To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

好想吃黑柏葉，所以要到長沙灣這家總店碰碰運氣，因為黑柏葉不是經常有的.太早去也沒有，太晚也沒有，最好是12點至2點去最好。不過這一餐是我幫襯譚仔這麼久以來最好味的一次。為什麼？因為剛到門口就看見兩張通告，還以為是加價，仔細一看，原來這家店的老闆捐了20萬給香港紅十字會，用來幫助四川地震的災民，心裏立即感覺暖暖的，立即打給住在災區德陽的姐姐，我每天都會和她通電話了解情況，她告訴我在電視上看到的只是一部分，還有好多靠山的鄉村，根本還無法進去，也許裏面已經變成死城.我將捐款這件事情告訴她，她和我一樣，非常感激，我代表她向譚仔米線的老闆致以謝意，也向全香港出錢出力的市民致以萬分的感謝。
