To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 查返自己食評原來上次來經已是15年8月的事, 真的都有一段時間沒有來了, 週五晚比想像中的少客人, 我們只兩人能點的不多,小食是蒜片牛仔粒$75 師傅手藝是不錯的了, 快炒嘅牛仔粒能保持內部軟淋, 汁亦是剛剛掛於每粒牛仔肉表面, 但材料呢樣東西往往係掌握之外嘅, 肉質乎合牛仔肉的要求但偏偏完全沒有任何牛肉味, 唔講話係牛肉就算講我知係駝鳥肉我地都會信, 唔清楚這裡入的是否真的是VEAL MEAL? 但一般中式廚師又好少會柯打仔牛肉, 相信只是一件比較簿味嘅牛柳肉吧!香煎倉魚件$218 倉魚件兩件(中切), 以煎封手法做, 乎合預計嘅質地同味道, 伴碟比較上做得精緻, 魚蛋雜菜煲$148 估佢唔到整個煲滿滿的, 菜湯帶清甜白菜味, 魚蛋明顯係自家製, 口感爽亦彈牙更難得的係魚蛋內的不是霸道的味精味,而是清徹的魚肉味, 這是完全預計不到, 沒有想過現在還有師傅做魚蛋唔強加味精? 但這天吃到的是感覺唔到那強而勁的氣味, 到底是我們層次低還是師傅技藝高超?真的焦從稽考, 但如果下次再來我們定必會再點這個煲!
