泰國菜是我其中一樣喜歡的菜系,因為味道香濃,而且酸酸辣辣的味道,冬天可以暖胃,夏天也可以開胃。而香港的泰國菜多以泰南菜為主,菜式跟相鄰的馬來西亞一樣多用椰奶和黃薑,但泰國菜原來跟中國菜一樣也有分多個菜系,例如泰南菜、泰中菜、泰北菜和泰東北菜。而當中我最喜歡的酸辣菜式就是屬於泰東北菜。最近從網上得知,銅鑼灣有一間以泰東北菜作主打的泰菜店,菜式當然不只限於青木瓜沙律和冬蔭功等著名菜式,所以就相約一眾泰菜愛好食友一同尋食。******************************18巷位於銅鑼灣世貿,距離銅鑼灣站僅五分鐘路程,非常好找。餐廳以棕色為主調,牆上帶泰國風的雕刻和掛畫令摩登的裝潢中透出一點古樸的味道,餐廳雖然地方不算大,只可容納六十位食客,但座位都頗為舒適而不覺擠擁。 荔枝特飲($45)荔枝特飲就是用荔枝肉打成的沙冰,雖然顏色像雪般白,但入口確是很重的荔枝清甜味,而且夠冰凍,最適合在這火辣的一夜飲用。 椰青特飲($45)椰青特飲則是把椰青起肉後打成沙冰,所以上枱時也是原個椰青上。入口也是很清甜的椰青味,配泰式濃味食物也同樣適合。 泰式鮮蝦刺身($118)生蝦刺身
