Restaurant: Chong Fat Chiu Chow Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最初滿心期待,最後失望而回...今次同朋友去一去心中的名食店.有老朋友住在城南道,二十年來,每次探老朋友行經此店都聞到很香的味道,但我都沒有光顧過.老朋友又向我推介了.終於約了朋友去試試.結果失望而回.可能是蔡生效應,才令此店仍未結業...首先此店並沒有餐牌.只有二十多款菜式寫在牆上,而有很多菜式並沒有寫上.真係唔識點菜.幸好得老朋友二十年來的推介,我點了胡椒豬肚湯,炒魚麵,另外加上豬腳凍,鵝片,炒薄殼.胡椒豬肚湯喝第一口時實在好味,在別的食店沒有這味道.不只用了豬肚,也用了豬粉腸等.但多飲湯後,發現湯水很鹹.幸好辣味適中.兩人勉強可飲完一窩.炒魚麵沒什麼特別,令人失望.豬腳凍味道很淡,朋友說外面所食的比這裏好.鵝片比外面普通打冷檔的更差...炒薄殼算是有驚喜,因為以前沒食過.但九層塔略嫌不足.剛好是三百元...收錢時侍應還要求再多加貼士...如此服務...丟下十元貼士便急急離開...唔通真係要食翅食凍蟹先好來創發...但我肯定不會再來了.下次去新城算了...下一站走去食潮州糖水-合成.
