To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

有次陪朋友食嘢，見到入面有位就入咗去坐。我就叫咗個炸蝦條酸辣米線，朋友就叫咗個咸菜豬肚湯飯。我朋友一食就話好好味，不過我就冇試食。至於個炸蝦條酸辣米線，我就覺得真係有驚喜！炸蝦條係新鮮即炸，而酸辣米線就係剛剛好的感覺！特別要讚嘅係老闆好好人，不斷同我介紹佢間餐廳仲有乜嘢好食，除咗食飽個肚之外，我仲覺得食多咗份人情味！相信呢間餐廳會係我飯堂之一，我見到佢仲有好多小菜都相當吸引，如果大家有機會就嚟試吓啦！
