,只依稀的記得這間餐廳食物也不錯,但記得對當時對剛初出矛爐工作的小妹妹來說,價位定價有點高,好像當年也要六百多元一位,其實一直很想重來回味一番,但畢竟香港餐廳選擇太多,做高質brunch 的餐廳也愈來愈多,以致一直沒有機會再來一遍。是次其實也有想過到香格里拉的lobster bar /洲際的Steak house/ 朗廷的Bostonian,爭扎了一會還是想重拾當年的味道,亦發現原來Sabartini現在也有生蠔供應,香格里拉和洲際也沒有,相比起沒有吃過的Bostonian ,覺得這𥚃質素一定會更有保證吧。一星期前打來訂位,星期六和星期日的食物種類也是一樣,價錢分別在於星期六沒有live band,而星期日是有的。Live band 對於我們來說並不是必需的,畢竟我們也不是初相識,不過其實也可以幻想得到live band 也滿有情調的。雖然筆者並沒有到訪過羅馬那邊的Sabartini ,但據知餐廳的裝潢是跟羅馬店一

雖然筆者並沒有到訪過羅馬那邊的Sabartini ,但據知餐廳的裝潢是跟羅馬店一樣的,說實在筆者覺得這𥚃的裝修並不會很有派頭,淡黃色的牆壁,咖啡色的地磚很難給人華麗的感覺,反而帶有意大利鄉村風格的古代風,相比起位於新葡京同是源於意大利的Don Alfonso 1890,筆者反而更喜歡那裡雅緻的格調。

Brunch價錢也再細分為2種,只包一杯果汁的$598,可以free flow 紅白酒果汁$698,定價比預期中化算,價位也好像比當年回落了?豈或是筆者記憶有誤呢?!

每人也有一杯果汁,點了西柚汁和石榴汁,西柚汁其實也不錯,但個人比較偏好石榴汁,濃郁又夠甜,而且比較少有。

生蠔是來自蘇格蘭的,每隻也算肥大肉厚,雖然並非新鮮開,但每次呈出來的份量也不多,所以鮮味也得以保存,但海水味較淡。以buffet 的質素來說其實已經相當不錯。

封乾火腿是Banca del Prosciutto,肉質較軟熟,估計應該是大概12-16個月左右,鹹香味也尚算不錯,而且每片切得很整齊,每片大小一致,但切得較厚身,有點韌度,但哈密瓜卻很夠juicy。反而生牛肉每片非常透薄,而且很嫩滑,充斥著香氣四溢的橄欖油,夾上生洋蔥同吃更覺滋味。

Bruschetta分別有兩種選擇:  魚生片的Bruschetta及 黑松露scramble egg Bruschetta。

由於menu 每星期也會有點不同,本來今天沒有鵝肝吃有點少失望,但吃過這個scramble egg 後,真是一試難望。魚生片的沒有很大驚喜,吃一個已經足夠,scramble egg 的真的要一吃再吃,說是全世界最好吃的可能會有點浮誇,但一定是筆者自出娘胎以來吃過最好的,那種嫩滑,厚度和味道全都很到家,加上濃厚的黑松露味,那種美味程度非筆墨能形容。

細心的服務員留意到我們吃頭盤到差不多的時候,便會每人附上半隻蒜容燒龍蝦,龍蝦鮮嫩彈牙,肉汁依然,蒜香味不太濃不會蓋過龍蝦的味道。

再來更有是日pasta,來到這裡筆者已經有9成飽,黑松露忌廉意粉及Tomato sauce penne,penne 內配有茄子和蕃茄,雖然penne味道上沒有很大驚喜,但兩者意粉的質感也很不錯,就是意大利大常説的al dente口感。筆者倒是黑松露忌廉意粉,忌廉非常rich 及creamy,sauce 夠滑身,黑松露味濃。

來到Main course,我們選了燉牛和澳洲羊架,燉牛肉配以紅酒磨菇汁味道不錯,肉質夠鬆化亦夠軟淋,每一口肉質也帶有油脂香,脂肪分佈平均,只是這時候肚皮已經太撐了,難以再放鬆心情細味品嚐,而羊架生熟程度也剛好,肉質也夠juicy,帶有少許可以接受的羊騷味。

雖然已經很撐很撐,但這裡甜品選擇也有不少,而且有名的甜點一定要吃。

帝苑酒店的酥皮一向做得很好,St Hornor 蛋糕果然名不虛傳,夠脆夠香口,拿破輪酥皮層層分明,蝴蝶酥也一如以往的好吃,tiramisu 也是名物之一,咖啡味香濃但覺得有點偏苦,其他好吃的還有bread pudding,吃時記得一定要占上custard 同吃,panna cotta 也算不錯,白酒啫喱富有白酒味但不會苦澀,而且內裡有士多啤梨及藍莓。咖啡味cream brûlée 味道感覺有點不協調,上面的焦糖夠香脆,可是布甸部分有點太稀,還是喜愛原味多一點。

最後還有咖啡或茶,雖然咖啡看上很吸引而且還有拉花,但檸檬茶卻最適合用來消滯

整個Brunch 從11:30am 開始到2:30pm,但我們3:20pm 才斯然離開,論環境,服務和食物質素也很到位,每人五百多元實屬超值吧!
