間中見到網友分享,今日例休日決定慕名探店,由新界東出車到九龍西。小店原來係利奧坊附近。因巿區重建帶動的士紳化,在大角嘴也非常明顯,榮記小食正處於舊樓群中,夾雜在車房、鐵器工程之間,與對面的高聳的玻璃幕牆屋苑形成強烈對比。小店據說已經經歷幾十年,由上一代創業夫婦,轉交下一代兒子及媳婦經營。男方主力水吧麵檔、女方協助煮食、樓面、外賣。兩個人都以turbo模式,團團轉咁應付客人。呢度大概可以容納十二、三人,但係無論堂食定外賣,全部食客都跟店長夫婦有傾有講,而店長也似乎知道佢哋會食乜,揚溢著小有的人情味。熱奶茶是受推介的其中一個,端上枱溫度及濃度絕不比其他名店失色,縱使見到呢度係採用雙囍淡奶沖茶。我先要了牛腩冬菇雙拼麵。麵係平價即食麵,不過我見幾位熟客都會轉出前一丁,而且仲會指明黑蒜油或者豬骨湯款式。牛腩係用上碎腩,下欄嘢不過炆得入味同軟淋,而且仲夾雜着牛筋。冬菇炆得軟淋滑溜,而且保留咗冬菇的香味。碗麵食到一半,忽然傳來「抄牌」的聲音,星期六上午都絕不鬆懈,唯有貢獻庫房啦!!事到如今,不如坐耐啲,叫咗煎鯪魚餅、炸雞翼。鯪魚餅香口有咬口,雞翼脆卜卜(不過空口食有點鹹),而且由女方係後面廚房即製,
