長輩通常都不太喜歡日式放題或西式自助餐,事關菜式中有很多生冷食物,不合口胃,難得得悉京香閣有做京滬菜自助餐,又有團購優惠,就一試高低。平日晚上已經訂位,想不到人山人海,未有訂位的更要排隊輪候,看來此自助餐頗受歡迎。坐低後見到片皮鴨排著長長的人龍,還是先取為快。師傅差不多不停手片出片皮鴨,取了數塊一試。每一塊餅皮都有一張紙分隔,餅皮微濕帶暖,厚薄適中。片皮鴨略肥,淨食鴨肉的話略帶騷味,包著餅皮則無此問題。食完片皮鴨後,花膠雞湯及鮑魚冬菇剛到。花膠雞湯內有兩塊花膠,有花膠質感,算是不錯。鮑魚冬菇雖然略細,但煙韌彈牙,煮得入味。自助餐冷盤及熱葷可以自取,包點及甜品則劃紙。冷盤大致上有油炆筍、陳醋雲耳、手拍青瓜、四喜烤夫、醉翁蝦、五香牛展、鎮江肴肉、花鵰醉雞、麻辣多春魚、素鵝等,可以任食任取。平日到上海菜館點上冷盤既少又貴,今次可以食過夠本。冷盤大致上味道都不錯,煮得入味。包點即叫即整,點上生煎窩貼、小籠包、上海春卷、北京水餃及紅油抄手,印象比較深的是小籠包,小籠包熱得燙口,皮薄煙韌,肉汁豐富鮮甜。熱葷只淺嚐西芹炒魚柳及上湯翡翠苗。魚柳雖是雪藏魚,但煮得嫩滑入味,西芹亦青綠爽脆。甜點叫了高力豆

甜點叫了高力豆沙及驢打滾,高力豆沙如果炸得鬆軟一點,味道會更佳。驢打滾煙韌少甜,份量大一點會更加品嚐到其煙韌感。
