To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

難得星期六放假，想同埋朋友仔一齊去食早餐再出去行吓，見依間餐廳早餐選擇幾多，就入咗去食。點知想食邊樣無邊樣，才早上九點幾咩都無，我想叫水波蛋又話無，自選麵包連牛角包都冇，極度失望。😭😭😭😭😭😭最後其實可以選擇唔多🥲🥲🥲食物方面，磨菇勁臭青味，粟米粒又唔甜無味🤨，真係平時屋企買罐頭粟米都甜過佢。兩個跟餐自選麵包又勁硬，真係硬過石頭，好似唔知放左幾多日咁再翻熱🤪。唯一炒蛋係正常，無炒過火，仲見到蛋汁。香蕉班戟係好食嘅，好香香蕉味，班㦸夠鬆軟。
